Flump's Grow: Dinamed CBD, 2019/12

Doc, would you advise he top this gal and if so, when?

:passitleft:

I like to grow a strain for the first time without topping to see how it grows. Some strains do best without topping, others like it. You don't know till you grow it a few times, so I advise we leave it alone.

If nothing else, it will keep a half dozen different opinions from confusing! The goal here is a stunningly healthy plant. Topping is not required....but we should begin bloom right away after transplanting.

Well, that's not best at all. Last time you do that!

The user guide on the website says: ""Apply foliar sprays right before or right after lights come on....."

This has always been the recommendation. Never has it been otherwise.
Gotcha. My eyes played tricks on me in PC's thread. I misread 'on' for 'out'. Lesson learned!

She's exploding! :meatballs: Pot starting to feel light. Might transplant this weekend!

Noted. What strength?

Since you just gave it a strong one....make this next one a "normal" one. 15 mils in a gallon of water with a few drops of Tea, assuming a dunk should do the trick.

After that, we should have a healthy rootball for transplanting and the plant will have the ability to sprint in bloom, which is what we want.

I'd really like to see alternating nodes prior to blooming it. That and a robust rootball.

Glug glug glug! :meatballs: :meatballs: :meatballs:

Questions for Doc, can he clip those dead leaves yet and you said normal strength this time at 15ml per gal of h2o but shouldn't that be doubled due to dunk?

Great job Flump and Doc! :high-five:

The last drench was a strong one, so we don't want to do another strong drench on top of it, but since the plant is getting watered every few days and is speeding up it's metabolism, we don't want the soil to lose energy in veg....especially in this situation. So a light drench is called for. Towards the end of veg I dunk daily, strong drenches back to back, then water, etc. Container gardening calls for it, while outdoors things would be different.

Edit: those leaves aren't really dead, but they'll come off soon soon enough. There's quite of bit of nutrition in those leaves that the plant can call on if needed, and I hope to see alternating nodes start with the new growth.....so it could come in handy!

This is a look into how my feeble gardening skills compute. I'm looking ahead to where the plant needs to be, what the soil needs now to get there, root health, container size, time in-between waterings and what is essentially pattern recognition......and I just know what to do as far as using which product and when.

BTW, It's time to go into bloom temps in the veg room if possible. 80 degrees, 60% humidity for the next 2 weeks if you can do it. Anything over 50% rH would be greatly helpful.

I just dunked the lady. 1 gal water, 15ml GI and 1/2ml tea.

Day temps are between 24 and 27C. Depends on how cold outside. Night temps around 20.5 to 21.5C. RH is always around 60%
This is pretty much exactly what I have been getting. I turned my cheap huey on the high setting (there is only 1, 2, and off) and I woke up to 80%! Keeping it set on 1 I am getting between 57-65%. If I get a real humidifier I should have no issues. We live in a good spot I guess.
