Pets...they do something for us..that kind of unconditional love is just something money can't buy. Like when my son tells me I'm the best Mama in the world. No anti depressant could compete with that. Sucks man, especially cause he's not with me but such is the circle of life. I'm grateful for the time I had with him and all his antics.

:green_heart:

Missed you too Gid, always do...I hadn't had a dog since I was a little girl so he was my first technically. Now it will either be I'm coming home with 3 dogs one day or I need a break. But for now, no dogs...my heart..

Thanks! They are working it and so is that little gem outside. Well, last 2 days she has been inside because of the rain that started yesterday afternoon through the eveninh and the storms passing through today. So I have a washing machine green friend for another day. Neem oil works wonders just dont overdo it like me and go crazy and do NOT spray in direct sunlight. Idc how many bugs you see lol just wait or you will burn holes in your leaves like me hahahaha

Awww that is really kind of you to say, thank you. Happy to be here today talking to you guys for sure

:green_heart::hug:

He's in the best hands, my parents treat the dogs like the Egyptians treated their cats. Royalty and beyond. He will be loved on doted on and made to be as comfortable as possible. They already ordered him a ramp and some other accommodations to make life easier for him:love:

It is so hard, thank you and especially now that guess what, TK has Covid! Aayyyyyyyeee so he's home locked in the bedroom praying H and I don't catch it. Stress is like a leech to me.

Awww and thank you for this Positivity. I truly appreciate it. I didn't snip yet, waiting til week 4 to do the deed and it will be Amnesia and Durban when I do. Leaving the Indicas to fatten as they normally would. I was creeping close with a couple DP colas so I fitted the yo yos again for 2 of her mains this morning. One on the right back side of the plant towards Amnesia and the other was a centralized cola that I ran over and behind Marilyn (as is one of Angelina's mains as well). This is good for Durban though since it opens her up, she's a fat thing.

I always have a little magic hidden. I hope you were able to unwind and slept well Bode! We all need a good night's sleep! Yesterday while TK and the baby slept, so did I! Passed out til 1 AM on the couch. No one to bother me although I did wake up to my son laying next to me and wound up in his bed for the remainder of the night with him as my bedroom is now contaminated.

Hey Slap, thanks brother I appreciate you reaching out. Raining here but I think it's gonna last through the day, Tstorms in the afternoon also so just be careful driving this way. I'm in Beachwood, I'd say stop by and smoke while you're down the shore since I'm right here but with TK and Covid, that's a no go right now. 2 more weekends of traffic then you can come to the shore in half the time lol

So hello again. Promised I would be back today with a little focus on Geneva, our G-13 photoperiod. It was not happening, me getting her out of the tent, lol. But I did manage to get some shots as I pushed some plants out of the way and contortioned myself in the tent in odd ways. Luckily Marilyn is decently easy to move, probably 50#, so she was taken out to give me a little room to work.

Before moving onto her, I had to do something with Uma today, her colas were not at the light but they were too close for the soon to be fattening buds. So I super cropped two of her mains today as noted in the communication with Bode, above.

This left the tents canopy far more even and also opened up a lot of space for light penetration as well.

While Marilyn our NYC Diesel, was out of the tent, I grabbed a couple shots of her royal thickness

It's hard to see behind DP and this fat short lady you just saw so here's a pic of just these two

One of Angelina's mains was calling to me for a little photo of her developing buds and trichomes and just to compare colors (as I touched on very briefly yesterday), a bud of Uma's as well.

And finally the pics of our G-13. This Indica has heavy sedation properties and is known to be a one hit and quit. In fact, my first smoke of her 2 years ago, I did take a break after one hit. She was fire. This is a powerhouse medicinal smoke.

I had to trim her predecessor, G, by myself, took me 16 hours. I won't forget that. Just telling myself, keeeeeep going! Don't stop won't stop can't stop! But the reward from her plentiful bounty was so worth it.

She is a fast finisher and her buds are Indica dense and very resinous. She smells of earthy dank, orange and lemon while in flower. I have never known her to have any color but I see a singular leaf showing some sort of color coming on. Idk where that is stemming from but, it's cool, I'll take it.

G-13 is the strain featured in the film, American Beauty, if you guys remember that crazy ass psychological drama. One of our competitor's voted this strain, the "Best High of All-Time".

We will delve more into G-13 over the next 5 weeks but until we do, a cornucopia of photos of her for you to enjoy.

I think that wraps up this morning's update. Thanks for all the puppy and grow love and all the other love you guys show me every day. I am grateful for all of you, some of the best friends I've never met. Hopefully one day I will. Couple more PMs to answer and I will be caught up again, thankfully.

