Nah purple stems can be perfectly normal. Nitrogen deficiency will show itself with yellowing in the leaves. Our’s has had purple stems since about the stage you’re in now.

Here’s daily update, so I did take off the bottom leaves on the big one, I kinda am hoping the middle plant catches up a little to it so I won’t b mad if it slows down for a bit lol, I’m planning on flowering them together,assuming they are bout females, and vegging the tiny “gelato” out for awhile while they flower

well I read every page and you seem to be doing ok can you check the EC with your pen or only ppm? keep doing whatever you think as it is working

Unfortunately only ppm, I’m still unsure what em is lol

EC , PPM... same thing. Just measures the nutrient levels in the bucket. As far as defoliation goes, I would hold off on that as much as possible. Like BubblinBuds said same thing but EC = Electrical conductivity and ppm is parts per million. Now here is the kicker if the pen shows ppm then all it is doing no lie is taking the EC measurement and multiplying it by a number that nobody knows lol ( not literally you can refer to them as 5 or 7 that is a lengthy explanation and you are likely getting bored)

Yup I've always thought of it as an Imperial/metric thing for simplicity sake.
@Stormblessed I too haven't been getting proper notifications. I also meant to get back to you on your PH pen. It's a x5, which more common for PPM measurements (in other words, you're all good ).

thank you for looking that up x5 is the best if you use ppm (this is my opinion, I use x5 the most)

Here they are today, the bigger one I topped the 4 main stems today after the picture, I’m quad lining that one, well I guess 8 now lol the smaller one”gorilla glue” I’m just going to normal LST and top a few times and compare how they grow, the tiny one” fem gelato” I’m gonna l Let veg while the other 2 flower, I’m not flowering them for a couple more weeks though

I did notice from the picture of under the canopy from today there is a lot less light getting through than the pic from yesterday, so there must b some decent new growth

Well y’all I’m finally out of the closet, since this grow started I’ve tried to do some upgrading to improve quality and make my life easier lol, so I’m gonna update, now I am running with a
4x4 tent
2x mars hydro ts600’s
4” inline fan for ventilation

tower fan for circulation
2x 5gal bucket setups w/ air pumps
1x unknown bag seed “quad lined”
1x gorilla glue bag seed “ LST”
