Day 21 of flower

I got M/P/B2 and the Zkittlez trimmed up. I concentrated primarily on the larf and took most of it out of both of them. I feel comfortable I left enough on to see them through. If something goes wrong, I’m going to need some leaf left on, but I am getting more bold and taking more off each time I do it.

I have some brown edges. It’s on older leaves and not on the entire plant. I got a little on both hybrids. The Sativas are still completely unblemished. This being the case I’m thinking a K issue. Either PH * heat or hunger. I’m hoping the tea corrects it. Any suggestions?

Good morning. The girls all got their tea and they loved it. I think the lack of humidity and the heat may be causing them to burn through potassium. It’s been super cold out and it’s been a struggle keeping the humidity out of the 20’s but there’s not much I can do about it. They were extremely dry and the big girls took 2 gallons with minimal run off. I left them all in a nice puddle to syphon off.
I think the Sativa’s are finally slowing down. Neville’s only gained a half inch last night, thank god.

I rearranged the plants to give my hybrid’s better light. Little Neville’s was getting pushed out the door so I stuffed her against the rail with her sisters.

This branch belongs to Neville’s. She’s determined to take over the entire room.

I put the red light on in the clone tent yesterday. There’s no reason not to run it with the blue and the plants seem to like it. It only raises the temp a couple degrees.

When I get tips like that I think too much of something in the npk area. LOS can over do it somehow though not easy. Just a thought. Ok I see you mentioned what I was thinking in your next post.

Hey Otter, it still could be. Little Neville’s lowers look like they need K so I gave her a shot off Terpinator. We’ll see what happens. I held off on the hybrids because they look a little better. Could be just too hot and dry, not watering enough…

Day 24 of flower

I’m starting to wonder if I’m ever going to prune these things. They won’t stop stretching, maybe they won’t, I’ve heard some don’t.

Looks great in there, and feel free to fold one as a test to see what happens!
Thanks Shed that’s a great idea! I’ll probably end up doing it anyway. Right now I got 56000 lux at the center and like 45000 or a little less in the corners. At some point I want to max out the lights for better penetration and coverage, can’t do that if they keep growing. Might as well test it. How many branches are safe to do at once?

I haven't seen any hermies from supercropping (it happens in nature), but you can just do the two in the corner.
It’ll probably end up taking more than that to get the light even. We’ll see how big they are tomorrow lol.

Day 25 of flower

Good morning. I was happy to see that the stretch looks to be over. They look about in the same place as yesterday and have only grown 1.25 inches in the past 4 days. Maybe tomorrow, if they’re the same, I’ll super crop everything necessary and adjust the lights in their final place. Right now it’s not too bad, could almost leave it.

I’d like to leave the branch I’ve been measuring as is, depends on the light level when I do the rest. It’ll be the last one I do if I have too. A 3 foot Neville’s Haze cola sounds kinda cool.

Now next question, do I do all this before, after or at the same time as cleaning up under the net? I’m thinking I’ll probably clean up the bottoms tomorrow, we’re past week 3.

I just noticed this today. Good comparison buds. Malawi/Panama on the left, Neville’s Haze on the right.

We have a warm rainy day here in Michigan so I took advantage. I’ve been waiting for a day like this to use the rain water when I turn my soil. There’s magical shxt in rain water. A buddy once kept 4 plants outside all summer on nothing but promix and rain water. He kept waiting for a deficiency that never came.

When I opened the bin I saw exactly what I was hoping for. Little outposts already being setup for the soil food webs army. That’s a very good sign the mix is good.

Day 26 of flower

Alright finally got the Sativas pruned. I took off quite a bit and they did not like it at all. They laid right down. So I hung a couple wires and straightened them back up. Not pretty but it’ll do. They drank a lot of water, just over 2 gallons each.
