This northern lights ive got at the moment has that old school "proper pot"
smell i look for. Providing it's dried and cured right.

Reminds me of the good old days when you finally got some "good shit"

I pinched a bud off mine today which i normally never do but i'm smoking
3 year old hermie shit that i found in a container and it tastes like hay.
Been smoking it for a week or so and i'm over it. lol.

That's one I have been wanting to get my hands on, have been looking for a good NL, I reckon the Ortega should be a good example of it NL2 & NL5 from memory I hate coming to the end of my jars, I know there is always something there but tbh a lot of it is shit, go through 50 buds to find one that doesn't want to make you hurl

The fuel smelling strains are my favourite. Has that nice sour taste as well. Mmmm... makes the saliva jet in your mouth. This is my first run in a while without any diesel/og/chem strains in it. Will remedy that in the next run though.

Some of my favorite ones so far are leaning more towards the chem/og varieties, has a much less fruitier smell and more like its going to melt your skin if touched Rollex is smelling really potent, the White Jack in the pollen tent though, man that smell, like a full on spicy hashy incense. They are still not what I want though, I think a nice piney flavored bud mixed with the White Jack would be an absolute spot on plant, just need to find one

Anyone got ideas on a full on pine flavor strain?

I don't think I like sour either when the sd cured up I didn't enjoy it as much as I had prior, lol.. it had a nice fuel/skunky taste at the start then went all grapefruit with a sour finish. I was shattered I didn't just pig out on it when I harvested it, because I loved it. I think 91 chem would be nice..

Yeah I know exactly what you mean, that's almost spot on to what I got from mine, I wouldn't call it a diesel flavor but more leaning towards a grapefruit flavor. Ill give it another go when I harvest these seeds in the pollen tent if its pulled at a decent time and not so early lol, I have a feeling the beefy male I used for the crosses in the pollen tent may have been a different phenotype as he always reaked of lemons, had a much better smell to it I wish the fem smelt the same

I did like the Red Diesel, I think that was done using a NYC Diesel though, didn't have any diesel flavor to it either imo but tasted awesome and had a great stone

Some pics of the drying Incredible Bulk buds, lost a lot of weight but these things are solid as a rock now still needs a bit of a dry trim, some more than others even the popcorn is nice and solid and frosty.

Some Strawberry Cough male pollen from the reveg test, this stuff is like neon yellow under lights, much more yellow than the Cindy Haze pollen same process as the other day, double jarred with silica gel

I've held back from flippin last week and gonna give em another week in veg

Five weeks that'll make it but they were a foot tall when i got em

I've thinned em out once, left em a week, thinned em out again, left em another week - then a third tidy

Selecting the best stems so growth is concentrated towards light

Getting rid of all underlying growth to channel energy into upward growth

Topped em a couple times too with a week in between so many plants have four tops per stem been a fortnight since last topping tho

Channeling the growth has meant that there's been some serious growth surges in any part of the plant possible, all nodes are springing forth

Shit i just found a green fly on my trousers and I've been outside

Hope no hitchhikers have made it into the hallowed space!

here's a few i've taken today - i've been training them to fill a SCROG but i want em taller than last time, hopefully with bigger buds!

it's amazing how ferociously they grow right now, thin em out and next day u can hardly tell they've been thinned lol

Apparently SSS has a pine flavoured strain. Here is the description from the site;

I'm thinking the same mate, got a clone of her ready in the cloner but nowhere to flower her I think it is a female though which is a good start

Had an absolute score this morning, went out junk heap shopping was looking for pot stands, found one, then found a full VS commodore clubsport bodykit sitting on the next pile funny thing is I was looking for a new rear bar for my VR, just saved myself a good few hundred dollars
Got back after about 30 mins driving around, said to dad, so when is all this stuff meant to be picked up because we aint put a pile out yet, he was like, ummm today quickly dumped a whole heap of shit out the front, walked back inside for a smoke and by the time I got back out there the garbage truck was being loaded with our crap just made it in time

Some updates from the pollen tent, everything is looking really seeded which is good, should end up with a decent selection this time around

The Cindy Haze has pretty much done his job, mind you he is one of the tallest plants and for a male the flower structure and node placement is awesome, should be expecting some big colas from his offspring

The Strawberry Diesel x Space Dude #2, looks to be an awesome little plant so far

Killer Queen is living up to my expectations so far, seems to be a much rounder flower cluster like I have seen with other g13 dominant strains, so frosty for her age

Hiding down the back here we have the Night Terror OG, again, tiny little flower clusters on the OG's but damn frosty

Gorilla Bomb is looking to be a solid plant too, getting a nice cola forming now with plenty of seeds

The newest clones, have been in for a few days, I have a feeling the Purple Urkle is male, if that's the case ill give the clone a chop and grab another at a later date when I can give it a run, the back one is Bruce Banner and the front right one is Strawberry Diesel x Space Dude #1

Sour Diesel, this thing looks absolutely to die for in person, so frosty, much better than the big one I grew in the flower tent, full of seeds too

White Jack, this is still one of my favorites in there, she just looks so much different to the others, really looking forward to her seeds the most out of the lot

Rollex OG, I hate the way she looks, the one in the flower tent doesn't look anything like her now, should have cut the N a lot earlier on this one saying that though she is fully seeded up and nice and frosty, looks like what would be rock solid flower formation if not full of seed

Atomic, this thing is so bright its hard to get good pics of, this is with no flash, using my usual torch I have been using for all other pics, held further away from the plant than usual trying to reduce exposure

Incredible Bulk I decided to leave in as it was fully pollinated anyways, whats the worst thing that's going to happen lol, she has come on looking even better in her later days
