The world of breeding is ridiculously enticing. You grow to make more seeds then straight away you want to pop your F1/F2's because you want to know how the genetics have mixed. Too much fun haha. Damn hermies ruin breeding. Toss em in the compost. It sounds like you have a fair few seeds from overseas. Variety of genetics a hoy!

Ahhh the jillybean, I've watched a lot of mendo dope vids and know all about the TGA genetics. I was going to get some of their stuff but I realised I can breed my own dynamite strains so I successfully dodged that hype. I mean TGA have great genetics but their beans are too overpriced imo. Good luck with her/him though as the Jillybean does look like straight up fire

Cheers mate. Spoke to them via email and they said they'll ship it out tomorrow so should be pretty quick. I went for the Hybrid all stars pack, 5 seeds each of 4 different strains + 4 freebies. Seems worth it too me and no hassle of customs so hopefully all goes well and i'll be saying goodbye to all international seed sellers for good. Each to their own brother

For sure I'm at a point now I'm more interested in the breeding side of things than my flower tent that just purrs along by itself not needing much attention at all apart from res changes I have very limited space indoors but the greenhouse already has a whole heap of my own F1's so much fun The SSH I had showed male preflowers in veg, took a week or so in flower for it to be prominent, was pretty happy till about a week later when pistils started busting out straight in the bin for that one Got roughly 150 different strains here in seed form, will probably never get through a lot of it but some standouts in there and packs I want to do full runs of to find my champions

Yeah I'm not up on the mendo dope thing or any of that, not a big rap fan at all unless its oldschool lol, I actually won the Jillybeans from the POTM comp so thought id give them a run after seeing a few of their phenos on Instagram and the likes Id love to be working with local strains and such, I just don't have access to them, I have 2 strains from here and I'm struggling to get one of them going which is the one I want With all the international seeds I have I'm just blazing through looking for standouts, if I find them they will be put aside used later in some breeding projects, will basically be breeding most of my own weed from here on out but there are still a few more I need to get my hands on, I only buy regs now too which pretty much leaves me with a few places to choose from which I like.
That pack sounds like a good mix, should find something decent amongst them

I'm basically looking for something that I want to smoke all day every day like the weed I used to smoke in my teenage years, tastes like weed, gets you high, stoned, wasted, whatever you want to call it I'm not after berry apple tripped out psychedelic daze I figure the only way I'm going to get that is to breed it myself, I wish I would have kept a lot of the seeds I found in my mixes back then but we were young and dumb
Worst part about it is Australia and not naming strains, where do you start? I mean what does a haze taste like? what does skunk taste like? you just don't know unless you experience it for yourself, over here the only way to do that is grow it yourself or travel, I cant afford to travel Then it comes down to who bred the strain and how close it is to the original, I mean you might be smoking something named skunk and it might lean more towards a different parentage, without prior experience you wouldn't know, sux man

I think you might be right there mate Nah I'm not looking to find the exact weed I used to smoke, probably do nothing to me now lol, Mainly looking for that flavor, something I can work with to hopefully breed into a few other strains for different occasions, id like to have a nice energetic pain relieving smoke for during the day, a nice relaxed mellow smoke of an evening and an absolutely paralyzing smoke for when I go to bed so I can actually get a good night sleep almost 2am here and I'm gardening, wide awake

I only started smoking and growing about 4 years ago. Always hated the swazi and other local strains we have here. For me, the fruitier the better. Same with the pure petrol smelling stuff as well. Love that shit.

Man I started smoking when I was in year 7 at high school, got caught with my first bag of leaf by a teacher first real smoke would have been around 14 or 15, we would get absolutely baked and walk down the road to the beach and bodyboard for hours on end, only coming back to get more weed or eat lol, smoked basically my whole life, only gave it up for a few years there when my son was born and the weed went to shit in that time, coming back to it after 4 years you would expect some type of effect but it was all crap, the weed dad was growing outdoors was neglected and wasn't enough to last us through which is what made me start growing indoors Don't get me wrong I don't mind some of these weird fruity strains, just not as a staple, its just not what I'm looking for right now, I'm actually starting to think SSH again, found a bit of info quoted from another forum, it may not be a straight up pine I'm looking for, could also lean towards eucalyptus.

I've realised all my grows have been American or Spanish breeders.. I'm growing the wrong fucking genetics to find what I'm searching for no wondee it taste nothing like what I'm after Americans do like the fruit in their dope though.. and as growing plants they are exciting,the sents are awesome.

I'm after the shit where you'd smoke with friends ' and as feral said,go bodyboarding all day only come back hours later for another smoke.. we'd have a smoke at friends house, go walk the streets for hours. T.v, that was background noise as we'd be stoned laughing conversation flowing, a little tripped out hyper.. oh yeah, the shit stink too, not talking the flowers but the smoke. The house would hold that smell. And it smelt incense churchy hippy.. you'd be a long way from anybody before lighting up. And this isn't because I was young, fond memories. Its genetics and the growing..

Something interesting id like to update on, the Atomic x Sour Diesel's are showing what looks to be the ducksfoot trait, 4/9 so far showing to the second set of leaves, will continue to watch them over the next couple of weeks should be a bloody potent plant too
