Thank you Woodsman, I'm glad to have you on board as these are new strains for me and the seeds came from the same place as your NL#5, I got the indoor seed pack and purchased Crystal with it.

Hello Everyone,
I had a few extra minutes so I took a pic of the new grow and labeled it so we all know what and where everything is. My Crystal has taken off and is shooting for the stars and it's starting to bother me, I'm going to have to come up with some sort of stand to put the other plants on so they are not too far from the lights. I moved the light up 12" last week and Crystal has doubled in size since then and it looks like I'm going to have to raise it again soon, she is already taller than any of my NL plants have ever been and still has about 7 weeks of flowering left.

Nice pic you got there with the labeling and all. How much vertical space do you have left? Good Idea about raising the others though. You could always bend the Crystal over just enough and tie it down to even things out. I like your tent! I'd rep you, but I got to rep elsewhere first it says.

Good morning Woodsman,
Thanks so much for the kind words, you make me feel like I know what I'm doing. My tent is 78" tall so I do have plenty of head room. Yesterday I took the light all the way to the top and put the plants on heavy boxes or planters turned upside down, I even had to put the Crystal on a stand but it is only about 5" tall and she is know about 20" from the light so not much room left for play. Thank for the idea of bending her over slightly and tying her down and may have to do that. I guess I'm learning a lesson about growing 3 different strains at the same time, they don't grow at the same rate.

Sometimes plants from the same strain don't grow the same way. I would think you'd have to have the same parents to be alike.

nice!!!!!!! heres my northern lights I hope it ends up like yours!
Looking at your last photo I see you've got those corner posts in your tent. Perfect for tying onto with some kite string or something. Just attach a line to each of the (looks like two colas) tops and pull it over to one side or the other till you get to your desired height. It will give you even more light exposure lower down the stems and give you a more 'level' playing field.

After this grow each of the plants from the individual strains will be from the same mother as I will have 3 mothers; NL#5, BubbleGum and Crystal. This should help with the different height issue also.

OMG that is one hell of a Northern lights and I must say I wish mine was that full. Do you have a Journal going, I would love to read it and see what you are doing. My NL from this current grow is looking similar to yours. You might have read that mine were taken as clones after being in the flower room for 3+ weeks and with the growth so tight were the flowers were coming from I have many side chutes coming up. Mine are starting to look like shrubs instead of plants and it looks like I could have 8-10 colas on each of them.

Hey Woodsman,
Now I know why we are all here. After your last post giving me the idea of tying them down yesterday I was looking at the flower room trying to figure out how to tie them down to the pot and was not sure how to do it and did not even think of tying them to the tent frame. Another great idea from a great member. People like you are the reason I'm here and people like you keep me here.

Thanks for dropping by and the kind words. I would love to live "next door" to many of you in here. It would be fun to get together, bring a couple of prize buds each from our personal grows, share our stories and just have a good time. nice my NL are from clones also the one that is featured is about 5 week veg and two days in flowering. Funny story the leaves on this one died off twice from silly me over-fert her. She a champ she always grew faster then all my plants. I currently have sour diesel, afgooey, and northern lights cfl grow indoors but I have a lot of light about 30k lumens per square ft.
-I'll make a journal but I'm new and still learning any help is appreciated.
