Funny you should post this, I just watched this same video last night and loved it. In answer to your question, I think the wife would like the noise none too much. I have been looking at motorized pollen extractors over the past few weeks. The $300 price tag for such a simple contraption is a little too much when elbow grease is so cheap. Never tried anything with just a screen like the Moroccans, but have used the ice water method like 420fied does with great results.

I will be trying dry ice next time the vids I've seen make it look pretty painless. I also like the way it can go strait from screen to press with no drying time necessary.

My pal swears by the dry ice method. I have volunteered the ENTIRE harvest of my tent to this. He has invited me over to teach me, and will provide the screen/buckets, etc. and I will provide the raw trichs. 50/50 split. I think I get the better of the deal.

My sog under JDL 600 @110% is two trays, one @40 days, the other is 38.

They bolted a bit, but are within reason @14 - 16". PE will work full scale.
I want to start 6 trays worth soon, at one time.

the palletized 8 packs in 1020s. May order special design trays and run 'em,
what I'm doing now is a huge daily PIA :surrender:
Build a short table covered with visqueen for drainage to a bucket.
Problem is light coverage. Two 400s would be better than one 600, I have only one magnetic kludge 400.
It happily with great heat lights my vert side, which has 8(of course) 40 day PE + others.
400 mag ballast throws off more heat than the JDL 600 right next to it.

BushyII is about ready so it'll be rubber glove time, and spin trim.
If I gum up my hands with this shit, I dare not leave the house for days.

Bag time will be later, for massive kif.

I notice not heat from jdl ballast,never having owned a mag ballast i can only imagine, i notice that the mh 400 bulb produces more heat than expected defo more than the 400 hps strange to me ,soon to arrive in my grubby fat fingers new tent and batwing for 200-400watt veg tent to go along with another $400 bux worth of gear hmm with tent n wing i guess thats a total of 500 spent this week need for veg place reduces bank account to near depleation! oh well what else to i have to do? propa your sog looks like a forrest of sticky dank wads of tasty PE love, i wish to slam my face into the "trees" and inhale the undoubted PE-rfume , waller like a pig in cool sticky mud! Put hand on JDL, very warm. Hand on 400 mag will cook, finger-licking good.

Spinner trial was mostly popcorn, tough to trim size. Upper, sizable nugs will trim even easier/better.
The smallest nuglet on the right is about size & shape of a .22 pellet. It weigh(ed) about one twentieth of a gram.
It fit perfectly into my ancient one-hitter, a lovely quarter of my typical day's consumption
This bone-dry collection weighs 2.3g:

Tight & lovely out of the grind. If no spinner, wouldn't waste my time

I find it amazing that it works that well with the popcorn buds! I'm with you bro...after about 7 or 8 hours of trimming, the small stuff gets thrown in with the trim... Now I know I have to get one of those trimmers!

Hanging net rack for wet buds should arrive for the 49 day fiesta. No more hanging sticks, I hope.
I don't yet believe it's true, not 100%. Reality often sucks, and I've lied to myself more than once.
Like the video, pluck the fans then a quick strip of nugs from the sticks? Get outa heah!
Saw a guy on a vid with a little cutting hook, took 3 seconds eack stick. Plant a minute

Snug scissors up to the bud bottom, for shortest stems. They can break the trimmer wire.
Big power trimmers have HD cutters that also pull a downdraft. I got a handjob weedwhacker.
Mine has no brand name on box, just tag words for search/find. I like the quality

DIY dream project is a high pressure extract vessel, using liquid CO2. Something I can't buy?

High pressure liquid CO2 extraction, would be so fucking incredible in October. If somebody actually came up with that, I'd actually spend the big name brand bucks. With something along those lines, plus the spin pro, I could actually enjoy the start of Autumn....How much was that spin pro again?

It's been done but not really explained. Nobody will sell a reaction vessel for this purpose because of liabiliy.
One must buy gear that's made/marketed for a different but similar purpose. Or DIY... be careful.
Other solvents excepting ethanol need be removed with vacuum, in a bell jar. If you don't know, don't try.

I love October because that's when I may turn off my AC. Winter production, summer survival.