Enjoy your grow Friday from rainy NJ!
Sativas and Supercropping go together like Jack and Coke. Happy growing Jersey and hope you n the little one stay Plague free. CL🍀. :thumb: :circle-of-love:

That's a happy, healthy bunch Joisey! :Rasta:

You don't even know the half of it

:passitleft:

Just been trying to take it easy this week...needed a mind break

You never went back to see the last post! Buuut cause I love you I'll post again anyway! Lol these don't have the captions though as my last post did Sunday though!

She is a really pretty gal and yes, but technically no, now that we super cropped her! May have to do it to her other main also, the rest of her colas arent nearly as tall.

Close in height? No. She is sitting on an upside down 3gl pot so she is many inches away from the other two but like Angelina, Geneva, grew these two super long pigtails for colas also. Together when you look at them side by side, they look like two Pippi Longstockings lol

She is and she is getting nice and thick and all 4 are very sticky! Durban may have some kind of coloring going on by the looks of her pistils but I know Amnesia, G-13, and NYC Diesel have bever shown me colors in the past come flower....we shall see though what this tent brings.
Sorry for the downtime on here, I know I've been gone since Sunday. Hope you have a had a great week though, missed talking to you and my friends here for sure!

Yea the pics are OK.....I am glad you actually like me for something more than my plant pictures lol my apologies though for not being able to amuse you with my wit and lack of true charm last few days. I did watch the Pope's Exorcist btw and I LOVED it. I think it was the first good flic in that genre I have seen since the OG Exorcist. It felt real and not just cause it was based off of true events. I was in a certain place in my head the last few days and the realness of it all just kind of hit me and reminded me of the forces of good and evil.

Hey hey there C girl. Sorry lady Belle, didn't mean to just go away for a few days. Weather is cooler here but certainly not cold! How cold is sooo cold?! I didn't think it got that chilly by you thus tike of the year! We are actually going into the upper 80s and low 80s thing now and nights are around 65. I did look at the extended forecast though and we have 3 nights next week that will be 55, 57 and 58! Hope it doesn't startle good old Aurora out back too much. Hope you got some comfy sweats to throw on and some fuzzy socks-man oh man do I love comfy clothes and fuzzy socks or slippers in the winter-i loathe socks in the summer though...hope your plants are doing well and you are having a great week though girlie, I'll be coming over to check on your grow and catch up on here today and tomorrow, so much happens in 4 days!

So guys and gals again my apologies for my absence. I had to go and do some cleaning over at the Hoarders house again as well as some organizing, put together 2 bed frames and a chandelier. TK is back to work but got sick, my special time has come again which always sucks balls (for lack of better terminology) and lastly but most importantly, my dog was diagnosed with cancer.

I was just talking about him last week on Stinker's page to Clover, I had him since 6 weeks old and is now about to be 10 in January. After my divorce I moved back with my parents and took my dogs with me. They had dogs so our dogs became a family. Then my parents moved to Florida and didn't want to separate the dogs because they had gotten so close so she took my chocolate lab and my dorkie with them. My dorkie I adopted at around 2 years old she is now 14. I only see them when I visit or they visit and drive up and they get to stay here with me.

Needless to say when I was in the hospital, they found out and didn't want to tell me. It was a sarcoma. Then it was bad news thinking it was an osteosarcoma but then doc said it wasn't! Went for the surgery consult after being told it would cost my parents 10k to buy him another couple of years, the surgeon says it's inoperable now. It's wrapped around his hind leg and removal would rupture too many arteries. At his age, amputation is no longer an option. Radiation is terrible for the dogs and makes them sick, so no tumor shrinking. My baby boy is going to have to just be pampered for however long he has left. But 28 hour trips in the car idk if that's going to happen again for him and I don't see me getting to Florida to see him anytime soon so my heart is just broken. And being its my special time and I've been recovering from being depressed and anxious as is, this was a blow.

But anyway, I did take some pictures as the week went on in preparation for when I did come back on and post an update and resume rounds and get back to PMs again. So we didn't miss out top much, we kind of have an onslaught of pics so bare with me some.

Bubblegum is now Day 45 and Day 15 of Flower and she is still out of a tent as I didn't care for her being in the zippered mesh I had purchased. I check her for bugs every morning, she has a little residual damage from the neem oil attack I gave her but other than a couple of those spots, she is pretty glorious for a dainty, small thing. At 28 inches, I believe she has now stopped stretching.

And the other girls are doing swell. They got their dry amendment toppings over the last 3 days as they all got fed. They are all on Humboldt's Flower Stacker, Durban and Amnesia both received the 2.5 ml after receiving 1.25 ml on the first silica +Stacker dose. The remaining two will be fed their 2.5ml doses tomorrow and the following day. We go up incrementally with this feed as it has a tendency to cause nute burn.

