Well three of the 4 are doing fine, and spent a few hours outside on the deck yesterday(too cold today) , the Critical Mass was apparently a dud. Still wasn't up today so I went digging and found an uncracked but pretty soggy seed. Not sure if it was no good or my soil was too wet but pretty sure it was the same as the others. Why did I only buy one seed of a strain anyways? Was looking forward to it! Ah well, the reserves have been called in and a Cream Mandarine XL has taken her place.. Which brings up the next issue of the Cream Mandarine I had running in the tent. I think it's safe to say I've murdered my first cannabis plant. Well other than at harvest time hehe. Here she be..
She is in a 1
1 mix of promix hp, promix organic veg and herb and another brand nature's care which is supposedly a decent "organic" potting mix. I had given her a light dose of the veg nutes from the go box and it was downhill from there. Must be over fed or locked out I guess due to not knowing the content of the soil(s). Being in such a small container is probably not the best thing either. I should have just let her go as she was doing fine before I poisoned her. So now these new girls are in the same mix in their solo cups and I am debating using it again when I up pot and no nutes unless it's very clearly needed OR switching to straight promix hp, picked up a couple more bags yesterday just in case. The replacement Cream Mandarine is in straight hp so I will have at least one running that way. Fun stuff, another experiment. Also I ordered up a new ph meter and calibration stuff since my old one is all over the place.. Should be here tomorrow.
