Plants look luscious bud. Even the atomic you are complaining about looks good to me. I don't use gogo juice. I use a product call EM-pro soil but it's basically the same thing. Which reminds me, I need to get some more.

For now, i'm sticking to the hooks. I will try my cages next time; which will be 2-3 stakes in the soil in a triangle and some copper wire in a circle so I can tie branches downwards AND outwards.. Although I confess to being a bit concerned about the the copper oxidizing in the soil (Simpsons joke: when Ms Hoover thinks she has Lyme disease, she explains to the kids that "..If a disease is in all the magazines, and on all the TV shows, then it's only natural to think you have it.."; or something like that) I have seen no signs of that happening. I have read that a bit of copper wire in the soil IS GOOD; so many theories about EVERYTHING. I've seen people (you included, I think) also use safety pins to hold the string. That's a good idea too! But I'd like to be able "form" the shape of the plant, If you follow.. Might need two rings..
Yes. Public reactions. I dream of teaching my niece to be "strangled" a'la Bart Simpson (Yes I've been watching the Simpsons since they were just little cartoons before movies on VHS rental movies.. We never got The Tracey Ullman Show but I'm a genuine fan since 1989/90... Best show ever written.. With the possible exception of the Sopranos and Band of Brothers, maybe); obviously not actual strangling; just enough to get some PC Soccer Mom to show some concern, then my niece would go "Ha Ha mind your own business" and laugh..

I use cut plastic coated coat hangers and bend them as needed. Works great!
For the cloth pots, you can use safety pins on the outside to hook your LST sections to (pipe cleaners, etc.), just move them where you need them. Cheap as chips. LOL

OK a few more photos from this morning.. I realised that I forgot to turn the 'Bloom' switch on before I closed the cab last night.. No biggie, just no red spec. for 12 hrs.. I turn it off if I'm playing around cos the blurple light can easily be seen from outside my house at night.. The downstairs garage where the cab is is not sealed and makes me nervous. I'm pretty good on the security side but one day someone in the know might drive past or whatever and think "That's a grow light!!". That would be the only reason the cops would show up, so I try to not have the doors open for too long when the lights are on..
Blaze, I think I might be getting "Weaselcrackers Syndrome", where I see the plants in a much worse light, so to speak.. And I'm not fishing for compliments!! The Atomic really does look worse in person but, yeah; it's not that bad.. The discolouration is not catastrophic, and seems to be getting no worse..
Flowers def. look a bit bigger this morning, if only a touch, so I am happy that my additives had no negative impact. At least, not so far..
Can't wait for bud shots...
That last shot; you can see the purple stripes on the GTH. Looks awesome! SOG has a bit of it too.
I also raised the light another 100mm last night just to ensure front to back coverage.. The girls have grown quite a bit. Since flip, or just before, I reckon they've doubled. GTH (which has easily doubled) might have a bit more to go but for the most part it feels like they're settling in now for the home straight.
Light is now back at 300mm above the tallest (about 12"). I don't wanna move it again; we'll see how tall the GTH gets. Without training she'd be at least 2 ft tall from top of pot. I reckon she will indeed triple. Maybe I can hang the light on an angle if it gets too high for the rest....

OK just a quick update...
In just 24 hrs, we've got plenty action, with flowering in full swing! Excited to think what they will look like in another week.. I'll try to get more (labeled) closeups as flowering progresses.. As I'm sure most of you know, it's hard to take landscape pics with a smart-phone with one hand, in the relative dark, trying to keep it steady... Gotta get a cheap real camera for this.. I have a good old DSLR but it's too much hassle at the mo'. But I plan on getting some good macro shots when the buds are done, assuming the are macro lens-worthy!
No sign of trichs yet, by the way, apart from some REEEAAALLY tiny ones starting to form...at least, I think that's what they are...
But not too worried about that yet. Plenty of time. Although nowhere near "stinky" yet, the girls have been wearing a very subtle "WEED" scent for weeks that is only getting less subtle. Could be a problem. We'll see.
The space between the nodes is looking smaller already! I forgot my lighter; my hands are probably average bloke-size, maybe bit bigger.. I'm already seeing a huge bud in that hand in a future photo!!!!

Ask any questions you want. It's a basic sketch; I think I threw out the original drawings... They were a bit more detailed (but messier).
The top (air out) and bottom (false floor for air in) are approx 100mm high. I was originally gonna fill up the top with carbon but once finished I realised this was a bit unrealistic.. Carbon is expensive here and I would have needed heaps! Plus channeling air through it properly would've been harder than I originally thought... Eventually I'll have to delete that top space, put in a proper fan/filter. Sux because that space is handy for putting the powerboard for the light and fans...