Couple of pics to show how quickly Durban Poison and Amnesia are drinking-DP is slightly the more thirsty gal

We will come back on the next update with yet another Plant of the Day. We focused on G-13 and Amnesia photos on Sunday but we didn't do a Plant of the Day per say as originally intended because of the super crop documentation of Angelina. So this time, we will go back to Geneva and talk some more about this curious government strain. But without further adieu, I present to you the last four days with the girls.....

Thanks for coming by friends, sending you much grow and all kinds of other love on this cloudy grow Thursday here in New Jersey......
I love plants in flower. Beautiful

Highya Krissi,

We have the same rain storm up here today. Good day to stay inside! I love looking at all the ladies! Thank you for your effort in getting the pictures today! I'm fascinated by the G-13. Not only does she look really nice, but supposed to be a one hit wonder! I'm hoping I can find some seeds for next year's grow! Just what I've been looking for. NYC Diesel looks much bigger by herself. She's got some nice colas! Hoping to see those gigantic buds like the last time you did the back building thing. So awesome!
Yeah, I'm hoping you don't get the Covid. And your little one! I hope you're getting enough rest, and staying as stress free as possible! Happy Smokin'

Your plants look magnificent Krissi! Gosh it's a lot you have going on, testing your fortitude. I'm really sorry your doggy is so ill, and yikes about the covid :( Stay safe!

Aaaah you make me laugh Clover, thank you for your perpetual humor and light you bring to my journal my Irish robed buddy :green_heart:
That's a happy, healthy bunch Joisey! :Rasta:
Thanks my friend, means a lot. It's so funny whenever I hear Joisey cause my son is learning that "Joisey" is all about who's off or what's off of what exit and is very confused as to why we drive on the parkway lol
Looking good, Krissi :yummy:
That Durban bud sure is pretty! I loved my 4800
Hey Stinky. Thanks buddy, I know you did and you ran fantastic plants with it! The Durban is something new for me so she's enchanting already with those colors coming in!
Lovely visages your way! Careful this week.
I believe so Stone!! Looking forward to them! And I will, already feeling my throat scratchy and some pressure in my sinuses-the latter is usually a tell tale sign for me that I've got it working up, hope not but I can't say I haven't felt something like this before. Fingers crossed for the baby.
I love plants in flower. Beautiful
Oh me too, me too, my brother. Love it so much. It's fascinating. Why I like the butterflies and caterpillars, too. Changes every day. It's humbling.
Highya Krissi,

We have the same rain storm up here today. Good day to stay inside!
Yes! No outdoors for me unless I have to go get TK a Paxlovid script!
I love looking at all the ladies! Thank you for your effort in getting the pictures today!
Absolutely, try to do something similar with every other post as we finish up. Just so much change to show off!
I'm fascinated by the G-13. Not only does she look really nice, but supposed to be a one hit wonder! I'm hoping I can find some seeds for next year's grow! Just what I've been looking for.
I think she will be excellent for you, fantastic for so many things and isn't squat like I know you steer away from, she has some height with her girth for more medicine for you in the end.
NYC Diesel looks much bigger by herself. She's got some nice colas! Hoping to see those gigantic buds like the last time you did the back building thing. So awesome!
I'm hoping the same! Going to do the same and leave one or two untouched to show the difference as we did with the GGSLH.
Yeah, I'm hoping you don't get the Covid. And your little one! I hope you're getting enough rest, and staying as stress free as possible! Happy Smokin'
Me too, odds are not in my favor with my immune system but fingers crossed, Bode! Have a great night!
Your plants look magnificent Krissi!
Thanks so much Carmen! They love the love, believe me! They are praying now in the dark listening to you and our friends!
Gosh it's a lot you have going on, testing your fortitude. I'm really sorry your doggy is so ill, and yikes about the covid :( Stay safe!
I always feel like it's always something but I have to put things into perspective and I know full well there are so many others out there who are struggling every second and for greater reasons than my own so I have learned to try to become mindful of that when I'm feeling overly inundated...it works for the most part! As for my Brick, my pup, now my old man. Just stinks so much, he is the sweetest boy and I know everyone says that about their dogs but his between the legs hugs are just the bestest!
we’re headed to SIC, probably leave after lunch and get in behind the rain hopefully.

Take care
Right on, be careful brother and have fun, supposed to be nice this weekend!

