For sure I'm at a point now I'm more interested in the breeding side of things than my flower tent that just purrs along by itself not needing much attention at all apart from res changes I have very limited space indoors but the greenhouse already has a whole heap of my own F1's so much fun The SSH I had showed male preflowers in veg, took a week or so in flower for it to be prominent, was pretty happy till about a week later when pistils started busting out straight in the bin for that one Got roughly 150 different strains here in seed form, will probably never get through a lot of it but some standouts in there and packs I want to do full runs of to find my champions

Oooo do you have lights in the greenhouse to keep them in veg since the winter hours are coming in? I'm thinking of doing a few little ones in my tiny greenhouse, idk though I'm thinking the humidity in their might be a problem, we'll see. Jesus fucking christ lol 150 strains? And I thought I had a good seed bank faaaaarrkkk

Yeah I'm not up on the mendo dope thing or any of that, not a big rap fan at all unless its oldschool lol, I actually won the Jillybeans from the POTM comp so thought id give them a run after seeing a few of their phenos on Instagram and the likes Id love to be working with local strains and such, I just don't have access to them, I have 2 strains from here and I'm struggling to get one of them going which is the one I want With all the international seeds I have I'm just blazing through looking for standouts, if I find them they will be put aside used later in some breeding projects, will basically be breeding most of my own weed from here on out but there are still a few more I need to get my hands on, I only buy regs now too which pretty much leaves me with a few places to choose from which I like.
That pack sounds like a good mix, should find something decent amongst them

Love the high on this 90's. Feels like I'm floating up in the clouds. Yeah getting access is hard, I was fortunate enough to get these 90's beans so I'll be seeing what I can do with those genetics. I mean I've only grown 2 full female plants of the 90's so my data on it isn't extensive. I'm excited to see what other phenotypes can be produced With all the seeds you have I'm sure you'll find something awesome, I mean it's bound to happen with that number of strains lol. Same here bro, if I see something nice or I hear of some super duper old school landrace/heirloom seeds I might jump on it but other than that it's growing and breeding for me alllllllll day Yeah man it looked like one of the best packs and it works out to $5 a seed with the freebies so it's pretty decent when you think about the semantics of the seed company being in australia etc etc. They were sent out a couple hours ago so hopefully should get them by the end of the week, it's aus post though so I haven't got high hopes lol.

I'm basically looking for something that I want to smoke all day every day like the weed I used to smoke in my teenage years, tastes like weed, gets you high, stoned, wasted, whatever you want to call it I'm not after berry apple tripped out psychedelic daze I figure the only way I'm going to get that is to breed it myself, I wish I would have kept a lot of the seeds I found in my mixes back then but we were young and dumb
Worst part about it is Australia and not naming strains, where do you start? I mean what does a haze taste like? what does skunk taste like? you just don't know unless you experience it for yourself, over here the only way to do that is grow it yourself or travel, I cant afford to travel Then it comes down to who bred the strain and how close it is to the original, I mean you might be smoking something named skunk and it might lean more towards a different parentage, without prior experience you wouldn't know, sux man

Working on it brother Man I bet every stoner who becomes a grower/breeder has thought that "why the fuck didn't I keep those seeds?!?!" hahahaha. I bet a lot of are from the 70's because of how the weed was back then; Seeds, stems and bud/leaf. You hit the nail right on the head there mate, trying to figure out the lineage of even this 90's is anoying because as you said, names and general knowledge about cannabis haven't been big around these parts. Thankfully with the US becoming more and more lax with their laws our government don't have a leg to stand on if they try to say it's bad for society and/or personal health. That Atomic x Sour D is going to be fire! been injured, I hit my head hard on a beam while hanging some new DE lights at work and messed up my head and neck pretty bad if I lift my arms and turn my head i go blind for a few and it feels like my skull is being crushed.

Nah I'm not running any supplemental lighting in there, only a small greenhouse, basically treating the plants as autos, once they mature they should start flowering and give me a good indication of what to keep and what to throw, any real good ones will be moved inside and reveg or cloned etc
I follow the mendo dope boys on Instagram but all they really post lately is stuff for their tour I'm sure I will find a lot of awesome plants in the seeds I have here, its just a matter of getting through them to find the good ones
Hoping you have some great results with your breeding mate, would be awesome to see it back out there again

Would be interesting if it stayed. Hmm... 4 out of 9, maybe it's a pheno that will either grow out of it, or keep it on the main fingers, or go all ducky all the time.. Tissue assignment at that age being so fluid, it's hard to even posture a guess.

