I agree with you. I think I will sit down tonight with my new pad and pencil and plan which will grow where. I was reading about the controversy around the White Widow strain. I don't know from whom this one comes, but I think both strains called White Widow are beautiful. Herbie's is a good seed provider. I had them shipped stealth and they put the seeds in bags and put those into little glass beads. So, I'm going to make a bead bracelet with the beads! I'm so gay. Such a girl.

No matter how long you stay away from new york another New Yorker can always pick-up on it when you speak. Brooklyn, I have friends that's been in the south for over 20 yrs & even though they have a southern accent now you can still tell by the way the speak that it's not their home.

If nobody at the powers that be minds, I will be happy to post photos. I can also upload from last year. Every year my yard is different. My garden was also featured on a show on television. It's a certified wildlife habitat and nothing was here when I moved in. One Mesquite tree. Hint.
Dammit! I've spent an inordinate amount of time trying to solve the puzzle.

Well, I'm a been here for over 20, but there is NO WAY I have a southern accent. Hahaha. My husband says it comes on much stronger when I'm talking to my mother or friends on the phone who still live in NY. There are not a lot of Noreasters living down here where I live, so when I run into someone at the store or if I hear that accent, it's ON. I told you I went to HS with Dice, right?

Him & The Road Runner. Still my favorites When Highly medicated. Me & my daughter can sit and watch them for an hour at a time. And mind you she's sober while this is going on, 13, and laughing just as hard as me.

How sweet. We just went two weekends ago to the 100th birthday celebration of Tex Avery. The theater was packed, standing only. Senators were there, etc. They made it Tex Avery Day and put a nice historical marker in the center of town. It was a nice day. My husband DVRs the cartoons every day on some channel. They show the old shorts and now and again you catch one which was banned because they use terms like, "Japs, Gooks..." etc. Horrible, but we were at war. Tex was brilliant.

Tex who? When it comes to the Tunes I'm all about Chuck.

Well, of course there would be nothing without the whole package, but really the inventor of the basic element, (being) the anti-Disney style of animation. Tex always pushed the edge with the violence, cross dressing, sex pots in the cartoons! But you are right, no Chuck Jones, no Tex Avery. Not in the same way.

Ya. Chuck was friends with a funny successful artist. The funny artist was a friend of mine's father. I had a restaurant right up the street from one of Chuck's galleries that his daughter opened selling celluloids and stills. Chuck was a great example of an incredible person you would never know was famous. What a nut!

I do love every interview he's done. Very gritty and I love his demeanor and great voice.

Hello again! This is the beginning of a journal about my, what else, growing!
I am a medical user for pain, insomnia. I will be posting photos and growing evidence!

Strain: Buddha Assorted Auto

White Dwarf
Red Dwarf
Deimos
Syrup

I ordered these seeds before I started really reading up on things, but it will be okay as long as I can harvest some which will be effective.

Soil mix: 1 part each - perlite/coco fiber/peat moss. No nutrients.
Light: CFLs 18/6
Indoor
Nute: Veg. Fox Farm Grow Big
Nute: Flower Hasta Gro by Medina 6-12-6 with micronutrients
Mychorriza: added into water
Water: Rainwater only

The minute this frigid front passes by these plants are all going back out into the greenhouse. We had a very unusual rash of very cold weather. I am on the same latitude with New Orleans, so our light is brighter and for longer, even in winter. The greenhouse is 10' x 20' and inside that is a smaller portable greenhouse so I can keep it very warm at night. It also maintains humidity better than if I only used the bigger house. When the weather gets better I plan on using large grow bags and carrying on through the fall. I'd love to grow enough for a year if possible so I can relax and just keep a few plants going at all times. This is my ultimate goal.

I would love with all my being to be a pro grower, licensed. In other places I told people here about my pro growing greenhouse days, but in the bedding plant industry. I am a horticulturist. That doesn't mean anything when it comes to this very specialized type of growing.

We are growing a weed and cultivating it to an extremely technical degree to improve strength and vigor. I'm in awe of this whole movement and glad my old high school friends forced me to try it as they have. I am grateful for you all, your comments, help and friendship.

thanks so much

Belated :welcome: Gf! , hope you're liking this site! I just started reading your page one :goodjob:

nothing better than a horticulturist I can learn from! :passitleft: :circle-of-love:

I got 2 grows in outside last year, this year I'm on the right path for 3 or 4.