With having to go over and do some stuff at the hoarding house this week, getting my son ready for pre-school next week, my poor dog, Ryan having been sick most of the week and now getting hit with Covid finally coming on the last couple days, I've been limited to time so I do apologize again for not being around more and if I don't go into another detailed journal for a couple days, don't hate me but I will try to check in.

Just wanted to make sure I played my part today and got back to everyone who has been so kind to me in understanding my crazy life. For that I wanted to have at least one good journal day this week where I was able to spend some time with you before life swept me back into a whirlwind, this is in case, I get sick, too.

So in the midst of trying to maintain the house and sanitizing everything in an attempt to stay Covid free and not have to do that, I wound up cleaning everything and even doing a necessary clean on our Australian Tree Frog's tank

There were some peaks of sunshine before more clouds came in for the second round of storms. I had thought about bringing Aurora outside but it just was super gusty and ultra humid and the clouds came back with light rain before I could even make a decision so here she is now and how she will remain, until tomorrow morning.

That's all for today! Going to go and take some cold and flu tabs and check on my son currently reeking havoc in the playroom while I post! Thank you for being a friend 🎶 🎵

Oof! :goodluck: and Paxlovid worked great for me, symptom-wise.
Nothing for me yet, I'm praying it passes me up this round!

Today marks Day 22 of Flower for the tent! Entering week 4 which means, BACK-BUILDING BUDS is coming soon to a grow journal near you! It also marks halfway through flower for our quick finishers, NYC Diesel. She had a tendency to push 9-10 weeks but for the most part, growers are able to harvest between 8-9 weeks of flower. The sativas will obviously take us longer and G-13 won't be too far off from NYC Diesel, with a flowering time of 9-10 weeks.

The tent looks strong today, the force is in all 4 of these ladies

But today I wanted to touch on Durban Poison. She will finish before Amnesia for sure, that girl takes a looooong time.....but just based off specs on this seed strain, this is a quick Sativa finisher, only needing 10 weeks to come to fruition rumors say some have seen completion in 8, idk about that one though). We can already see the vast difference in bud development between our two sativas as Angelina is taking her time bulking but building lots and lots of trichomes while Uma is already bulking and pistils are changing color as her trichomes continue to develop further.

I am beginning to see the smaller, thinner leaves as Uma grows up, especially now that we have gotten rid of the super big Indica looking starter leaves from the bottom of the plant.

Pure Highland Durban Posion is said to have originated from the land of the Zulu people. The Pondoland area happens to be right next to the province where Durban is located and is home to nearly a million small-scale cannabis cultivators. Deemed, South Africa’s Emerald Triangle, it is likely that these families and their ancestors had been the traditional cultivators of Durban Poison. It is found hidden away in rare locations in high mountain valleys. Because of its demographic, Durban plants are tall and slender with extremely large Indica type leaves.

A local regular variety from KwaZulu-Natal South Africa in Durban, it germinates quickly. Its leaves and stems are robust and expediently, the plant shows vigorous and accelerated vegetative growth with large, thin and very serrated leaves-a very typical feature of this South African strain. The petioles are long, some take purple or variegated shades of green and purple and stems can sometimes be dark purple to even black come end of flower.

Until another Durban informational update, I leave you today with the photos of our Plant of the Day, "Uma"-super furry for a Sativa if you ask me......

I've got to do some food shopping today and get my son and I out of the germy house but I will be checking back on here whenever I can get a break from the daily current only parent grind while TK is down with Covid. See you all around the forum, have a wonderful grow Saturday!

Damn if Uma didn’t fatten up quickly, I would never presume to know better than you Jersey n I never grew a Durban. But I know most Sativas don’t like much N when flowering and you have to watch nute burn 🔥 carefully. I was and still am diluting the PB and gradually lowered the Core B. Beautiful 🤩 lady that Uma is n looks like she’s going to make a lot of great medicine. Happy growing my little Italian robed sister friend. CL🍀. :thumb: :cheer:

Highya Krissi,

Uma is on a jazz!! She's full of gorgeous colas/buds!! What a looker. Everyone in the tent is so gorgeous! You haven't lost any grow talent!!
Yeah, I hope you don't get the Covid! You're doing well, and I hope that doesn't change. Is this a new thing, to take a few days off to spend more time with family and house chores? Good to know. Happy Smokin'

Very impressive buds Krissi I love your plants you are a hell of a good cannabis grower. I hope TK gets over the covid fast and you stay safe and healthy.
Hey Keith, good afternoon! Thanks so much on both regards! Makes me all warm and fuzzy!

