Don't like the bleach and that may have been it since you said the roots were fine but the top was somehow damaged.

Go straight water on the misting. Don't spray the home defense on the plants quite as much. Probably nothing but it does have a little oil in there as a carrier for the killer stuff.

Good news is that it will recover.

Now on to your spotted leaf problem. As I said, could be cal/mg defiency and since your nutes are about where I would expect them to be I think it's time to add some cal-mag to the mix. Do you have any around?

Probably need to make a trip to the hydro store or in the mean time see the attached. Look at the problems illustrated for a calcium and Magnesium deficiency and it looks alot like what you have right down to the desciptions.

Grow Marijuana FAQ, Cannabis cultivation - marijuana growing tips & photos

You can use epson salt in a pinch and I would use it at 1/2 tsp per qt of water as they say in the article. Either way you may need the cal-mag from here on in.

Checked out the link. It does look a lot like Mg deficiency for sure.

Thanks a lot for the link. I'll see if I can scrounge up some epson salt until I can make it to the hydroponic store for the cal-mag.:thankyou:

That's the treatment. Don't freak if you get some grit in the bottom of the res. Just part of using the epson salt as a temporary fix.

Cal-Mag also has some Iron in it. When and if you get it make the first dose a 1/2 strength dose (about 5ml/gal) and wait a couple of hours at least to see how they do. Would not expect any major reaction but I'm a firm beleiver in doing it half way to check before a full dose. It keeps you out of the real bad messes.

I had a MG def before and a foliar spray of epsom salt boiled into water..cooled..then sprayed on the plants fixed it right up. I like doing the foliar method because If you have something locking out your magnesium then feeding it to the roots wont do anything.

Good point, if they are locked up you won't get anything to them for a while.

Wow, if you have pics of what your MG def looked like, I would love to see those. Could you point me to them, or post them in my grow? No worries if you don't.
Sada, I'm sorry to see the rusting on your plants. I really hope you can get that under control quickly. I agree with others suggestions of not using the bleach mix spray. I've never used it, but if you have a plant you are not worried about killing, like a house plant that you don't want, maybe spray it with your bleach solution to see if it hurts them (got any weeds in your yard?)??? Might not be worth hurting more plants though. Just a thought to try to narrow down what happened. I've sprayed plants with Home Defense without issues, but those were outdoor plants, for sure Roses, and a couple others. :goodluck:

Just put em in your journal bro

Yeah, I think the bleach is what did most of the wilting damage. I hope they don't die on me... they're looking pretty bad. :(

Thanks for all the suggestions. Can I do that foliar spray even if I have added some epson salt to the tank?

Sorry to hear that i think they might make it just have faith i would still spray just not so much mine says 1/2 tsp to gallon then i just transfer to a spray bottle on a fine mist but maybe 1/8 strength would be ok if your leaves are pretty weak.

And im sure you know but i would also hold off on flowerin them you dont want to flower them until you have seen some kind of a recovery.

Oh yeah.. definitely going to hold off on flowering. I'm prob going to wait another week now.

Got an update coming as soon as I get these pictures uploaded.

Things got worse before they got better. About 2/5 of the undergrowth on all the plants wilted and died off. I just removed all of the dead portion today. You can see the hole in the leaves where a lot of Beast's undergrowth came off in this first pic. Along the top, things are recovering. Some of the leaves are still looking bad but they're definitely recovering and still growing. Roots are still looking healthy.

Pics!

This will prob be the last bird's eye view I'll have of them. It's hard for me to be able to raise the camera enough to get a full shot of them because of their height.

Looking good :goodjob:
IHave been following your grow and I had the same problems that you had during veg loosing 75% of my root mass 5 weeks into veg and should have
veged them for another 2 weeks at least but ran out of grow nutes so i started flower and by the time i was at full strength of bloom my new batch of veg nutes arrived so i did some what of a recovery by adding veg nutes
to the bloom nutes and my roots grew back and the bottom third of my plants
recovered and everything turned rich green and popcorn buds were a plenty.
:goodluck:
