Fast Buds Fun Time Wiv Ya GanjaGrandaddy: L.O.S. V Coco Shootout

All mine are fast buds autos. the black leaves are the blackberry and very quick growers. They are day 56 from planting !!!!. should finish in about 2 weeks now instead of the end of this week? still very quick and so easy to grow too.
The clones will be ready sooner than the seedlings.. same strain only the clones tend to start flowering earlier than the seedlings... Didn't know that..

Nice colours in there GG. That varnish scented LSD-25 sounds lovely. I like those sorta flavours. Hope you're well buddy
Hey mate. All good here.hope your the same ?. been run off my feet lately , fucking growing.lpl. love these lsd and BlackBerry colours too. The varnish is so blatant, not unpleasant but a hint of fruit in it too. Love the buds look against the stem colours. Am loving this grow mate. Autos are not as scary as I thought they might be. weird to have so little control but pleasing at the same time. Peace and love mate.

No clones mate. all from seed it in two different mediums. Los and coco/mc.

Thanks Farside , gone back to your feeding calcs and matching the silicon and calmag. It is a shock to see them miss it so quickly with the spots popping up on a couple within days. Sorted now though. Definitely a winner combo for my set up and the lights. I am admitting defeat on my plant count for future grows( unless I go the light mover route !). My previous growspace had more room so my count has become my "usual" 9 may be a better fit to avoid having to go upwards and lose penetration. @farside05 , I usually defol but with autos I am avoiding slowing their need down if doing it will be the result but I have good Rh and temps with a decent airflow and co2( exhale) . My queries is hopefully sensible but with the point of MC being more green and therefore more production , wouldnt stripping any out defeat the purpose a little ? , my dilemma is an old one debated many times over the subject in general but..... Mc?. I know sugar leaves can do some conversion ect.. but their powerhouses are generally the big fans we all hate so much.!
Will it be an issue to keep them is my big question ? bluedream'matic is a big forming girl and I could strip her out below decks but she has a lot of mini versions of herself around her whole structure. Similar with the others too. nice and healthy bushes with air and good Rh. hope that makes some sense to a question. your my pro guru on this Bluedreamatic led grow seeing those beasts you make. I am enjoying autos but not the newbie feeling that comes with it.lol Good to be humbled and remember the nerves though.
Thanks matey

Once you get an auto past veg, and into blooming, you can defoliate. I feel you want all those solar panels working for you to get the plant as big as possible before bloom. Once it switches though, I do think it's beneficial to defoliate and get plenty of light to the lower buds or you'll end up with a bunch of fluffy stuff. You won't hurt them at this point if you give them a good plucking.

Thank you farside, music to my ears.lol This fits in with my thinking on the mc and solent green for the rapid growth. With less emphasis on the leaf now and their needs altering, I am considering adding additional Pk and a bloom booster. Reading up on the Shogun products i have and from the info on greenleaf site . I do think i could benefit them with their inclusion now. The sumo boost
(SHOGUN Sumo Boost is a heavyweight bio-stimulant without equal. Standing proud as the champion of all yield boosters it triggers rapid gains in yield and quality by initiating a powerful and targeted flowering response. Plant efficiency is maximised to devastating effect, whilst quality, aroma and taste are improved via enhanced essential oil production.
  • Contains a phyto-hormone shown to stimulate various flowering enhancing functions
  • Stimulates growth, photosynthesis , yield, water uptake and enzyme activity
  • Stimulates secondary metabolite production and essential oil production in plants
  • Used as a root feed throughout flowering but with targeted foliar applications for optimal effect
  • Enhances the uptake and utilisation of PK Warrior 9/18 during flowering.)
has a ratio with 0 N and their pk warrior( is a 9-18.
Designed for maximum plant availability, SHOGUN PK Warrior 9/18 provides a concentrated increase in flowering elements to any nutrient package, enhancing fruit and flower production for maximum yields.
  • Optimum Phosphorus and Potassium ratio for maximum flower potential
  • Includes Plant Sterols and other natural ingredients to maximise nutrient uptake and utilisation
  • Targeted nutrition for the reproductive phase of crops
  • Manufactured using high grade agro-chemicals and specific organic acids
  • Suitable for use in all growing systems
With past use alongside the pk and their final finisher of Dragon force. (
Providing a final and decisive boost to your plants before harvest, SHOGUN Dragon Force is an expertly formulated final flowering feed designed to be used in the final two weeks before harvest. It forces fruits and flowers to add weight and size beyond their normal capacity as well fully ripen and fruits before harvest. Like an extra gear for your plants, this final boost can significantly improve your harvest at a time when most growth is normally slowing down.
  • Replaces your Bloom nutrient and PK products during the final two weeks
  • Stimulates a ripening response to encourage plants to pack on additional yield at a point when they would usually be slowing down
  • Ensures fruits and flowers reach their full potential
  • Unique nutrient ratios for specific life cycle boost
  • Fantastic value considering it replaces nutrients and PK additives completely)I assume this is similar to terpinator
I assume this is similar to terpinator but more end use and seeing the results I had with these previously, I think could fit well.
I will keep a tab on the daily look of them if it is a goer.
What do you think @MrSauga @farside05 . sorry its pasted info but all I could grab. I know Mr S has used boosters and had some negative results so I am cautious atm. Thoughts please and very much appreciated. I will e stripping them out at day 21 now so the buds can e totsl focus for thei final run. The blackberry and lsd look way more advanced than the others so I will consider the Pk addition for them now as they are only 20 odd days away( ish!). lol

