FlowerNose & NezFleur Grow More Autoflowers - Coco - LED - 2017

Day 2. Almost 40 hours wet and Critical has the tiniest little tap root peeking out. No pics because I wanted her back in the damp, dark heat as quick as possible.

We didn't pop new seeds until after harvest with our first two grows. I hope we've got the timing good this time. Hate running out of bud.
.

Running out is never good!!! Grow faster! Grow bigger!! LOL

The Critical seed hasn't done much since this morning. Hopefully tomorrow morning her tap root has some length to it and I can get her in rockwool. It got pretty warm in the cupboard today and I'm hoping I didn't cook the poor seed. It got above 41°C/105°F. Yikes.

I was able to get my hands on Northern Lights a lot today. Tonight when I fed her I tossed in some pony tails and tucked leaves.

I follow pigeons420 on YouTube and he's an advocate of touching plants. Twisting stems, bending, stroking, training - every day. He has recent videos on it. I've been doing that lately. I love spending the time.

Gorilla Glue lost about 15-20 leaves today to improve airflow and light to interior nodes.
.

It's a version of low stress training. Little circles of crafting pipe cleaners hold fan leaves straight up. It's temporary so you can leave it for an hour or all night. It lets light get inside the plant so lower nodes can bulk up.

Cool - might have to try it once mine recovers and takes off.... I split a main stem the other night .

And I also order through GYO seeds, had 100% germination and their tier freebies are so good! I'm running a Sour Lemon, which is OG lineage if I'm not mistaken, couldn't find much info on it as they just say GYO Strain etc. I've got some nice ones still for my next grow too. But I'm not getting ahead of myself...

Day 58
Northern Lights is kicking butt. I gave her a pretty heavy defoliation today. I didn't get a before photo.

I had been noticing condensation between fan leaves for a couple days. Now there's much better air flow. I expect she'll need this done at least one more time before her final days of flower.
Took out the tape measure to see where she was sitting.

My mutant beauty.

Noticing you have your lights only 10" away, did you start off and move it closer over time or just finding closer is better, I have Mars lights too, if I can get them to grow better I will. Mine are vegging at about 18" away

When I put this light in it was probably 15 inches away at first. But then NL got taller. Then I lowered the light a smidge. Then she got taller again. So it was pretty gradual.

I downloaded a free Lux Meter for my Android phone. It gives me an idea of how much light the plant's being slapped with. I try to keep the top bud sites within 12,000-25,000 lumens.

I say all this like I know what I'm talking about... I just read a bunch of stuff a bunch of different places and here I am.

The closer she can tolerate the lights, the closer I'm going to hang them. LEDs don't penetrate too well and I want lower bud development to be dense.
