Gardenfaerie Auto Fem - CFL to Greenhouse

Not much happening in the growing department. Things are sort of on auto-pilot with some feeding and checking now and then. Here are some photos of what they're doing. They look a lot like they did last batch of photos!

And...............STILL NO SEEDS! But some update photos of both greenhouse grow and what I prepared for outside so far. Not much.

This little garden bed is very well stealth from eyes and smells (I'll see what happens when I grow full size plants) and I can grow 3 in the ground, 2 in containers. To see how well my soil supplies the plants with what they need I do plan to put the same strain both in the ground and one in a container. Two strains this time. More when I plant, but I think I have to wait till March 5 to notify Herbie's about the lack of seeds. I hope they just arrive Monday and I don't have to go through all that crap.

Have a beautiful day...

Hi G.F...beautiful frosty girls you have there :) How much longer do you plan before chop? My autos were bang on 11 weeks from seed to weed.......total couch lock so a touch heavy for me :) Looking great for your future grows too. Again.....impressed am I :)

Thank you, loove! The four larger plants germinated Dec. 16 and the other three a month later. There have definitely been some set backs with these autos from me moving them to the greenhouse too early, then I didn't have a timer originally so I'd forget to turn the lights on or off...I'm thinking it should be no more than two weeks. They are still clear and I would like some to be amber before cutting.

One of the reasons I want my seed to get here is so I can grow with LA when he starts. I can latch onto his nute program and soak up the knowledge! It's supposed to get cold again tonight to 40F and stay that way a bit. But, not too bad and the heater really warms up the greenhouse very nicely.

:) :circle-of-love: You'll do great...honest :) Who have you ordered the beans from? Herbies are usually VERY reliable and prompt. LA is fantastic as a tutor/mentor. He leaves very little to chance and, if you have the time, copying his methods is VERY beneficial :)
I was lucky with my autos. They were a total after thought to fill some space really but I learnt so from them regards chop and trim. I should really have hit 3 oz a plant but I over trimmed and rushed the dry (inadvertently) .....lessons learnt for my big girls :)

This is my second batch of Herbie's. I bought the autos from them. If I count the business days, it is 11 if you count today because it is a mail day. I'll give it till they say, March whatever. They'll make good one way or the other.

I am going to go back and look at your journal again, but tell me, you fluxed the autos? The only thing I did with mine was to spread the branches out for the light to get into the center. I will be happy to get one ounce dry! It may be more, but if I can get that I'll be happy.
I'm not AS desperate as I was. I didn't known where to get any weed around here. I'm an old broad, who do I know? So I got afraid when I was running out of my last summer grow (which I didn't post anywhere because I didn't even know about forums!). I got so freaked that I'd run out, I went up to the local pipe/paraphernalia shop and simply asked the guy with tears in my eyes if he knew where I could buy some. That night he brought me and I got an ounce. I smoke about one joint a day. So not too much. But now that I have it and know the relief I get without prescription drugs, I cannot turn back. I won't.

I'm experimenting on an auto (just micro topped it) which I'll flux but I didn't flux my auto run. I literally let them grow as they wanted. I did micro top one and kept a level canopy because LA asked me to....that was the best yielder....hence this experiment :)
I'm lucky I guess, I've started getting bad back pains this last 18 months and I've had my left knee rebuilt twice (old rugby injury) so as age kicks in I get a little more "sore". I'm not a big user (a j or two a week) but my goal is to grow a strain that suits my needs. A nice mellow chill with pain relief :) My best mate has MS.....had it for years now...it really upset me seeing him in a wheelchair and house bound. I'd love to help him too....if I convince to try it :)

Yeah, I was pretty hard to convince! But, once I tried it, that was it. I also have the rebuilt knee, needing it replaced again and the other one too! I won't be cleared for those big surgeries, though. I'm sort of glad. It's enough already.

So how's your lady? I hope the infection is clearing up. Did they have to go in and clean her elbow up, I&D they call it.

It's cool to see how much your yard has woken up since you last posted pictures of it two weeks ago! I hope you keep posting them so I can watch the full transformation into the green jungle :)

If nobody at the powers that be minds, I will be happy to post photos. I can also upload from last year. Every year my yard is different. My garden was also featured on a show on television. It's a certified wildlife habitat and nothing was here when I moved in. One Mesquite tree. Hint.

I am trying to get my back to look something like that but it may take me the next 10 years......... It is amazing and you should have a wonderful garden. Your girls look very frosty and it won't be long. Did you ever get your seeds? Sorry got tired of reading. I like to look at pretty pictures... Hope your feeling better today...:circle-of-love:

Nope, no seeds yet. And Dennise, I've been living here and working for 15 years on this yard, so it does take a very long time. If I have time, maybe I will do an OT Journal showing when I bought the house and how everything got built up, etc. If people are interested. I wish I could just give out my youtube thing, but it has TMI on it. I did think of maybe starting a new youtube channel just for the grow.

I have a Birdcam Camera which takes video and still photos, it can be set to take one photo at the exact same time every day to create a time lapse. I'm definitely doing that with this outdoor grow. I'll also see if any mammal or marsupial critters bother the plants at night. It has motion detection and a flash for night. I have 4 racoons back there at night, that I know of for sure. I have tons of video of them swinging from the bird feeders!

I do feel better, thank you. I'm staying stoned today. My version of a spa day.

how far along in bloom is she?

About 33 days. They are autos which had some setbacks due to temperature issues. They are very sticky and have nice fragrance when I enter the ghouse in the morning. I took a video and got a new youtube account to post it.

On some of the growing tips of the foliage there is some browning. I am no expert on the fuss of cannabis and to be honest, I am rather surprised at how fussy it is when it comes to nutrients. Growing in the ground is going to be better. There is a lot of horticultural science behind this specific plant and its cultivation.

Hi GF....fantastic pics :) VERY, VERY frosty. :) yep, a few milky bits there too :) Another week and the amber will start to "glow" :)
