All of those plants are so hairy! Lovely Joisey! :Rasta:

I get the drive for DP. Ive never smoked it, my sisters fave, thats why I even asked about it in the first place and Shed helped me out with that. Everything she is doing is new and exciting and surprising and soon to be rewarding for me. I am taking her all in right now, mental grow notes are abound!

I do really enjoy this product. It's not every day you see daily changes using an additive. This is an exception. Every day it cakes on and on. I am always surprised to see the changes week by week.

Take care?! What are you leaving me? Where you think you're running off to other than trim jail with all that fantaz ball bud you're taking down?! I am doing OK, couples therapy went less than stellar yesterday, kind of inched me the wrong way but I am remaining optimistic and believing in the process as our therapist says lol

Hiii Bode-a-roo!

Thank you!!!

Well I certainly wasn't planning on taking any just yet but since @Gidorah asked, I figured why not, sure!

I think so, I have Geneva and Marilyn that may finish at 8-9 weeks and they say Durban is a short sativa with 8-9 weeks for harvest but idk about that for Uma. Angelina is going to be a 10 week girl for sure so the last plant I will harvest will be her I'm sure, 2nd week of October I guess. Could be pulling the Hybrid and Indica end of the month but to be safe, 1st and 2nd weeks of October sound more reasonable. Either way, I'm happy to be in trim jail alongside you, whether we are in different states or not!

Oh sounds fantastic!! I love all of that bad for you fair food, omg cheese fries and funnel cakes (I just got a mix for home though!) Do you have Chicago dogs there? What is a doughboy?!!! Have a most wonderful time with Julie at the fair today. Happy Veteran's Day Bode and thank you for your service and to all our veterans across the site!

Now that we got our catch up update post done, we snuck in some trichome shots and now it is time for us to work into our Plant of the Day!

Before we go into Angelina, our Amnesia mutant sativa who topped herself early on, I wanted to help you all out with differentiation of the tent ladies. So here are a few photos of the tent and all the ladies within, tagged and ready for your overview.

I did want to start this off with a throwback of my nearly finished NYC Diesel, Limelight, at 7 weeks in comparison to Marilyn who is almost at 4 weeks

And a current NYC Diesel, Marilyn cola

****it was like 230 in the morning when I uploaded these photos and mistakenly wrote G-13 on the pic but it's NYC Diesel...oops forgive me!

Not too shabby of a girl we have here with Marilyn if you ask me, her sister was amazing smoke and a beautiful plant who never wilted during drought, just some yellowing leaves. She stayed tough and turgid throughout and I feel as if Miss Marilyn will follow suit and then some!

So back to the tent pics with "Who's on First" shots. Geneva and Marilyn were fed yesterday and this morning and the two sativa ladies will be fed again tomorrow

And finally, the moment we have aaaaaaaaallllllllll beeeeeeeeennnnnn waaaaaaiiiiiiting foooooooor.....PLANT OF THE DAY featuring our mutant, self-topped Amnesia sativa, ANGELINA!

She hasn't gotten much love being in the back of the tent. Not to mention she was a mutant and wasn't really paid much attention to earlier on as she was smaller than the others. Low and behold though, she grew two super long colas-longer than even our Durban Poison, out of her once small self and the remainder of the body of the plant, although it's here there and everywhere because of her odd beginning, is truly beginning to put on its own show!

-Amnesia happens to be one of the first marijuana strains in the world. All cannabis strains that bear its name all originated from it which is something super awesome to say you have going on in your tent.

-Deemed a cannabis super strain, born in 1996, Amnesia (not Amnesia Haze) is still one of the most coveted smokes in today's stoner society, and has created an army of Amnesia-related hybrids.

-A relatively tall plant with slim, resinous buds that show lighter coloring than most others; This happens because of the lack of chlorophyll in this particular strain. The lack of this pigment doesn’t change much however, besides the fact that the plant takes longer to finish.

-Expect a flowering time between 10-16 weeks

-Amnesia strains are hugely popular amongst the cannabis community. This can largely be attributed to the flavours, aromas and effects they produce.

That is all I have for today my green loving friends and fam, have a fantastic grow day! Orientation for little ones Pre-School today at 4, wish the little man luck!

Ooooh and here's Gid again....

Anytime brother!

