GaBoy's 2017 Outdoor Adventures

Great Day Ga!!! :passitleft:
The people I bought the hash smasher from sent an email asking how I liked it and I said ... no directions!!! They said utube it!! Will do soon but I need to research nute lock out for my clones and an RO system first. Ga you wash your harvest? Namaste

Thanks Rad! I had a feeling you'd also be excited about the Baby Blue.Dragon!

Dutch, lol that's actually pretty funny. It goes without saying their customer service sucks, but the fact that they actually told you to "YouTube it"....that's hilarious .. As far as nute lock-out, have you tried flushing your soil! That usually works pretty well at breaking up and flushing the salts and whatever may be built-up in the soil. I've never tried bud washing but have been doing some research on the subject as well as water curing. Think I might try both with small portions of my harvest this time to see what all the fuss is about. Though, from my understanding, both of these are really for people who use nutes, and are trying to remove any leftover chemicals from the buds. I don't use nutes, so not really sure if it's something I should even be worried about.

Water curing though. Apparently it dries, and cures faster and makes your bud more potent by drawing out all water soluble particles. You get lighter, less appealing visually, more potent bud that doesn't smell "traditional" when smoked, allowing you to smoke in public without being noticed. This concept interests me and will probably water cure a small batch of my grow.

Quick group Shot before I brought the girls inside before sunset. I actually FIM'd all but Baby Bordello last night. Want to encourage side shoot growth without sacrificing height at this point. Might end up needing to top one or 2 of them in the long run....but not today! .

They sure are! You are starting out the same way how the Mendo Boys I look up to and basically copy. Part one of how to grow mendo dope from seed on YouTube has more on that! They grow MONSTERS.

Oh yea, I've watched part 1, 2 and the harvest video. Love their stuff. Did you see that one sativa they had that was over I think 18ft tall?? Crazy! lol I hope I can replicate anything like what they have grown. Can't wait til the day I can actually try and grow something like that outside with no legal worry.

I havent had time to utube it yet. Ive got probably 2lbs of ground product in the freezer to dry ice but want to prep some more before I process to use up all the dry ice. Ive got much crap to hash and butter. I will need empty jars in May for the spring yard harvest and Im thinking getting on the hashing soon. Today Im flushing! Im flushing one that looks wrinkled the worst and shes not going back in the tent. Im thinking a Dark Heart clone will replace her.
Im thinking with the over watering in the begining, way root bound, poor drainage and soil nutes running out are a big factor to my nute lock out/problems but will flush and check today! I guess with my tap water running from 7.5-8.5 PHing is a must and have been doing it but im GREEN!!
Im glad your able to grow in your yard Ga!! I was so happy when I was finally able to!!!!! I hope they still let me. I feel its a God given right!! Your plants look wonderful Ga! Great Day!

Good afternoon everyone!

Quick group pic of the girls in the greenhouse. Couldn't help but snap this photo. They've been gaining some height since they've been getting sun daily. Left to right: Baby Bordello, TS1 Female, GDP. and Bordello:

TS1 looks ready to transplant.

You probably don't need to score the roots, but I'm sure she'd love a tbsp of Mycorrhizal powder scattered on the roots during transplant.

Lots of perlite in that mix. She could drink from a saucer :)

Thank you, and yes I'm using Mykos. I put that shit on everything! Yea, think I'm going to transplant her so she can thrive and give her a GREAT root ball to go into the ground with. Just finished washing my fabric pots with HOT water and some Dawn. They're currently in the dryer. Haven't used them since last summer and oddly, I found a good bit of black dye came out in the wash, so I feel that was a great idea on my behalf.

TS1 is pretty dry (as you can see in the pics from earlier today) but she's still not wilting at all! Think I'm going to transplant her, but not water her just yet...what do you all think? Should I give her a bit after transplant to help her get acclimated to the new pot! Can't make up my mind and I know it shouldn't be that hard lol.

Yeaaaa, going for it. She's getting dressed as I type lol. Been a bit rough with her, but hey, that builds touch character, stems...and BUDS! My soil is actually pretty cool to the touch but the purified water is room temp so it should be cool. Think I'm going to "dunk" water her in the new fabric pot and lightly top water, just to get it even.

RISE UP! Tomorrow nights' the night! GO FALCONS .
