From Blurples To 29 DIY Cob's - Cannabeard's 1st Journal

Telling someone else this on here before. Had this lemon larry one time that just kept going. It'd probably still be going today. Month after it's due date, and those just kept stacking on the trichomes. It got to about where your at, but just kept putting more on. Stayed the same milky and amber even to the day I just had to get rid of it to get it out of the way.

Here is most of the veg side, all the 5 gals anyway.

All the autos are under 1 panel, the other 2 are all over the vegged plants, a few autos have made their way over there for space reasons.

I noticed with the White Widow and Gorilla Glue Autos that they seem to cut themselves off of nutes. I never realised when people said they stop in taking nutes meant you'd have a visual que, so on that note I now have 4 autos in the flush cycle. That should put a dent in the lack of space with the vegged plants being so massive.

The biggest Blue Dream auto has beefed up.

The one that had Calmag issues not so much.

Gorilla Glue Auto

Those COBs are doing a great job. I need to switch out my burples
I have no complaints, I had my doubts in the beginning but that was due to a error on my part.

They've been killing it ever since tho.

I just pulled off a White Widow Auto lastnight and the buds are pretty impressive.

The Gorilla Glue has a few monster's on it too, especially the 2 buds I tried back building on. I think it's more than a myth.

And the last Blue Dream Auto has the biggest buds of all the other BDA I grew with it.

I'll get some pictures tonight.

Damn canna, they are looking great .. I bet your glad you found that glitch early in your pot. 30 watts wouldn't have done that lol. I need to cut mine too, all but one is ready.
Hell yeah!

I just pulled the Gorilla Glue and last Blue Dream Auto lastnight and switched the light to 12/12 so things will be pumping in the next couple weeks.

I have about 5 other autos but stopped my weekly ritual of planting a new one since I hear they don't grow the best under 12/12 but should give me a bit of smoke until all my photos are ready.

2 massive Blue Dreams, 1 massive and 1 large Critical Kush, 1 massive White Shark aka Peacemaker, 1 large MK Ultra that should get massive since I just switched it to a 5 gal, 1 Sour Ripper med bush, 1 Blueberry Headband x SCBD med bush, and 1 limited edition Super Skunk Big Bud CBD med bush.

Still only running 3 panels but I should be good on canopy space now that I've thinned out the autos and tonight I'll be getting the clones out of there.

Canna and Buck I got a question for you fellas. I am definitely going cobs for my next setup. Also upgrading from blurplemars, I was looking at Rapid LED, great website that just waiting on more prices. Have you looked into the different CRI outputs and such? Had a discussion with Bedroom Farmer and he mentioned 90 is better than 80, even though the lumens loss is more but it produces thicker and denser buds. What is your take on this?

Don't mean to be a jerk. But we were just talking about that here...

I have 8 90 Cri 1750's in the mix, I'm not sure how much they add to the panels but I'm confident they're just as good.

I'm still pretty new to this but I'll be able to tell you in a few months since I have 1 4000k 80 cri panel and 2 4000k 80 cri/3500k 80 cri/1750k 90 cri panels. So that should give a good comparison since I have a Critical Kush and a Blue Dream under the different panels.

This is a few days old but we're almost 2 weeks into the flip then the real countdown starts.

Everything has stretched quite a bit, almost seems more so under the 4000k but everything is showing sex now with the Sour Ripper being the first to bud.

I've gave them all the last feeding of Veg mix which was a weaker solution since the feeding beforehand was heavy.

Should be start them all on Bloom formula this weekend.

I will snap more pictures tonight but most plants measure at about 2' tall and the blue dreams are about 3' wide.

I will start to separate the tops best I can to maximize canopy space but without the 4th panel in there there's a bit of a fight for space atm.

@Pat999 - Here's a pic of a RapidLED setup I got mid July... 12x Cree DIY with their canopy substrate. Thought I'd share.
