I have tp admit, I never thought of it as potentially harmful.. Copper carries drinking water, so I assumed it would be fine..I did a quick bit of research, and it seems it's the green patina at the start of oxidization that's the problem. None of my hooks are oxidizing; I change them around pretty regular, and they don't get a chance to sit and rot.. None the less, I mite make sure they're gone flowering officially kicks in, just to be safe. The hooks are just too convenient to discontinue, though, so I may get a bunch and seal them some how with paint or rubber.... Cheers for the heads up.
Cheers, Jayne; I've trained almost every plant I've grown (so, you know, like maybe 12 plants..) with varying aggression; they've all turned out fine. MJ definitely likes LST!!
Cheers, Blaze! Yeah they are not TOO green. As mentioned above, I was really hoping this soil would hold up.. But, given a "handful" is my personal Standard Unit of Measurement, I was worried about toxicity also of course.. I have a couple of odd looking leaves here and there but otherwise nothing at all so far that would suggest any kind of toxicity or deficiency... Yeah they still look great and I'm pretty happy. I had one photo that was a bit too blurry; made the plants look as if they were covered in fat buds.. Did a double-take. Was like the Ghosts of Harvest Future.. Should've uploaded it. So, yeah, seeing buds in my sleep already....!
