Feral's Journal Of Insanity & Some Growing

Thanks bro, great to see you :passitleft: Yeah I love the White Jack, such an easy plant to grow although she can be a bit of a bitch in the warmer temps, I think the next time I flower her will be during the cooler months, I remember last Chrissy I threw her in there and she hermed like a bitch which is why I ripped her out and ran the Sour D :thumb: this time she did herm a little towards the end, found a few seeds and pollen sacs during harvest, id say it was that week or so of 35c temps in there lol, nothing too bad, found about 25 seeds from 7oz, I'm going to drop them and look for a bitch that aint gonna herm at all, they are White Jack s1's so should stay pretty true to the mother, probably all herm on me but will be worth a look   Yeah I have a lot going on right now lol, trying to get back to staggered harvests again, this harvest every 8 weeks or so just aint working for me, trying to think 1-2 harvests down the track now and prepping a lot of plants, have been going through them pretty quickly too with the hempys, really id like them to be a bit bigger before I throw them into flower but if I stop and let them veg that means the flower tent stays empty and I'm wasting useable space. everything should be back to running smoothly after C99 hopefully :)

The gummy bears are gonna be pretty bad with me, I'm a massive sweet tooth, ill eat the lot and then wonder why I'm so stoned, then want even more because I'm stoned   only need one more ingredient now and the molds and I'm good to go, even got citric acid today to make them sour too

Damn man, would have been nice to know which ones they came from, if it was hit by something else that was running at the time or if it was selfed, I'm sure you will see when you grow them hehe :high-five: I'm always asking my mates if there were any seeds in the buds, has been a couple of times but they love it, they want more seeds  I generally warn them there may be a seed here and there because of the pollen I'm always working around, most of the time they come back disappointed because they didn't find any lmao :passitleft:

More than likely it would be the one that hermied on me. That being said, he told me they came from some really dense buds. They're all dense but my first harvest is what he thought. If thats true then thats crazy cause i only had 3 clones at that point and they were all girls. The seeds look good!

I chopped that pollenated plant today.

I had a little blue cheese auto that I just left in the tent. She ended up at the end of her life cycle and she threw out nanners that ended up polinating the big sativa I have. Before i saw the nanner today I thought the sativa hermed but could never see any nanners on her

I let that bud dry out a bit and decided to bust up the buds, holy shit there's a ton of seeds, but there's a lot of whitish one, there are a few brown so I'm happy about that. I remember you said to leave them alone for a couple of weeks. Will they ripen a bit or is this it? Will I get more browns?

Nah basically leaving them for a few weeks is to let them dry out a bit so they are not holding moisture, without that they will go moldy in whatever container/bag you put them in ;) They don't ripen any more than when they were harvested, need to allow the seeds to ripen on the plant, I usually take popcorn nugs when its getting close to test if they are ready, if the lowers are ready you can pretty much guarantee the main buds will be ripe too :thumb: The white seeds still may be viable, as long as they are fully formed they should still germinate, just not the prettiest seeds ;)

You are a busy man. Yo bitches be fine. :thumb: :smokin2::surf:

Thanks bro :passitleft: Yeah seems to be non-stop lately  always something else to do and little to no time to do it, had my son out up-potting the tomatoes with me yesterday afternoon when he got home from school, saw a couple of my plants and asked what they were because they looked really nice  had to make up a story about being shrubs we were trying to get going so we can put them in a line along the fence for privacy from the neighbors

I try to do most of my pruning work during veg, ive covered my topping and defol method a few times here and there, will get back to it at some point with better pictures etc. I basically build the structure of the plant till she has a nice even canopy of nodes, each time I top I take the fan leaf promoting growth to that branch which then forces the sub-branches and their fan leaves to take over a lot quicker, the branch that was topped and had the fan removed should then stop growing in length but it will still continue in girth, gives them a nice strong base, basically turns it into a highway for nutes :thumb: very hard to explain without pics  Once I have built the structure to my liking I then don't do any defol for the last week in veg which lets them start to take off again before moving to flower.
In flower, I don't do any defol till stretch is over, once stretch is done you can remove the main fans for each branch, I then remove the lower crap that wont do anything and then if there is still not enough light penetration through the canopy I will start to remove inward facing leaves, anything in the middle of the canopy that doesn't need to be there can be removed ;) One thing I will recommend though is to try not take too many fans from the main colas/heads, it will force a lot of foxtailing if done early :thumb:

Whats your temps @ in your flower tent lately dude? I was up in sydney last week and was hot as hell. Do you run any aircon or anything?

Nah I don't run anything mate  I run my lights of a night so its not so hot in there, been up around 30c in there the last couple of weeks, lucky I'm running cindy this round and she is stable as fuck, 91'Krypt is shaping up well too ;)

Yeah ive wound back and settled on candy as my mother and main stock cause nothing phases it including heat. Im at 32c today but trying to get temps down slowly with mods. If it wasnt for stealth reasons i could knock a few degrees off running at night too. Hmm... may figure something out to work around it one day.
As yeah they look healthy as always. .
