First Grow!

Good morning VG,

Was real nice to see PeeJay again, he must have been pretty busy lately, but he always goes hunting down the journals that he's subscribed to and gives great advice. He gave me his secret dirt ingredients for my Darkstar. :high-five:

There are some people who can grow & then there are others that think they can grow. PeeJay can grow, that's for sure. Go over to his compact journal and just look at the Pics, simply awesome. 50 pages since last September & loaded with nothing except great information.

Some Journals are barely 3 months old and have 500 pages and don't contain all that much, except unnecessary drama concerning a plant, which will probably "Do the Hermie Dance" after all is said & done. :rofl:

Good Journals are created and most of them aren't advertised, but are found through "Research" or "Word of Mouth".

I sampled the AK-48 last night & was expecting more, but I'm going to use it as a filler for the SKNL. They both compliment each other very well. The AK-48 is more cerebral than the SKNL, so I just have to figure out the correct proportions for the mix.

Hey VG.see that drying out thing.make sure on ur last water 2 let ur plants go a good 5\6 days without,then chop.it'll really help with drying it out.I didn't.an it took a good 6 days hang drying.there's loads online about all this stuff.look it up.but def letting ur plant completely dry out seems 2 be wot a lot of growers do.I meant 2 do it.but just chopped it.should of waited.

Late making my rounds. Sorry. Just had my product sampled by a good friend, both sorts. He gave me a strong report card. I then went out and bought a "Da Vinci" Acent vaporizer. Oh, is it so, so sweet, it totally vaporizers everything and so smooth to inhale. 3 Bills was the damage, already paid for in a trade.

Yeah its in jars now curing,been over a week now.smells nice like wen it was growing,an def getting stronger.just hung it in my tent 4 6 days,window open,window darkened out.room darkened.takes awhile 2 get it all proper dry
 
VG,

After the last flush, let them dry out before the harvest. The night before the harvest, give them 2 cups of water with molasses. Believe me, it makes a difference.

That nug i took off got smoked earlier it wasn't bone dry but went thru the grinder ok

I took it down a mates(his missus smokes) gave her a try and she liked it, i didn't tell her where it came from i'm not that thick lol ha ha ha It didn't smell nice untill you broke the nug open then the smell was yum lovely and sweet,It went down a treat if i'm honust there was a smooth taste with a little sweet taste,after it burned it smelt good too,the high for me was legs like jelly put me in a sort of a floaty daze,fantastico !! cant wait till its done another 4 weeks should be some dank ass puff !!

Tell me about it,i sampled the PP that was affected with the cal/mag the most,really looking forward to testing stevie ! the big PP is going to need some support soon the buds are quite hard and heavy with resin gave them a squeeze had some real sticky fingers :cheesygrinsmiley:
 
Hey guys, does anyone have any experience with "sevin-5 dust"? Its a type of pesticide that is safe for edible garden plants. I was told to use it for fungus nats but cant find much on the internet. Sorry for borrowing your journal VG, i just wanted to ask here because i know you and a lot of people following your grow have a lot of knowlege about our precious plants, and i need help.

It's too early to think about nutes, but when adding you'll want to measure the run off water and compare it to the water with nutes that you added. Ph is important granted and should be watched.. But with the use of soil/compost as a grow medium you have an added advantage.... The soil acts as buffer..... Instead of a hydro system getting nutes directly, the nutes go into the soil first, then too the plant.
You mentioned gravel from fish tank , do you have an active tank ??....) the tank water and gravel crud make an excellent nute mix... Plus you get live micro organisms into ya soil too... My first grow was grown using that and worm castsfrom my lawn.

I wouldnt feed yet either, plenty in the soil at the mo... At this stage less is more, they are very delicate.... Dont rush em, be patient..) let em get established/acclimatised to their new home..

Enjoy watching em grow, they can change quickly..... After the first couple of true leaves are out, they get their trainers/sneakers on and are off !!!

I left mine for 2 days unchecked... Opened the cupboard up and was like " ok, who swapped my plant for a bigger one "..

Mighty fine Ladies that you a presenting in the store front widow. What are you thinking? Is this the Amsterdam Red Light District?

BTW, anyone who hasn't been to Amsterdam should just Google it. Plenty of coffee shops in the area and the store front windows are very, very interesting, to say the least.:rofl: Nice colas and you are going to get some Big Bud! They have developed just a little bit since I have last seen them, looks as if they have been really working on their fruits.

Cheers guys the last few days they are really getting their 'plump' on ha ha the smaller PP hasn't got cola's so to speak she just has heavy,sticky lumps of bud everywhere :thumb: lol :cheesygrinsmiley:

Nope SL mate just 4 weeks today :thumb: can't frigging wait !!

Ole I wish it was the red light district ! ha ha ha yeah i thought stevie was gonna be my big producer,but now i'm not so sure big gurl has some lovely colas developing one of them is nearing 2 foot i'd say and the others little less,there is one that isn't going to produce big top cola more like 4 inches as when she stretched the node spaces are quite big on her and i don't think they are going to link to form a big one but two lil ones will do just nice !! ha ha ha

I just took another look at your pic. Just wanted to say the lighting is perfect. They are "Praising the Sky" receiving the rays and putting straight energy right into the bud.