There are few things that excite me more than LOS. Great job @Ganjagrandaddy

:bravo:
Thank you Fox. welcome aboard buddy. any help advice or comments greatly appreciated and welcomed too. I am falling on love with it to be honest. Seeing the life on those pots below the canopy and the food web working on the mulch is amazing. To be so stoked about a natural every day process feels nuts but to see it in my grow room , wow. I cannot wait to sample the strains to see how differrent the mediums are for taste ect.... Same with the Mega crop too. Will be great to get a good combo for each other as Emilya is trying to do. Enjoy your stay mate , waitress taking orders shortly.lol

A few of the girls today. The smell is definitely picking up in the room. I do need to vent now as the temp is up to 27°c too with the dehumidifier running to lower the RH.

Looking great!
seems to be going right so far.heehee. waiting for the dramas to begin !!! not used to it going so steady.
Thanks Silverfox. can smell the difference between the organic and coco already too. Going to try a little shogun sumo boost in the Los pots too. nothing to do any rhizo harm and can be used in soil too. The pk warrior wont be used in them though as they dont like pk products apparently. Thanks Fox

I looked the stuff up but couldn't find any NPK data on it. Honestly I don't like recommending anything I know nothing about so I don't think I'll be much help for you GG :(
I totally understand that Mr S. I am a " suck it an see ( then kick myself with regret)" kind of fella in general so do experiment quietly sometimes.lol. In this case , seeing the mc thread grow and start to take hold of adaptations and trial and error thinking , has me so curious now. Seeing you guys crunching numbers and coming up with strong combos that work so well had me envious. My brain has stop/start on that front sadly so I can only follow trustingly for the most part. This is a true breakthrough for this community in terms of value for money alone never mind the benefits of a great veg period for growth. Now I am hitting flowering greedy time and due to increase the MC , my thoughts are around not needing the N so much as I am going to defol now too. The products are ones I have experience with and liked the result of. One that surprised me by its lack of any real ooomph was the sumoboost. This is why I thought about initially as a good tester. not too strong but does have an influence . The stats for their npk suggest none in the pk product. and mainly kelp and some amino acids ect. Will be doing a lot of thinking the next few days on this one.
Thanks Mr S

When you find you have found the right amount of MC then you can probably try bringing in the other stuff at 1/4 strength and upping it until you run into issues. That's probably the best suggestion I could give not knowing the product.

I don't think anyone is reducing the Nitrogen load. That would mean you're cutting back on Mega Crop. They may be playing with ratios by adding more K, but not cutting N.

Hi Matey. I didnt mean they cut back on it on the thread . I meant that if I used it , I would. Having spent the day re reading a lot and then going over the megacrop site and claims for better terps ect , I am more confident to just up the Mc as it suggests ( And my very trusted friends here too ! ). I am going to defol and see where it's all at after the weekend. I am more than happy with production so far but the Lsd25 and blackberry have me concerned for yield with a few weeks left on them. I do think farside05 has it bang in the money for a later finish in the 70 day mark for the breeders strains too so am nit worried about the other 2 strains at all. Seeing the maturity levels in them compared is a surprise as I thought they would all come together at roughly the same time but seeing how much space I can give the remainers after the first harvest is a very promising prospect for their final 2 weeks or more.
I fed at 14.5g/10L MC , 14.5ml calmag , 14.5ml Silica ( thank you farside!). The LOS got a biosys tea of 3L each too.

They are looking good. Still seeing quite a few white pistils, they got a ways to go yet. On the ones I was getting to finish around the 10-11 week mark, they were showing sex around 25-28 days and started blooming pretty quick after that. I think yours might have taken longer. So add that on top of of the 76ish day total and you'll have an idea when they may finish.

This was my hope to be honest. Thanks fella. Seeing the LSD-25 and Blackberry had me questioning their potential . Beautiful buds and colours ect.. just not the yield. The others all look how I expect them to so I knew there was a fair bit left on them at least. I will settle in for the all haul with them now . Merry xmas
