Gardenfaerie Auto Fem - CFL to Greenhouse

Hi GF....great vid :) So much potential there.....here's what I'd do....empty your swimming pool of water, fill it with coco and build a poly tunnel over it and black it out from the inside. Add 20 odd 600w HPS. Then I'd do the BIGGEST Flux EVER.....12 months veg and BOOOOOOOOM! Budtastic :)

Okay, so say you and I get married. We dump the ones we have. Just saying. So, you move here cus now you're a citizen and we fill the pool, poly coat it, HPS saturate it, douse with the nutrition of your choice and flux yourself to oblivion. The way you and i smoke pot, if we did that, we'd have enough to get us through to the end of time and all our friends, to the end of time. Can you imagine 600 square feet of grow? That's the surface of the pool...which is heated, so we could plumb it up through the soil to heat the greenhouse. Hmmm. Will you marry me? Hahaha.

I'm so glad that you are not Monica in Michigan!!!

:circle-of-love:

Yeah, no! Hahaha. See what I did there? Yeah. Then, no. LOL Anyway, I am most definitely not Monica in Michigan. Though, we do like the Packers and Aaron Rogers is a hottie. I am so old, was the name Monica invented when I was born? Heehee.

No, not Colorspot. It was Ivy Acres Greenhouses in Calverton, NY. This was over 25 years ago. I started my career there and ended up a grower in a privately owned garden center where I grew most of their annuals, herbs and perennials from either seed or plugs. If I had a heat/light chamber, I would have started my own plug trays, but we were limited being so small. I really hated working at Ivy Acres. The Walmart of bedding plants. I have no idea what they're up to now, but they are still one of the largest providers of bedding plants to the entire northeast.

xcellent....all that experience gives tons of confidence....plants love confidence!

Hi Mrs GF :) How's our new "plant pot" ? I think that would be an EXCELLENT idea :)

I'm filling it in by hand. It's hard work. hahaha.. Speaking of plants, my Money Maker, Lemon Haze and Delicious Cotton Candy have germinated. Waiting for WW x BB to germinate now. I started two of those, also. I think I may have too many. I guess I should start my new journal, but I was waiting until the plants were bigger and in the ground outside. What's there to talk about before then, anyway?

How's Emma?

looking good! thanks for the video. that one plant that you think needs nitrogen is just over watered (I think). the sunlight goes right through those tents, or how does it work?

I have three plants in coir/perlite/peat moss. I never grow without using compost so I'm all screwed up with a dead soil in these pots. I am going to top dress with finished compost and water with tea and see what happens. I normally do not over water, but you may be right. I'm going out there right now. I'll take some photos. I know we all love photos. Maybe we can figure it out.

Lol....should have hired a dumper :) Emma is improving well thanks....still VERY tired and lethargic but I guess that's to be expected.
Too many plants? Is there such a thing? :) Me thinks not.....It's always easy to put one in a small pot and just "keep it alive" as a reserve. Then, if one goes bad......step up No1 reserve :)

if you notice she is droopy and sad. if you feel the leaves they will feel more soft and moist than the other plants.