Thanks my Irish Robed Wonder. You know, I used to water 2 silica then next feed do 2 nutes and alternate that way. This grow, I have been feeding a 1:1 ratio gl for every gl and I have had 0 nute issues. I think this is my golden watering way moving forward. I've ran sativas before and never had to drop down anything on PBlend, I don't intend to with these 2 sativas unless I have to but I've had success with PBlend's N mix as is throughout the entire grow. We shall see, if I need to adjust this time, of course I will. Excited to see just how much medicinal smoke this one is gonna bring me though, she's HEFTY HEFTY HEFTY....LOL
Highya Krissi,
Hi there Bode!
Uma is on a jazz!! She's full of gorgeous colas/buds!! What a looker.
She definitely takes the show but when you look at the others individually, i feel like they all offer so much to the tent overall!!
Everyone in the tent is so gorgeous! You haven't lost any grow talent!!
I sure hope not or I'd be in trouble with these girls!
Yeah, I hope you don't get the Covid!
Gosh me too!

Eh I guess it has seemed like that. May be my way of not being overwhelmed and just being where I can when I can and not trying to have myself in 5 places at once trying to do too many things and getting anxious. Plus, yes, been trying to reward TK for time spent inside with me when he's making the effort so I try to give him my time when he makes the effort to give me his....and as we all know, time is a hot commodity for all of us!
Wow, those Uma colas are stunning!
Thank you C! She is splendid! Definitely not my typical sativa, actually reminds me of how the GGSLH grows her buds but this Durban is much heartier and wide, GGSLH tends to be much more spindly with less girth.

Before I went back to laundry, I grabbed some quick photos of Aurora who is finally back outside after 48 hours of being housed for inclimate weather.

She seems to be enjoying her time back out in the NJ shore wilderness

Catch you all on here a little later! Thanks for the :green_heart:

Thanks Keith. He's a charmer that frog prince! 🐸 👑

He is quite rad this little guy. Loves his crickets lol and yes, super long...i think I need the one name thing, like Madonna, you know.....

No matter what comes out of my mouth, it has a tendency to sound dirty. Could just be my head twisting words but it's all good, we are all adults here....:rofl:

Flip Day 31 is huge in this tent Krissi! I'm loving this Durban!

Highya Krissi,

Bubblegum looks very nice. She'll pack on some fine bud I hope. She has room for it.

When I first talked to you in your journal, my first thought was that you're industrious. Seems to be a correct assumption. Glad to see you take time for family, though! Any little way you can salvage more time for them, the better for everyone.

Football season is here, so I'll leave your journal here, and pick up again another time. Happy Smokin'

Hi Stone! :thanks: I'm loving it too! I think she is the fan favorite this grow and rightfully so! The others are pretty great, too, though!:cheer:
Highya Krissi,
Hi my friend
Bubblegum looks very nice. She'll pack on some fine bud I hope. She has room for it.
She does, Bubblegum has always provided super dense Indica nuggets so though she may be small, we will get a few good OZs from her!
When I first talked to you in your journal, my first thought was that you're industrious. Seems to be a correct assumption.
I am. I like to make things work and know how they work. I do not shy away from hard work, ever. Thats how this country was built-ill always be more industrious than technological-may be a character flaw but it may also be my saving grace.
Glad to see you take time for family, though! Any little way you can salvage more time for them, the better for everyone.
Balance. I keep saying it and Ill keep saying it. Finding, striking and maintaining the balance in my life is key to my emotional, mental and physical well being.
Football season is here, so I'll leave your journal here, and pick up again another time. Happy Smokin'
Yes it is!!! College football is on now and I am stoked! I went to Ohio State so I root for them but oddly enough, my other 2 fave college teams are Bama and Oregon!

DAYS 73/74/75: DAY 32 FLIP

So happy Sunday grow day folks. Just checking in briefly today with some "shots from above". Tent was partially opened for the following photos after feeding our Durban and Amnesia, Uma and Angelina. Both took over 2 gls today to get to run off in the reserves.
G-13, Geneva, will be fed tomorrow and then NYC Diesel, Marilyn, Tuesday.

Bubblegum was fed outside yesterday, another 3/4 gl-that seems to be her max. All plants are on Prescription Blend Nutrients Weeks 3/4 Flower. Bubblegum is NOT receiving Humboldt's Flower Stacker.

In case you were wondering about my caterpillars, they are doing fabulous. They've shed many skins since you have seen them last, from black to brown to yellow and light green. Next phase is bright neon green and that will be their last pupation before slowing down and building their final chrysalis.

That's all I got for today, head is feeling a little eh right now, baby says his nose hurts, TK has the stomach end of the virus right now. It's less than peachy in the house but all seems right in the tent at least. I'll leave you with these photos and catch you all around the forum. Have a wonderful Sunday my friends!
