First Time Grower - Dinafem Blue Widow

Do yoy think she'll hit those lights during the two week stretch?

Do yoy think she'll hit those lights during the two week stretch?

That's my worries, but with the T5 set up there isn't a huge amount of heat at the bulbs so she could conceivably be within 2" on the light. I've tried to keep the light as close as possible to keep the stretch to a minimum so the branches don't get weak and can't handle the weight of the flowers.

You have a beautiful plant. Im anxious to watch it flower. Congratulations on the pistils.

so you are going to do the whole grow with t5's? I am a fan of lst myself I used it on both my plants this is my first flowering so just watching how the plant changes is cool best of luck with the grow I am subbed and watching

:welldone:

At least with this first grow I'll go with the T5. Depending on the quality and quantity will depend if I go and spend the money for an LED system. At the moment I can't justify spending at least $500 on a system to effectively cover my tent. Welcome to the grow, and thank you!

Day 60/Day 12 Flowering she continues to stretch towards the light. I've read the bulk of the stretch happens in the first two weeks of flowering then she will focus her energy on flowers. Let's hope that remains true. I think the next time I feed her nutes I'm going to add some molasses to the mix, help the microbial make up in the soil and help refresh the soil. I'd say at this moment in time she's got to be close to being 36" tall. As she stretches the colas make their presents know it looks as though I could have as many as 16. hopefully that means I'm going to surpass my expectations on an ounce on my first grow.

Day 61/Day 13, nothing new to report this morning at least, might be a completely different story when I get home from work tonight. Going to feed her some nutes here in the next day or so. Letting the soil dry out just a little bit more.

They say that a watched pot never boils, perhaps a watched plant never blooms. Peek in on them only for a few days between waterings and watch them shock you with their growth.

I understand your impatience. *chews nails* haha

Lovely ladies, all of them.

That's very true, A watched pot never boils. I do like you're saying though, I'll have to use that in the future. I try my hardest not to watch her too closely, but now that I'm in the fun phase it's a bit harder to go without watching her intently.

Thank you very much on the encouraging words.

Let's hope so! I'm really starting to lose a little bit of my patience waiting for flower development. Lol they say patience is a virtue, this must be what they were talking about.

haha, it's hard, I know! But I heard good things comes to those who wait! The person who wrote that, was deff thinking of cannabis flowers! :D

Day 63/ Day 15 Flowering, continues to be the very beginning stages of flower development. More and more pistils showing up, and the flower sites are defined. I have about 6 main colas and numerous minor colas, I think in total I've got 18 flower sites. Next grow I'm going to try and at least double that if not triple. She continues to stretch towards the light, so I've raised the light up a few more inches.
