Affected leaves are middle-ish leaves but now you mention it, I will double check tonight. I also remember only seeing this on two plants I think; I will double check that too. I was worried about the light height at last up can, but have had no other indicators.. Those charts show that colouring as also maybe nitrogen def.,
sulphur def.; my eyes aren't what they used to be, and I rarely, stubbornly, wear my glasses. I don't care what they look like; I always had shit-hot eyesight, and losing it proves I'm getting old. Which sucks.
Anyway, I don't trust the charts completely..

You can just by laminate sheets that are sticky. Don't need heat. It's like clear tape but in sheets. More sturdy than tape. I'm going off of memory on this. Lol. It's been some years since I've seen it used.

Have you been giving them calmag? We give it with feedings and can be used as a foliar feedings if you aren't ready to water.

CannaM; I don't have calmag! But I did a top-dress with some lime, gypsum, epsom, ewc and some other goodies, which I also used to brew into a little tea and watered all that in...
Blaze; on further inspection, the dis-coulouration only seems to affect the the 2 plants so far, the ATOM and the SOG but on the ATOM, it is def. one of the top leaf sets, where on the SOG it's a lower set..
I've moved the light higher on Blazes advice; the plants had grown about 100mm over the last few days without me noticing; the light was only about 200mm away from the tallest plant. That's about 8 inches, so maybe it was pushing it! That light is good and strong, so I have no problem accepting that it could be responsible for the colouring of these leaves, esp. seeing how close it turned out to be..
Would take the blame from my soil, too, conveniently, so thanks, TheBlaze, for making me think past the first possible solution!
Funny how the stress builds up in your mind over a few hours but woke up and went straight down to check before lights out and the dis-colouration, whatever the cause, is almost invisible under normal light..
The LED really brings it out and makes it look worse, so this morning I'm back to my default -'Meh'- attitude; that is until about an hour before lights on when in my mind every leaf will be blackening, and male organs will start appearing like popcorn on every square mm.....
Then I open the door (cue squeaky-door-noises and Hitchcocks 'Psycho' shower scene high-pitch violin track)......

Should be in full swing at the two week mark, which is good. Can't wait!!! Call me old-fashioned, but the prospect of a nice bunch of flowers from his four sweethearts really makes a blokes heart skip a beat...

Hey Santb i enjoyed reading and catching up here nice work on your cab . Girls are looking good! I saw your post on vlads journal i dont think you should trim anything at this stage. Ive done that and shocked /stalled them.. If you were to remove any lower limbs i would wait untill after the visable transition to flower some say at 21days as a bench mark but i find that different with strains and even pheno's most journals i followed with any defol comparison came to the conclusion that less is more, jojo had a good one with 2lt hempy's.. unless flux or mainlining but then where talking months veg.

Sorry off topic... I was in target yesterday, looking at DVDs. Had a sale on some old ones. Was a few people around.. I casually asked my four year old, " you seen psycho?" The reactions, love that shit, such a basic sense of humour, lol...

Yeah, that's kinda my style too Grizz.. Shock and awe..! I have this cute little 18 month old niece; I like to make her shadow box. She's so sweet that it looks weird for her to be punching. People always give me a disapproving look.. Plus I shake her in public too.
Ahh; not a violent "abuse" shake, but a fast genltle shake; she starts vibrating and giggling and screeching her head off. Lots of annoying noises in a supermarket or whatever..

Sometimes its tough to diagnose a problem. Those charts can be confusing. Probably just best to go with your gut, as no one knows your ladies better than you do. Besides, it doesn't look to be a serious problem anyway.

Yeah, if it isn't the light, the a bit of cal/mag issue is normal so maybe I go buy some just in case. Been meaning to anyway. Better to have it and not need it.....

Calmag issues are common enough. Not sure how I managed my first few grows without it.
Calmag is cheap as chips though, and hard to give too much calmag. So toxicity is not much of a problem either. Always good to have on hand. I give calmag every 4 days from about 3 weeks veg right up to the end.

Yeah it's on the list!! They don't have any at my local Bunnings' (<plural. I have 2 within 10 minute drive!), but where I get my coco is a decently priced hydro shop.. I'll have to stop in this week and get some.

I call it "The Shakedown". I also get her flat on the couch; can shake much harder (it's easier and safer). She loves it.. Hysterical screeching and laughing. So cute. Then I hand her back to my sister just as she's about to throw up.... ! Other peoples babies are a LOT of fun.

Fez! Good to see ya, mate. Yes; that GTH.. She's a beauty.. And the SOG. Both are miles ahead considering they were only above ground a couple days ahead of the other 2.. Very vigorous! Was just looking at them now; I reckon they'd be about 300mm high. If they were untrained and un-topped, they be about 2 ft tall. And, no; that's not including the pot! They'd do well outdoors.. And stretch ain't over by the looks. Rare Dankness are impressive so far. If the smoke is half as good as it's s'posed to be, I'll be getting more...
Speaking of looking, I've got a few more photos; just general shots of the cab at lights on, Day 11... As said, spot the RD plants in each corner. The tall ones. You can barely spot my leaf discolouration, in the flash, so feeling good about that. Space is tight; when flowers are set, I will strip the ones in the dark or that will be small, and maybe set up a 'tomato ring' sorta dealy to trellis the branches into a more compact shape. The light seems to hit the walls a couple inches down so coverage not a problem.. I still have heaps of height available so it's just the depth/width. Note to self: Only 3 large plants next time..
Otherwise, all is well.