The SSSDH is real nice daytime. Nice to add some UP punch to other herb too, I mix it into indicas at night, so I don't get too tired too fast. If you like all that, and want to amp it up just a notch without corrupting it, check out my yard coming up next week. I have an incredible ECSDH pheno coming in to flower, which is a double down of SSSDH, but instead of Rez ECSD IBL, it's backcrossed to the ECSD clone mother. It's leafs are going all oily and leathery like a full blooded Chem, and it nodes constantly. Smaller in stature than her other phenos, but I got veg space lol.

I might miss a few pages but I'll definitely be back to check out those fowl footed fookers and the rest of your gear

Thanks mate yeah they will probably all grow out of it, I kinda hope they do as I don't want to be working with that strain forever trying to stabilise a leaf shape still waiting on a couple of the smaller ones to get their second set to see if they carry the trait too, definitely 2 main phenotypes so far, one with a lot skinnier longer sativa like leaves, the other all ducky
I have seen you talk about that ECSDH a few times, that from connoisseur too? might have to try get my hands on a couple down the track the SSSDH's are hanging to get into bigger pots, first fans have a lot of pest damage to them, seems they all migrated to the seedlings under the cover of Killer Queen when she was in there, they will bounce back pretty quick once I move them into coco

It's easier to just appreciate weed is like humans and nature, many forms colours and tastes and all have something to offer. Look at the good instead of the bad. And if you smoke too much you'll just be near on immune anyway. Less is more. Was a great article in high times mag back in late 80's about it. I'll try dig it up. Has to do with the receptors in the brain. My thoughts.

I believe that less is more. I would love to see that article. When I was smoking more I started feeling like I wasnt getting as high anymore. Once I slowes down now I smoke one maybe 2 grams a day and feel it alot more

No they won't be.. they'll all be photos..once you cross again you'll get 50%autos 50% photos cross the autos again for 75% f3 f4 100% or cross the auto f2 back into an auto I believe will give you 100% autos, but only 25% of your photo strain in the cross.

That's some interesting stuff with the auto breeding Grizz I read something very similar the other day on Instagram but I couldn't remember what order they were in It was on one of subcools posts about a week or 2 ago, right after they had finished a weed nerd show, Mephisto genetics commented back to them saying it was not him that rang in but then went on to reveal the entire process for autos, I went back to try find it again but it was lost forever was very strange like f2's will give you a pretty stable auto then an f3 will be full photo then f4 will be 100%auto or something like that

I agree, I have always found that with any type of high, mood and company affects how it reacts with your body, could be smoking the same weed for years around the same people in familiar places, take that weed and smoke it somewhere else with someone completely different and might be the most paranoid you have ever been in your life back when I was a lot younger and partying out in the city, extasy was realatively new to the market, we would be on that every weekend, if pumped and hyped up for the weekend it would be one of the best nights of your life, in a somewhat shit mood and the night is over before it begins, glad I got that out of my system while I was still young

I will try find that info again on auto breeding when I get a chance but as I mentioned, Mephisto Genetics, pretty much at the top of the auto seed producing companies imo Grizz covered it though with his reply, a straight up cross will not achieve what you need, may need to do a few crosses to get there, need to also remember that your photo plant will be your mother during the backcrossing stages as autos will not live long enough to even make it to f2 breeding saying that you will need to look into reversing your auto to produce pollen for the photo plant, STS seems to produce the least amount of hermies from what I have read but all comes down to the genetics used in the cross, If going Tiresias mist, don't just get a small bottle and hope its enough, been there, its not Colloidal Silver is the cheapest option and works well, can even make your own very easy but can also use a natural approach by stressing the plant till it throws a few nanners or overflowering the plant, as a last ditch effort to survive the plant will throw nanners to pollinate itself There is a whole heap of awesome info on 420 mag about it all, I wont go into it too much, I am not really up with all the fem breeding stuff these days, much prefer to work with regs and select my own plants rather than phenotypes others have selected

Awesome will be interesting to see if it works as described seems to be similar to the Flora Nectar from what i can see, maybe with a few extra additives I'm using the pineapple FN right now, hope it doesn't affect the taste too much, want to go back to the more flavorless sugar cane one but my hydro shop didn't have them in stock lol
