Would it be ok to cut of the buds that are ready (the top ones) and leave the lower ones that are still developing?

sure... that is a good way to figure out how much amber you like, too

I only cut of that one bud because it was the only one that didn't have new pistols and I saw some slightly amber trichomes.

I'm worried about this brown shit that's been lingering and slightly moving towards the bud on 2 colas. Here is one. Should I cut them down even though they have some pistols still maturing?
