Flytier's Quasi-Aquaponic Salmon-Based Organic Autoflowering Perpetual SPoG® SoG

Sweet man. I've never used cfl for growing but seems to be working well for you. I'm looking to go HPS for flower. If I can make enough from my crop I'll get high quality LEDs. I'm using mezhi lights for veg.

Thanks man! When I start getting a perpetual harvest I'll start saving money that I use for buying black market and by then the car'll be paid off and I should have a bit of money to spare before I start looking for another car. Getting an SUV this summer for getting to work in the winter. But maybe I'll be able to find some LEDs on sBay or wherever. I want to make a bigger growroom sometime early in the year if I can.

When I posted the progress report this morning I forgot to do a family photo, so here it is. It's well over halfway to the first harvest, with maybe four or five weeks to go. So it's starting to look like a perpetual anyway

Even with insulation on the floor, it was still cold but getting the starter pots off the floor with ventilation underneath seems to be working. The JH on the bottom left was planted on January 28th. For the last month and a half the seeds were just germinating at this point, so things are picking up.

When you do a perpetual grow with autos, are you using the breeders' time lines to stagger the harvests?

No, that's pretty random. I have Dwarf Low Flyers that have a six-week time, Jack Herers with a nine, and all points in between, no real schedule. I'm just hoping it'll sort of average out.

It would probably be a good idea to roughly calendar it out. That way you'll know you can actually say goodbye to your dealer and save some dough for lights!

Here is a day count calendar that might help with the calculations.

So Van, it just occurred to me, our seeds' flowering time is listed for nine weeks. What's the time for yours, out of curiosity?

Well its my understanding that autos times are reflective of seed to harvest...no? But the times listed on our's by the breeder is 65 days. So if yours time is from seed to flower....we should all finish just about the same time.

When I bought my autos from 420, Blueberry was listed at 55 days. Didn't say anything else. What did I know, I thought it would harvest in 55 days! First was 84 days and the second was 99. They changed the website to read flowering time is 55 days! Mine flowered at ~35 days so they were pretty close at 90.

If it's from seed to harvest then I have one that should be ready to cut now. The pistils are turning a little, but it's only been flowering for four weeks. Kinda doesn't seem like a long enough time, you know? I'll take a macro of it and you guys can tell me what you think. It's a JH.

Yeah, I just checked the CKS site and looked it up. It is a flowering time of nine weeks, according to Buy Jack Herer Auto Flower Marijuana Seeds - Crop King Seeds .

And here it is, the JH DiPoG® which, as it turns out, is a TriPoG®. Too many prefixes; I'll go with SPoGette®. But even for a SPoG® I can't imagine this one ready to cut yet. But does she ever smell sweet and spicy! Getting a nice layer of trichs too.

I gotta make another air pot today too - I got a Revolver ready to transplant. Those babies seem like they're going to grow nice.

You got plenty of time on that. My Blueberry and my AK both went 85+ days across 4 grows.

That's what I figured, but this bottle of wine that I'm guzzling back is telling me that it may be cut short today haw!

But other than a daytime drunk that I haven't had for a couple years I did manage to do a real nice transplant on my Revolver. Check this out - I even remembered to plant this baby off to the side for LST purposes. (Insert theme song for The Jeffersons here):
Well we're movin' on up (movin' on up)
To the East Side (movin' on up)
To a deeee-luxe apartment in the sky-hi-hi.

That brings me up to eight tall pots, four of which I think are now air pots. I'm hypothesizing that I'll probably be saving on perlite this way too; I doubt that I'll be needing much more aeration of the soil with a setup like this. And at $11 a fuckin' bag, I'm better off scrounging a bit of flyscreen; it'll go farther and last longer.

Just as a point of curiosity (maybe), on the tag, R stands for Revolver and G stands for Germination. The next thing to go on it will be F, for flower if you haven't figured that bit out, but I'll give you all enough credit for that. See, this girl took a week to germinate; she was planted before I got the starter pots off the floor and ventilated the buckets they're resting on; the JH I planted since then took 3, maybe 4 days to come up. Well we're movin' on up...

Lol don't pass out.too early bud XD ....

I'm waiting to see roots out the sides of those things!

You know, I really haven't seen a whole lot trying to poke their way out. I'll drunkenly take a stagger out there for a look, and if I see any with my double vision I'll try to get a pic for you. The last time I had alcohol was a year and a half ago, and it coincidentally, was also home brew wine. Every now and then it's good to have a reminder as to why I don't want to drink. It was fun in my 20s, but now I'm 54.

Millions :0
