Day 62 for Gorilla glue and Northern Lights.
I took a small handful of leaves off GG and a large handful off NL. I also raised NL's light again so that it now sits at 13". I left her alone for 4-5 hours and she looked so much happier. She wasn't curled before, exactly...but after the change she just started standing prouder.

Day 2 for Skunk #1. She's in rockwool.

She's bunking with Gorilla Glue.

Day 3. Skunk shows signs of life. She's breaking ground with her husk.

In other news, Northern Lights is a really tight plant. There's a ton of growth that y'all just can't really see in the pics I've posted. I've been taking leaves off her every day, but within 24 hours she's choking herself again. Today I did a thorough job of removing not just the current offenders, but also fan leaves positioned to choke her again in the next day or two. She looks pretty rough now, but I think she'll thank me for it. Before and after.

If I'm going to ever attempt back building, I think this plant may be a good one to try it on. Thinking of back building maybe half the colas? Give me your thoughts, please.

AWWWWW YEAH some back building!! I am kind of bummed that I didn't really get to try that technique on this grow. But I am definitely interested in seeing how you do with it. Is this your first time trying it Flower? I don't remember seeing you do it on your other two grows.

Yeah thats the same thing with me. For me, flower is kind of boring. Veg, I get to have all sorts of fun molesting the girls and doing all sorts of freaky things with them, and then they get hairs and I have to leave them alone. I just flat out forgot to do the back building. But its ok, cause I have a baseline for what regular buds look like now in my environment.

Exactly! But I still play with them for a while after the hairs arrive. NL right now is flowering but I'm still defoling and LSTing. I have to keep training through the flower stretch if I want to contain it to the limits of the space. Electric Fruit taught me that.

Yeah I don't have the height issue, so I defoliate about 2 days before the flip and then I let them be until about day 18-20 of flower (with hairs). Then I do a massive defoliation and thats about it for my girls. I miss the hands on part with them. Which makes it odd that I would miss the opportunity to back build, but I did just that.
