If anyone has any other questions about this technique feel free to ask! I snipped a total of 4 times throughout the 5 weeks of back building we did. I probably could have done 5 but I didn't want to stress her out too much. Needless to say, this GGSLH's colas were beasts come trim time.
Are you saying you came back to the same buds and trimmed 1/16 " off 4 times? Or different buds?

Honestly brother Clover, it was so hard to think of how to trim them. I was just cutting them the colas up in sections and worked from there but the whole time I was like damn, this was a good idea!

Thanks so much Keith!

Thanks a bundle Lady Carmen!! I had never seen anything like it, I didn't have expectations anywhere near the end result. I do have to consider though, other methods like super cropping with the two taller gals because I don't think just back-building will be enough to keep them where I want them from the @Mars Hydro FC4800....we shall see what I can maneuver, possibly with TK's help, to make this a more comfortable environment for them as they continue to grow. My 1st Amnesia was super cropped as well as she also got large, but these 2 sativas are my tallest girls ever. 61.25 and 62.5 inches, Uma and Angelina, respectively.
That’s one trim jail I wouldn’t mind spending a little time in. Super cropping works miracles. I was doing it daily during my tent Tigers stretching phase and also to fill in thin spaces of the canopy. Have a wonderful weekend n hit yer @MagicStone a few times for me (Just no Indica please) my little Italian growing Goddess friend. lol. CL🍀. :thumb: :circle-of-love:

Hi Mark, :thanks: :green_heart:

Went back to the same ones friend Stone!
That technique is different than I've read on in the past and used before. I'm thinking this is a huge part of the magic! I've only seen it done once and done. Now I'm back to being interested! I've done it several times and I can't say it had any gain in my garden so I gave it up. Watching you grow these hulks of colas you had me scratching my head! Thought it was related to the fact they were so sativa in their growing but now I think it was your method and maybe that they were that in addition! I'm back in! :thanks:

Thanks for that ,they turned out really nice :bravo:
Appreciate that, it was all a learning experience for me that go round. See what we can do this time bud.

I will wait impatiently for you to start your tiny snipping! I was told it works best with sativas but the girl in the pic was my Indica dominant GGSLH...even though she grows very Sativa like. Any tall plants, I am willing to try it on and this go round, looks like we have 2 so I'll be snipping before you and I'll be sure to post here. I hope that we can both get fantastic results this time around with back-building our buds, Stone!

So hello hello all! Tent girls have been off the radar for a couple days, the outdoor Bubblegum Auto is still out of any enclosure and seems to be happy just jiving in the wind.

Last two days of heat over here in NJ, today and tomorrow, temps in the 90s then it's back down to pre fall weather! Upper 70s and very low 80s moving forward with nights averaging around 66.

I went into the tent and supercropped a few branches on Angelina our Amnesia and slightly on Uma, our Durban. My main focus was to get that darn super long cola away from the lights on the Amnesia. I was tired of burning the edges of her leaves and worried a baby nugget would be next. So I fastened a yo yo with a black tip tie to one of the bottom tent poles in order to keep her pulled down. Seems to have worked out pretty well thus far!

With that said, while I was maneuvering around, I got some shots that we normally wouldn't see with a full tent. I didn't go per say on a Plant of the Day with Geneva, the G-13, as I had originally planned, but we do have a fee extra photos of her along with some two-fers of her and our Amnesia.

It's hard to get pics of the full tent anymore with our tall and wide Durban and fat NYC Diesel taking up so much space but that's ok, we will work around the big girls is all.

I'm really excited to top the girls off with some dry amendments tomorrow, I think this is going to be a really nice dose of vitamins for them as they push into Week 3 of Flowering in just a few days. A few of these strains are only 8 weekers so it's all going to be happening really fast! Defoliation again last night in order to get some room for further air flow and light penetration as we bulk up.

Along with the tent photos, I am also dropping some photos of Aurora outside last night as the evening sun was above her. She gets moved (gently) for 2 different day parts as of the last day and into this morning. I have my patio that gets great sun early and then situated off to the side some, she is moved to get to strongest mid to late day sun.

I just housed a turkey sausage, egg and cheese croissant as I had neglected to eat but a PBJ yesterday. I have a couple PMs to check up on and answer but luckily, I am caught up with journals!

And that's that!

Nothing else to note for now, so without further adieu a spread of our 66/67/68 Day Old, Day 16 Flower tented photoperiods and our 41 Day Old, Day 11 Flower Autoflower:

Enjoy your Sunday Grow Days!!!!

Lovely girls, Krissi!

Are you running that light on full power?

Tent plants look fantastic. Very nice. Well done.
Hey there Slapa :welcome: to NJ! Thanks so much, I appreciate the good vibes! You have anything growing on right now yourself?!
Lovely girls, Krissi!

Are you running that light on full power?
Awww hi GDB! Thank you!!!! 100% power on the dimmer, although I ran 45% all through veg. Started increasing by 5% a day when we flipped to 12/12 til I got to the full 480.

I was running the @Cultiuana CT-720 over the winter but these girls are thriving just the same off nearly half the wattage. The plants really do love the combination of wattage, Samsung diodes and color spectrum the FC4800 offers.

No Problem. I’m just across the river actually.
I do have a journal I started yesterday. Just flipped 10 days ago and a few in Veg.
My journal
I think it’s in my signature also.

Well hey there neighbor! It sure is, don't mind if I add it to my journals to check out do you?

I remember on your last grow when you trimmed the buds and how big they got!
Hi Gid! Surprised me as much as it did you, just how big those colas got!
Plants look awesome.
:thanks::green_heart:
You would be proud, trying my hand at a tomato sauce with all the tomatoes we got. They are all simmering down as Hilary drops a little rain on our heads. Happy Sunday!!
Batter down the hatches and eat some good food! I am so proud of you, makes it taste so much better knowing they are YOUR tomatoes!! Just so you know, we are both saucing it today! I've got tomatoes coming out of my ears over here and an Italian girl can never have enough sauce!

Have an awesome Sunday friend and enjoy that sauce! Hoping it's on your menu tonight!

Highya Krissi,

I love stewing tomatos on the woodstove! Reducing them down always tastes so good! I have found a great recipe for that. Beans, reduced tomatos, and rice, with garlic powder, oregano, basil, cumin, and chili powder. Takes awhile to get the seasonings right, but is so good, and good for us. This year, I'm going to wash tomatos and freeze like that. Thawing out - put in water, in a few minutes the skin is thawed and comes right off!!
So, what are you making with your tomatos? I always thought it would be fun to own and operate (do the cooking) a bed and breakfast! Meet a lot of people and get all those compliments on the cooking!! Happy Smokin'

Having homegrown tomatoes whenever you need them is just heaven to me!
So, what are you making with your tomatos?
more sauce. Italians and sauce, you know? Can never have enough! $8 sauce jars are just ridiculous and they don’t taste good!

Me too! I really want a food truck or restaurant but that would be my life. Maybe when I retire and grow my bud I'll start the 1st "Bed, Bud and Breakfast" with tours of my many greenhouses. tents and "taste-testing" included in the price. :green_heart:
