G-1-3 Grows With a Little Help From NASC

Wow. I see what you mean. They all look cloudy, and there is some amber in there as well. Do you have a loupe so that you can get another perspective? Or maybe even just with your phone? Does your digital scope have a light on it?

Also maybe try and focus on the trichs that are a little deeper in the flowers? It’s hard not to get sugar leaves, at least this is the issue I seem to have.

Ya I have to find the standard loupe or but another can't remember where I put it down at lol :lot-o-toke: .

Those amber trichomes are the ones right up top on the bud and it may just be those are getting hammered with light making them mature quicker. My ppfd was a little over 700 I think the last time I checked.

Tent last night.

I'm begining to see some new white pistils coming in but the trichomes are still more cloudy then clear even inside the buds. It has only been 25 days since puffballs. I can't believe that the trichomes are maturing so fast. I was figuring on 55 days minimum but I'm afraid in a month the whole plant will be amber.

It was a long day today and I wasn't paying attention and accidentally snapped a branch on Elsa. It was a smaller one but I was able to get a scope on it out of the tent and I found a ton of clear trichomes on the actual bud.

Tester time!
Lol it was slightly larger than I was planning but I'm glad I was able to see into the bud trichomes. I mean the outside sugar leaves are all mostly cloudy but inside that bud is 90% clear.

If you had a worm farm this would be way easier to live with🤣.

I mean I'm guna probably smoke the whole thing haha.

My birthday is this week and I think I'm in line for a gift to myself and a three tier worm farm is the front runner lol it's all a guy could ever want.

Well it's been almost a full week since my last photo update and things are moving along. Life kinda got in the way of growing and journaling but I'm back and the girls are still alive.

Elsa picked up some nutrient burn which was because I was trying to push her Brix numbers and overdid the calcium. I have lowered the VPD back down to 1.2 (this is with the leaf temp offset figured in). She got flushed and is being monitored to see if the burn continues to spread. The tester buds of hers is dry and it smoked nicely. The buzz is not quite there pretty racey and I figure couple of weeks more till she's ready.

Amelia is just doing her thing stacking and growing like a dream. She's probably going to be into December before she ready. Her frost is becoming more pronounced and she's picked up a pleasant earthy sweet smell.

I may have found the culprit as to why the hairs turned orange so fast on Elsa...

I only found one so far so maybe an isolated incident? Fingers crossed that this is just a self pollinated deal because I can't find balls or nanners anywhere. Could explain why she's trying to finish up so fast maybe, idk I'll read up on what happens after a plants pollinated.

Elsa, Brothers Grimm Cap Junky x Princess Haze

She's still full of calcium even after a flush and none for almost 2 weeks. She's showing some serious trichomes changes and I'm going to shoot for over 25% amber with her because of how racey her tester was.

Amelia, @North Atlantic Seed Co Private label, Bermuda Zour

She's really packing on the weight now as well as the frost. She's starting to lean and some of the smaller branches are getting heavy up top. She's just now starting to eat her lower leaves and is ready for her next meal. She also is ready for a dose of calcium as her Brix line is quite defined now. She's still got lots of growing left to do.

Oh shit!!
Thanks man! That's the best response a grower wants to hear hahaha

Honestly this may be some of the best quality buds I've grown but I believe I'm going to come in under my 1oz of bud per 1gallon of soil I've been trying to hit. Lol next grow I'm putting it all together yield and quality hand in hand.

You’ve definitely got it dialed in!!

Your going to have some great smoke for sure.

My last grow was by far my best grow, both quantity and quality, even as sideways as it went!

Your getting some red pistols there that’s for sure!!

Dude the ghosts had a hiccup and then took off! Those buds were massive lol.

I think I'm going away from the Scrog next grow and just using some good old fashion training. It's kinda a pain not being able to pull the plants out and trim.

Elsa is maturing quickly and she's really starting to eat her fans. It's about 20-30% amber, 60% cloudy and 10% clear. I'm thinking another week at least before she's ready. She's really starting to get some leaners and her burn has slowed/stopped so the buds are safe.

Amelia is just fattening up and putting in some weight. I'm glad I was able to get a clone of her to root because I think I may want to give her a non Scrog run. She's leaning heavily outward and I needed to tie up 4 buds to the corner post. She's also gotten a really nice stick to her like a thick paste when you brush against her.
