I'll be the first to admit my training and shaping leave a lot to be desired. Had I pruned more, tied more branches, added more support, I'm sure the damage would have been less. GASS has been leaning into the light that comes from the south. I had her tied up to one of the culls on her north to keep her more vertical. This wind gust came out of the south and blew the plants' tops north. Ya just never know...
The ONLY reason it wasn't worse is because of the four 8' stakes I have surrounding each of the plants. They've been wrapped with string, from post to post creating a cage. That held the majority of the plants up. The ones around the edges of the garden were also supported by the deer netting fence. The amazing thing is ZD, in the center with no other support, and the tallest, did OK. She got beat up a little, but the thinner-bladed leaves, bamboo-like stems, and no buds, all served her well last night.
The good news is, GG4 (my fav') seems to have weathered it well. It isn't heavy with buds yet. If I only manage to pull 10% of what's down there, I'll still have too much. I may just chop GASS and see if the wife wants to make a bunch of butter/oil/tincture from it. I'll see how it does over the next couple of days. I only gave her water this morning. I'm not gonna waste nute's on her if this is the end. It might be an unscheduled flush.
