First Time Growing

when you say go easy on the nutes. do you mean like give it two different sets of water. One day with nuts and the other just tab water ph-ed?
or
just give it the 160 ppm water but every time the soil is dry?

what ppm level is that?

No question. thought i just do a quick update.
perhaphs i should of made one in journal>?

Starting off with the hydroponic;
ppm 335
ph 6 The solution was yellow so its somewhere in that range
Temp/humidty 28c 50% 82f
High 30c/70% 86f
low 17c/31 62f

resevor temp currently at 23 but it does go up based on the tempratures.

The two plants in soil:
Not sure what the current ppm of soil is
every feeding time i give it the same water that i've made previously. 160ppm
ph 6.7 hard to say exact ph as the tube is a very light green.
There are signs of new growth showing.

Looking much better there PK, you're catching on quick :high-five::popcorn:

Thanks dude! @Pennywise has been great mentor!

I just make suggestions, you’re doing all the work.
Do you happen to have a suggustion on what the current ppm should be? :)
i dnt want to over feed it. her hopefully!

Thanks dude! @Pennywise has been great mentor!
Yes sir, he taught me how to climb out of a small car wearing big shoes :hmmmm: hold on, that was another clown :rofl:

Seriously though, he is pretty awesome, and humble :thumb:

And you know that you can copy the "link address" from your journal and put it in your signature in your account settings...so it can follow you around :high-five: like under Pennys posts, or mine :peace:

i did not. I was wondering how it was done. thx dude!

I’d feed 1/4 to 1/2 strength. That will change in late veg and in flower.
hmmm, I guess by tomorrow i will find out if we get any nitrogin deficiency.
Just to be safe i'll start adding some ph-ed tab water when the resevor water evaporates and bring the ppm down on the hydroponic plant.

Just watch for yellowing leaves on the bottom of the plant.
indeed. currently i only have one leave that has the tip burned. I would assume the same leave would show some sign and if not a new leave would have a nitrogin burn mark.

So the hydroponic plant is loving life. Perfect root system.

The leaves are growing and the plant is stretching but has close inner nodes.
Now i did top this plant on May 5th. This was after i noticed new branches being visible.
i officially called it veg day 1. Not sure if that is correct or not?
Current ppm 335
I've had it raised so that it is closer to the light and the light is at 65% intensity. It does call for 70% based on manufacture manual. but i think it will be fine.

The first picture where one of the leave is showing a brown mark and is half bad. This happened in the beginning stages where i transferred from the soil to hydroponic. My mistake was i put everything together and then pored water and nuts on that green plant starter things. Not sure what it exactly is called. Wool?

i am actully surprised it is working with the amount of knowladge i have. I totally now respect the scince behind it on how plants generally grow to produce. Awesome exparince!

So, I take i did give it to much nuts again ?
the tip of some leaves are showing the same symptoms as the other once.
Suggustions?
