First Time Grower - Dinafem Blue Widow

Day 50/Day 2 of Flowering, some good news today, I saw some preflowers on her. They were a little too small for my iPhone to properly focus on them to take photos for you. Fed her some nutes today, a very little portion, probably about a quarter of a gallon this morning and I'll give her some more tomorrow.

Day 52/Day 4 Flowering, there continues to be an upward growth as well as leaf development. The leaf development I would imagine is from pruning the bottom 4" or so. Fed her some more nutes this morning. Thinking I might change the light cycle so that when I get home the lights are still on, so I can keep you all updated with photos.

So it occurred to me that I didn't do an update yesterday, so today I'll combine the last two days.
Day 53,54/Day 5,6 Flowering, yesterday there wasn't much to update other than what was seen on the photos. Very first pistils came in and the plant continues to grow at a pretty rapid rate. I've have read that the growth typically slows down after the first two weeks. I've kept my light close to the plant. I think it's only about 16" away from the canopy to keep stretching to a minimum so the branches are strong enough to support the weight of the flowers.
Today, the plant has put on even more growth and some of the leaves are starting to crystal up, noticed as I was giving her, her daily quarter turn just to. Make sure all sides of the plant get exposed to the same lighting. There has been an increase in the number of pistils seen today. I'm also no longer going to be doing any training. What she looks like now is the way she'll stay till it's harvest time. Reason for that is I want to keep stress to a minimum so she can divert all of her energy into flower production.

Day 55/Week 1 Flowering, did some very light pruning today, removed a branch that had no chance to get any light to develop a proper flower. More and more pistils are showing up. She seems a little bit taller today as well. I'm really hoping my keeping the light close that she's not going to stretch super tall. I know she's suppose to double in height, but I'd like that energy used toward flower development instead.

Looks great man! :) Nice colors and everything.
If it's your first time, it's always funny to measure how long it get's during flower week for week :)
I keep a diary in my room :)

Thank you! I'll have to keep that in mind for the next grow! Knowing that I'm only weeks away has made my patience start to wane a little. Lol

Day 57/Day 9 Flowering, she's seems to do doing quite fine, spent a good hour with her this morning, checking all the leaves for any signs of nute burn and pests. She seems to be doing great on both accounts. Noticed that the root system has started coming out of the holes in the bottom of my 7gal container. She continues to grow upward, getting ever closer to the lights. I may have to bring my lights up to keep her from burning herself. More and more pistils show up everyday, I can't wait till she really starts to flower!!!! Fed her half a gal of notes this morning as well. The soil is starting to dry up much faster now, which is always a good sign. I added a 1/8 tsp of Beastie Bloomz to the notes this morning with the Open Sesame.

Day 58/Day 10 Flowering, nothing really to note that I could see change. I did raise my lights about 2" so she's now about 10-12" away from the light now. I also pruned another two branches from the bottom of the plant. I didn't think they would get the proper lighting to develop correctly. Fed her the rest of her nutes this morning. She's starting to get really thirsty.
