Fast Buds Fun Time Wiv Ya GanjaGrandaddy: L.O.S. V Coco Shootout

Day 48 (cont)
Smoothie Auto are doing good in the Los but there is a huge difference with the Los girl compared to her coco sisters again.
#1 Is doing fantastic and she is a big girl in footprint. she is getting ample light into her bud sites but is a bushy monster and needs a trim I think soon. Her buds are still fairly slower forming than the other strains but she is well underway now

#2 Is still looking odd colours and textures on her leaves but growing. I had to supercrop her to stop her hitting the light as I left her untrained due to her odd growth. She is smaller in overall size bit her flowers are forming steadily now.

3 As you can see is a totally different phone and so stout and short compared. Doing ok though and has some nice limbs to build buds on. These are slowly forming now so hopefully she will have the buds to match the biceps

BlackBerry Autos are so in front for bud production now I think they may make the christmas deadline. I am liking their buds and leaves in them . the dark black is very appealing. starting to pick up a Kush smell around them too so all good.
#1 is nicely spread out and getting light and air throughout her wide frame. buds stacking nicely for a long cola brigade hopefully

#2 is growing well despite her initial pale appearance. shebhas not been trained either and is getting quite tall and has some great looking sites on her
#3 Is not as big as the others but making some nice bud sets

Bluedreamatic Are killing it in the Los . The coco ladies are doing well too and will certainly be ice yields. Bud sizes are still fairly small ut they are a longer flower so I expect they still have until the new year at least to build those monster colas.
#1 is huge and my biggest girl singer even without buds yet.The los is thriving below canopy and feeding her well.

#2 while.looking a bit lost in the thick of the coco jungle , is doing good and growing out nicely. again she is on par bud wise with her sisters
20191214_151131.jpg

#3 is on the end with all the small ladies and sadly fitting in. I think she is a different pheno to her sisters too.
All in all I am very happy with their progress and expect that the coming weeks will see a defol and some bending.
peace and blessing folks

Coming along nice now GG. Those dark buds are going to be a bit special. Are you using the sumo boost still?
No mate , I am using the MC . I did wonder about the sumoboost and the pk warrior too but too scared of screwing up the NPK ratios. The megacrop has bud explosion added to it to keep the 1 part mix as other versions of it meant adding their other two products for flowering boosts. After a lot of customer feedback , they added it as standard now. It is just a case of adding more mc for flowering. I am confident it is keeping them happy and so far I have only spotted a little calmag deficiencies ( sorted now I hope!) . Thanks Lewy. p.s offer still stands mate. ;)

Hey GG. All caught up again. Good looking green garden you have there my friend. Loving the colours and the companion plants down under.
:passitleft:
Thanks mate. It's odd to see other growth in the pots as a good thing too. Never thought i would find autos as engaging and trainable as they have been so far. Up for some guerrilla grows next season for us in the wetlands I think. it's the only chance we get with our 4 week summer.lol
thanks @Lewydeville

Sorry prof quoted wrong doh. Thanks. I am loving the MC but this LOS mate.!!!! . very impressed and so on track for the one bed multiple simplicity too. I am kicking myself over pot sizes now though. I know the LOS is good but screwed up with missing a control 37L of coco too. would have given me some great comparisons I could be more confident of results for. ooops. I thought of you recently and the multiples in o e pot. There is a training spring !!! sounds odd ut perfect for your idea as each spring can train a main in a very controlled way. The video showed multiple springs supporting multiple big colas in a single pot. would be a breeze to do similar with multiple plants. i wish i could remember the name of them but will find it and u can see what i mean. good to see you mate.

Hi 420 fam. just a few from today after a mega feed with the coco girls and the mc had a very good soak too. All seem to have responded with a little flowering burst. I am in love with this grow so far. Not used to such plain sailing. lol.

LOS for the win.
Welcome on board nunya. good to see a new face. pull up a pew . The LOS has surprised me , It has me sitting up and watching to it now lol. my initial thoughts were more on tastes and potency and I didnt expect the growth to be so good. blown away now.
Thanks for the comment. Welcome anytime Bud.

Growth in LOS can be just as explosive as any other method.
My last grow was an autoflower called Honey Peach CBD auto.
On day 17 it started flying, by day 21 I think it was it started growing up to 4" per day and ended up being over 6'5" tall at harvest and 7oz 10gr yield and that was with no LST training and my lights phucking up for 75% of the grow.

now that is inspiring mate. bloody hell. I will be kicking a child out of their bedrooms soon then. lol. It is shocking on the autos , so used to photoperiods but the Los genuinely has surprised me how good it is. roll on 2nd run in it and all that abundant life. going with "Pluck and play" no-till for it . Should be motoring along then. plan is to get vegging some fast flowering testers in before they finish so can utilise all that wasted light that a new seedling could take off in while they wait. Any tips tricks more than welcome Nunya. glad you dropped in all the more now. some great growers with eyes on for me too. Feel so protected from my own meddling.lol
Any thoughts on defol time for the autos. Always done it before but wondering more about autos needing the extra to keep pace with the ruderalis growth.?

If you're going to continue with LOS and doing No-till then your best bet is go ahead and do some 25 gallon fabric pots, start a cover crop, inoculate with mycorrhazae, add a couple hundred worms per pot, get a good mulch layer and just feed the soil daily like it's a pet.

Add some Rove Beetles for IPM and you're good to go for quite awhile.

As for defoliation, I do as little as possible myself, I tuck, LST , do whatever I can to keep as many leaves as possible.
But each grow space it different, I only grow two plants at a time in a 2.5' x 5' space and never really see the need to defoliate much.

Thank you for the heads up. The worms have been a thought with bigger pots and I did add a few from my composted soils outside and a few earthworms but my pots seem too small for too many. I will certainly look at the Beatles too. not one I know at all ( john , Paul, George and Ringo I know but..?? .lol )
Bigger pots is a plan too I am thinking of a 3ft by 4ft for the LOS and keeping the other half of the room for coco or other mediums. Love the MC too so want to keep a run with that till it can be used productively with the LOS too. ( watching Emilya for results at moment ).
Thanks for the input on the defol too. Always been force of habit to do so wondered if autos had the same demands that way. seeing these huge powerhouse fans working , it will kill me to start stripping them

Funny how they anticipate the dark period.
I think this is the 1st strain I have seen this in personally. They sit right back up in the morning too. Got to love this shit.lol Thanks Penny , always good to see you buddy

I'm thinking you can save some money on electricity by finding the time they start drooping. I'd shorten the light cycle. The plant is already shutting down anyways.
Interesting thought, but then I wonder if the plants would learn the new time and start to droop earlier again.

Wow Gg you got a full house in there all look happy Mega Crop FTW. Love the dark colors coming out in the Blackberry buds I've put a couple of purple fast buds strains on my xmas wish list this year hears hoping Mrs. N comes through with a couple lol. Keep up the good work Gg!

I had been up in the room about an hour before I took the pic and they were up and happy. I noticed it a couple of days ago and thought they had a wet dry cycle going and fed. the pic was about 5 mins before sleep time . All the other ladies are alert but 2 of the blackberry do the same thing.
O am loving the BlackBerry and Lsd25 buds. can look at them enough lol.
Heres some beautiful fruity smelling BlackBerry amd I can certainly pick up the varnish pheno on the LSD too
