Gator Uncaged

Translation: Your thread-pointer was pointing at a post which had been deleted.

I keep wondering, every time I run into that bug, if it only happens when the post in question was soft-deleted, or if it also happens when the post has been hard-deleted. And, if the latter, does the behavior continue after a database maintenance/purge?

No, I'm not on... forum software's... development team, lol. Just like to look for bugs and forward suggestions/observations when possible on the assumption that every "dead" bug is one less bug for a hacker to figure out a way to turn into some kind of security breach down the road. (I can't see this being anything of the sort, but you never know.)

Every time I pass through this journal I get the urge to try something vertical. Got a comparison experiment of sorts in mind. Maybe next winter.

Not true, there were two posts after QTL's post about "Talking about geometry is like speaking a foreign tongue. It is lost to me." One from @jonSmith, and the other from @Alaskan1 that were on page 25 that I could not get to. I got the email about their posts, but could only see down to QTL, and nothing after. When I set it for a set number of posts per page, I could then see the two other posts.

Guess I've been away for a while... getting caught up. :thumb:
Best trimmers I ever had were from the garment industry. Stainless steel I think. Never rusted/corroded or even pitted from the THC. About 4" long or so, ring for a finger partway back, real short blades. Went inside your closed hand, you didn't hold them you wore them. Squeeze hand to snip instead of a couple fingers. No force required, made for the poor schmucks that had to use them for 8-12 hours/day. Spring back open every time (until they got too covered in goodness, lol). Sharp enough to cut a thought in half. Miss them. Best I had for detail work. By the time I noticed my hands (worked with either one fine) were getting rather sore, the sun was coming up anyway.

I found a few on here I wanted to try... It sounds like one of these may be close to what you were describing:

Embroidery Supplies: Golden Eagle Deluxe Embroidery Thread Clip TC800 Nippers - AllStitch Embroidery Supplies

:Namaste:

Thanks brother! I'm stepping lightly!

It looked like the $6 one in the related items on the bottom could be the solid stainless steel ones TS was talking about... Either way I like to have a few pairs. When they get really gunked up, I chuck them into a glass of alcohol and grab the next pair. I don't like to stop if I don't have to...helps me stay in the zone! :grinjoint:

Hi P-Gator,

"You can always drop the class if you don't like the professor":rofl: You are sooo funny

Your girls look great! Loved the pics of all the new babies.

:Namaste:

Nice link, lovely looking scissor for $2.25
Blades appear removable, for cleaning :bong:
And BTW: Don't enter the Gator cage unless you bring lunch. Just sayin...

It's fun that bringing food makes almost anyone universally "okay". Tricks of the trade ;)

When I was in training to become a flute technician, I was told that the only way to get mandrels made without dropping the cash on an expensive machining lathe... Is to go in the back of a machining shop with food for the machinists around closing. Then ask who would like to make some money on the side :)

SoG, yes indeed. I'll have Propa Gator's interpretation up in 2 weeks.

I'm flattered to be credited with the optional attendance quip, but that's Vapedogg's. I too, laughed.
Like baby photos? For you, more to come ;)

Yesser, food makes friends. Better than beer, or even a joint most times, but...
Bringing food to a gator cage need be no more complicated than showing up at a 'come as you are' party ;)
wow....just WOW, some ppl seem to be playing with a few short of a deck! my southern fried grandmother was a stickler for manners and etiquette, drilled into my head for 2 decades to be nice and considerate untill its time to not be, i listened , and im annoyed even with my patience , for a minute it felt like deja vu every where i went, i did my best to offer my perspective, im gonna have to get some of those scissors! :thumb:
I've had to figure etiquette in many diverse circles throughout my interesting life. Golden rule usually works, but sometimes you must do it first. Here on 420, anybody can take a shot, but... they may not have the last.

Great news, BID: Tonight I was offered a JD 600 to demo in this grow journal. When the one they're expecting to be returned gets to them, they'll 'process' it to me. Probably your failed one :) I'm happy, they'll fix it propa and I'll be delighted to shine it on. They want it to be worked, talked about, and photographed. It's what I do :thumb:

lol i have pleased many with my kitchen skills with "chef" as one of my dreamed of lives, i have gone well above average with the ability to make most anything with my bid flair of decadence (did i hear boneless fried chicken hand beaten red potatoes, grilled butter soaked corn on the cob, fresh steamed green beans from my living room window sill , with fresh roasted/ground espresso / cappuccino and my homemade pecan pie w/hand formed butter crust topped with fresh whipped cream?? no problem a few hours is all i need!! :high-five::thumb::circle-of-love:

Didn't you say that it felt like deja vu before?

Ah, so we shouldn't pre-marinade ourselves before coming over. Looks like not everyone gets outta this party!

I'm much to skinny, so I think I'm safe.

Even the tough, stringy ones make good jerky...