We are all gonna be trimming together it seems! Indoors or out, it's looking like October is our trim fingie month! We all better rest up!
First thing I’m not going anywhere prolly till October. Then it’s down to Florida for a couple of weeks if the $ holds out for a much needed vacation. But because of that I’m not going to start growing anything until I get back. So after I finish this harvest I’ll be closing my Journal. But I have a question for you about your Angelina. Does having less Chlorophyll make it cure faster? All your ladies are looking 👀 beautiful as always my robed little Italian friend. Happy growing Jersey. CL🍀. :thumb: :cheesygrinsmiley:

Highya Krissi,

Quick note before I head off to dreamland. All the ladies look so gorgeous. Then I notice, it's only been 27 days, actually 36 days from flip. But even so, they're so fat!! It's hard to believe it's even possible. Yet, it's common place in your tent! I see your journal as often as you post, and I still can hardly believe. Lovely to look at! Angelina has some very nice looking buds. Thanks for showcasing her, and a little background, as well.
Okay, time to go! Happy Smokin'

Daymn. Your garden looks awesome
Hey Rug, thanks bud, hope you have an awesome weekend!:passitleft:
Beautiful simply Beautiful Krissi and your buds will put you in trim jail for a while. Krissi your grows are second to none. Great job. :goodjob: :thumb::circle-of-love:
You are far too kind to me good Sir. Just trying to do a little better each grow, learn as much as I can here and implement what seems to work as best I can! Means a lot though, gives me confidence for sure :thanks: :green_heart:
All of those plants are so hairy! Lovely Joisey! :Rasta:
Hi GDB, thank you friend! They are so so hairy!! Like more than usual for some reason....
You know it's funny, I keep hearing this in my head reading that and I have to share.

So I'm Italian and Greek, blessed with great hair but a lot of it. I go to get my face parts waxed like any good Italian girl so we don't remind our better halves they have a part Sasquatch as a romantic partner, and the place I used to go to-the daughter of my wax girl was there all the time, sweet little thing. But the first day she saw me back there in the waxing chair, in her super Vietnamese accent yelled, "Oh Mommy she so so hairy, hairy like monkey!"

Aaah I will never forget that. Okaaaaaay moving on
Lovely plant pics! Have a very good orientation this afternoon at the pre-school!
Hey C girl! Did they have Carmen San Diego in SAfrica? That's all I can think of when I see your name, a long red trench coat and high heels lol

We had the best time! He took control of the class, sat right at the main table where all the parent pamphlet packets were. First to get there and last to leave. He was so excited to be around new friends and in a classroom filled with new toys. I'd add a pic of him there with the back of his head but the room is full of children and parents who I don't know if they smoke yet....soon to find out though lol need to find those "good mom friends" I don't have

Well I hope you go and enjoy yourself and dont forget about me while you are gone!
I’ll be closing my Journal. But I have a question for you about your Angelina. Does having less Chlorophyll make it cure faster?
You know what....it does. She was a quick dry if I remember correctly, both her and her MC. Guess it makes up for the extra weeks you spend waiting on her to finish lol
All your ladies are looking 👀 beautiful as always my robed little Italian friend. Happy growing Jersey. CL🍀. :thumb: :cheesygrinsmiley:
Thank you so much my Irish robed friend. You have a bounty ahead of you and a vacation ahead, I would just be puffing my @MagicStone and loving life right now if I were you!
Angelina is another example of a mutant turning out to be quite the looker, and you did a great job with the confectioners sugar there!
Yes! Please friends, do NOT throw away your weirdo plants! Simon, my Big Bull last grow round was another people said to trash. Bubs, my 1st Bubblegum, a former PHOTM and NOTM winner, was once ugly. They have a way of unconditionally giving and providing these plants. The mutants tend to be fiercer smokes from what I have seen. Idk if that initial stress changes their dynamic inside but I have had nothing but ridiculous smoke from mutant plants.
Just looked it up and I took mine at 69 days...of course your mileage may vary. :)
Thank you so much for checking! So what Dutch Passion says is true! Wow! Thats a seed bank first
They’re looking fantastic. Keep doing whatever you’re doing… it’s working 💪💪🤙🤙✌️
Hey Slap, thanks so much brother, cruising this grow, can't believe it's the start of Week 4 today!
Highya Krissi,
Hi there Bode! Nothing about the fair?! How was it? What did you eat? Did you go on the ferris wheel? I love the ferris wheel!
Quick note before I head off to dreamland. All the ladies look so gorgeous. Then I notice, it's only been 27 days, actually 36 days from flip. But even so, they're so fat!! Thank you, they thank you! I am amazed we have this kind of girth at this juncture. 28 days flower today gives us 4 weeks in and the opportunity to back build and make these big buds even bigger! Gosh, I can't wait to see! Glad you enjoyed a little Angelina time, Amnesia really is such a beautiful strain to grow, she deserves the spotlight and you all deserved the breakdown and focus on her. Talk to you later today!

So it's either I am falling asleep at 9 or I'm up til 4. Can't really seem to find a happy median with sleep but that's ok, I'm feeling like my ducks are in a row and not tripping balls at a rave anymore so I can handle the weird sleep patterns until I get my G-13, she should help me cruise into sleep just fine with her one hit and quit capacity. Especially droughted, sheeesh...this is what the government needed to use to calm Hitler the f down way back when....

But anyway, today is the start of Week 4 Flower. This means it is back building time! I'm going to go in there and spend some time Sunday night picking a few to snip-a-roo. Aaah that rhymed...trade ya a pickle for a nickel, oooootttttaaaaaayyyyy... that also rhymed. Joint for who knows where that line is from....old schoooooool. See this is all bud does to me at this point in my insomnia, I sound like a flipping loon.

I decided after the girls woke up, that I needed to feed 3 today, DP and Amnesia are drinking fast right now and they can't make it 3 days anymore like the other 2. 2 days is their max and they get a little over 2gl each with each feed.

We are on Stacker 5 soon to be Stacker 6, going up 1 ml with each feed since August 21st, starting at 2ml so we are now at 6ml. We will use this the remainder of the week and then next week move to 7ml and the following week and those thereafter will get 8ml, the max. I do this because of nute burn...this is a potent mix and you have to incrementally increase the dose or you will shock the plants. I have found that this is really apparent once you hit the 5ml threshold so I have found that slowing down the increase post the 5ml dose, prohibits or decreases any nute burn we may see from using this awesome liquid flowering additive.

Since I am not doing a Plant of the Day today and everyone seems really into the Stacker, I wanted to drop some of Humboldt's info for you on this product. As you know, I also use their Tree Trunk Silicate as my Silica composite throughout the grow-I really do think they are the best of each product to implement into your grow routine.

HUMBOLDT'S FLOWER STACKER: Feeding Chart for the Humboldt line w/Stacker included

CONTAINS VITAMIN B1: VitaminB1 has been touted as a cure-all for transplant shock. Labels typically claim that B1 supports conditions for better plant establishment and growth in a wide range of plants.

HIGH AMOUNT OF PHOSPHORUS AND POTASSIUM: Application of phosphorus and potassium during the flower development phase improves soil/foliar nutrient conditions for better crop yields.

INCREASE YIELDS: Flower Stacker is a flowering additive designed to help your plants natural ability to increase yield and flower density. It’s an ideal nutrient solution for potting soil for indoor plants and outdoor plants.

Raving Reviews:

-This product performs exactly as it says on everything it says it will

-There is a noticeable difference

-The Best Flowering Plant Food - Humboldts Secret Flower Stacker - Let Your Flowers Mature To Their Maximum Potential

-This stuff is like pouring clear, liquid protein shake on your plants. When it comes time to flower, this stuff appears to really be thickening up the flowers making them so much bigger, thicker, hearty looking

-This stuff will definitely give you more bud sites overnight. Blooming will be explosive and noticeable overnight

-This stuff works wonders! My buds have gotten soo big and smelly since I’ve started using this product!

-I love this product ..first time I used it was about 2 weeks ago and man this lil bottle of awesomeness blew my mind

So can all these people be wrong? I think not!

I also rearranged some yo-yos tonight as well, it was too clustered in one spot and I didn't like how a couple mains were hanging in the tent. I am pleased with how it came out.

Remember we talked about the possibility of our Uma having purple or even black stalks and stems come harvest time because of an odd Durban Poison landrace sativa trait? Well if you don't remember, I'm sure Shed will go back and find where I wrote it and put it in a text with a green it's right "here" link lol but until then or if he doesn't, that's what DP says about the DP and low and behold, look what I found was happening today

After being down low, I saw some midline leaves that needed to go to give me some bottom light once again so there they went with a little snippity snip from my clippity clip.

Moving on though and finishing up for the daily update, I call this thread entry the "Colas Abound Update".

I focused on taking pictures that showed off the developing buds in their totality. A lot of the time we focus on a specific bud but this entry I really wanted to look a little more macroscopic like rather than microscopic.

It's one thing for me to look at all the individual buds and relish in their beauty but when I take these colas and stand em side by side and look at them from bottom to top, that astounds me.

The growth I have seen in just the last 3 weeks of flower has been unprecedented for me. I've seen fast growth before but I don't think I had any plants fatten up this quickly before. It's an exciting time in the tent and I am just happy I am back growing again and able to have had this healthy grow and share it with you guys and gals.

I wholeheartedly missed the love you guys give off for the girls, if you don't recall, TK doesn't compliment so much or say anything at all about the grows so it's nice to have people who appreciate it. My mother whom I loathe most days is the only one who loves to talk about the tents! My MIL thinks weed is the devil along with TKs father's side of the family,so it is usually just me oohing and aaahing. (In fact, TKs father accidentally ate a chocolate THC bar and wound up in the hospital with a weed overdose. I mean a weed overdose?)(He told the doctors he was dying apparently but he couldn't actually form words so they just thought he was on serious drugs...tests came back all negative for anything crazy and then he got the phone call from his step-daughter who had looked for the chocolate bar in her fridge and put 2 and 2 together....that answered all his and his wife's questions....and now they thought weed was not just bad but really really bad)

But I've been rambling long enough and I got a plethora of photos for the
COLAS ABOUND UPDATE, so let's get to it!

Have a wonderful Veteran's Day weekend fam!

Jesus do I have to do everything around here? ↓↓↓
Because of its demographic, Durban plants are tall and slender with extremely large Indica type leaves.
A local regular variety from KwaZulu-Natal South Africa in Durban, it germinates quickly. Its leaves and stems are robust and expediently, the plant shows vigorous and accelerated vegetative growth with large, thin and very serrated leaves-a very typical feature of this South African strain. The petioles are long, some take purple or variegated shades of green and purple and stems can sometimes be dark purple to even black come end of flower.
It was just on Saturday. :)

You @InTheShed....you Sir, are the cat's meow.

I envision this is how you think of all of us here just waiting for you to interject or respond 1st.

I don't know. I have heard of where in the world is Carmen San Dieago, but no idea what it is. I'll google lol.
need to find those "good mom friends" I don't have
I hope you do. Is it legal to grow and use in Jersey? Sorry, memory failure.

Krissi please will you show me how your yoyos work? I don't see / understand what they do and how they do it :)

I hope you get some sleep.

 you and me both girl....you and me both......

She's pretty a gnarly gal.
I hope you do. Is it legal to grow and use in Jersey? Sorry, memory failure.
Ayyyyeee nope sure isn't to grow-I've got a felony per plant right now smh but to use, yes, anything they can tax heavily and make tons of money on so we just became legal on 420 actually of 2022.
Krissi please will you show me how your yoyos work? I don't see / understand what they do and how they do it :)
So they are connected at one end and then to the plant at the other with these little hooks. The base of the yo yo itself has a small white button, if you click it, it holds or releases the turgidness of the wire ribbon within, pulling your plant whichever way you choose.

Use em for after supercropping so you put the colas where you want them to go, to get them away from the light or to open up space for more light. You can use them if you have a floppy branched plant. You can use them when your plants are super budded and can't hold themselves up anymore. They are great for droughting cause the plants like to fall over sometimes when they are top heavy with an empty pot. They are great for mutants or monster crops like my Amnesias before this one, that like to grow all sorts of whatever what they want and generally need support or direction of some kind
I hope you get some sleep.
I am thinking I won't so I'll just add a special additional post to this early mornings daily post by throwing in these pics I tried to get for you. Just shows where they are placed, all around the tent and what they are attached to. Some black zip ties and to tent poles and other parts of the tent.

The only problem I have with yo yos is that when you have fat stalks, they don't fit the hooks so you have to use smaller branches and then a bud gets smooshed and I always feel bad for it as it grows all smooshed. Also, the like fishing line that's in the yo yos sometimes digs into the stalks and stems if pulled too tightly so just be cautious of where and how far they are and how taut the line gets. Other than that, I dig them. More reasonable than having garden velcro in 20 ft pieces sprawled across the tent although I love garden velcro so much better. If they could combine the two, that would be the perfect product for me lol

Hope you can tell from the photos what I'm trying to explain

The purple stalks are quite common in the landies and heirlooms I grow. Doesn't always make purple to black buds but stalks are common. A drop in temp will usually bring out some colors though. Looking great
I did happen to know about the temp thing, as I like to run my colored strains over the winter for that reason alone lol but this is really interesting that this purple stem or black stem is seen on the stalks. I wonder why the landrace and heirlooms? I wonder why that trait became extinct with all this breeding :hmmmm::reading420magazine::nomo: thanks for filling me in Rug!

 you and me both girl....you and me both......

She's pretty a gnarly gal.
I googled and checked her out! Very cool chick.

Damn, I hope you don't feel wired and hungover from lack of sleep tomorrow. I found it hard trying to be a mom on little sleep and it comes with the territory doesn't it. When does the little man start pre-school? It sounds like he made quite the impression and is going to enjoy school a lot. What more can we ask for :)

For the fat stems you could use a piece of rubber coated wire & hook the yo-yo to it
For the string cutting into branches cut a slit in a straw or plastic tube & slip over string

Nice explosive growth :bravo: Guess you didn't get my alert, for my exploding melons

Thank you so much my Irish robed friend. You have a bounty ahead of you and a vacation ahead, I would just be puffing my @MagicStone and loving life right now if I were you!
How can you not love this, in the moment, approach to life? Also Krissi and CL, I represent that great Italian/Irish 1st generation American cross: 1/2 O'Brien, 1/2 Giberti.
