Gardenfaerie Outdoor Organic Summer 2014 Flux and LST in Ground

There is a trellis where the pot is growing which has Moonflower, Morning Glory, Mina Lobata. It is in full sun where it sits and wilts to death every day, then when the sun goes down POOM, back fully turgid again. Interesting that all three plants behave this way.

Caught up and its amazing...no matter what u may think GF, you do actually know how to grow weed properly!

Its all a science and its all one big learning curve that is never finished :circle-of-love:

Good afternoon, Les. How is everything in your part of the world, today?

It is overcast with some rain drops, not many. It is a polar vortex. That means it will only be 99 today. Brrr.

Still morning here (11 AM), it rained a bit last night. Cat slept next to the plants, been 80%+ RH for 3 weeks now. Hot and Humid everyday, and no sign of letting up. Since we're about 500 yards from the crashing surf it stays a lot cooler so its in 70-80 degree range..Cloudy all day for the past couple days..

So we have had strikingly similar weather to what sounds like you're having, and typical Florida/Seattle weather.. just not with the 100 degree factor, ugh, we would die if we had that heat, we don't even have central A/C. The Ocean is our A/C :surf:

Wherever we move, I hope it to be a place where I can sleep with windows open at night in the summer with a fan. I do remember being hot at night growing up in Brooklyn, but only a few nights a summer.

My mom sent me some photos of her house the other day. As much work as that place is, it did look good. I just don't know about those real estate taxes out on eastern Long Island. She pays way more than I want to pay in our retirement, but oooh it is so nice right on the ocean with an estuary off to the west of her where they put Osprey boxes and where the turtles lay eggs in her sand by the back of the house. Just incredible.

Her house has a separate 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. She wants us to move back up. I'm just not sure. That's a big deal. Too much thinking...

Rent on a second house pays a lot of property tax, especially if the house comes without a mortgage.
You'd be leaving behind a garden you love.
I miss my Arizona landscaping more than I expected, but I don't want to go back there :) !

My moms house is free and clear, we owe a little left on our house. Not much. We're doing okay. Not wealthy, but will be okay when the time comes. Live easy, meager and within our means and life is good my friends.

Truth be told, if I could live anywhere with no budget, it would be N. California near Santa Cruz or Soquel...Since that will never happen, anywhere in the PNW would be nice, temperate and we've also considered Canada up on the PWN, but that is very expensive, also.

We talked about Belize 15 years ago and maybe we should have done something then because land is astronomical down there now. And shoddy. Eh. Who knows. So many ideas and opportunities yet to come. I feel so fortunate and so very grateful for everything I have. Every breath.

Best of budladen days to you GF! :) May your new and present green ventures bestow brilliantly bejewelled bonkers batts of brain blamminng buds!

Sometimes I wonder if LA is the same lead character in the movie V for Vendetta. Awash in aliteration affectionately, arguably an active assistant in assasinating assholism, actually. So kind is he.

Anyhow. I live 28 foot above sea level its nice but id prefer mountains, no tidal surge thats growing higher by the year it seems. Last full moon flooded the road parallel to the water. Hadn't seen that before. Id rent it out now but uh, got a garden to see through. Wink.

It's not a joke! True story about LA. Ask Oz, he has the proof...

LAUGH MAD OUT LOUD!

No, no, no... It wasn't OZ and LA in a Porno together! :laughtwo::laughtwo: I believe Oz has a copy of the Porno LA starred in.

I'm still dying laughing... :biglaugh:
