Thanks Mr S. read that and got more confused earlier.l this app meter read 3000lx so looks miles under what it should be even for seedlings ??. I have to have been reading it wrong or something . heehee. fuck knows where I am at now then according to Mars 18"-24" for veg ???

You probably weren't reading it wrong. They aren't real accurate and several I tried that was as high as it would read "out of the box". Then you had to calibrate it by adjusting the multiplier against a good lux meter (which totally defeats the point). If you had a lux meter to calibrate it against, you wouldn't need the app. Even after calibration it read drastically different under both low light and intense light situations.

My experience when comparing apps to an actual lux meter, apps are highly inaccurate. Pretty sure there is a couple page discussion on that subject buried in my journal, along with accompanying pics to show the drastically different readings between the
This is why I said not sure. seeing the huge drop from Mars own claim was blatant inaccuracy. lol. they seem happier at the higher height though. fingers crossed my screw up hasnt donentoo much damage all round . doh. will get them there by hook or crook. lol

Day 39 and the stretch is on !!! noticed a good but of gain in a couple of stems overnight and some nice flowers forming in others. The bluedream#1 has a nice dark blue colour starting to speckled the bids forming too. Agyer a staking out further last night. I can see all the potential big strong sites popping up and some very promising secondary branches too. Fed them just the Mc at 10g/10l so will let them dry a day or three before their next feed , unless they demand it that is.!!
Los girls are making me grin for the change over now and look like they will steam ahead of most of the trained girls. quick random pic burst alert.

Looking good now mate

Wow Gg those have really taken off now they are some serious shrubs. You have them trained nicely for your space keep up the good work.
Thanks N .good to see you mate. loving the mc now I trust myself not to fuck about with it on v3. lol. I am enjoying this one so far , even with the harsh LED lessons I have already had to take on.lol. These sun globes are strong suckers. heehee. I think they will be good to streych to the lights now and will hopefully just run out of leg as they get about 6 Inches away ( I will be moving them up as the come up to meet them) . Holding these buggers back is a task and half at the I am loving the challenge of. ine or two splits that will slow a few tips from big bends but not too concerned and a little stress never hurts. The Los are getting very settled now so they are happy to work with me at the moment but seeing farsides Bluedreamatic might prove me wrong when they hit their peak. Even the BlackBerry pale girls is going for it too for all her vegan looking appeal.( ducks down to avoid thrown leaks , cabbage and various limp veggies!!!!.)
you seem to have it nailed your end too mate. love it.

They are growing super fast! :ganjamon:
I had the lights too close but sorted now. wow they have sone power Sara. hope your well. been busy in here.

Hope they announce your promotion Sara. Can we vote in it ??.

Day 40 and 3 in flowering.: Wow these ladies seem to be moving at a pace now. There are some beautiful buds forming around the room and I feel homemade bud porn is soon happening up in here. The lights move has settled them down nicely and the clawing is not worrying me at all now.
I dont doubt if I had not tied them up from early on , I would be struggling by mid flowering to keep them off the lights. The untrained BlackBerry girls are stretching quick now so will be tied down tomorrow after all. The pictures are still a random bunch until they get more interesting for their close ups and fame but I am made up at the recovery and growth now. I will be upping the Mc to the recommended 13.23g per 10L for flowering next feed. The LOS girls are certainly bigger and stronger looking than the coco pots and Mc which I didnt expect to be so prevalent this early. seeing how well the use of mulch layers works has me excited to watch too. tje growth coming up from it and dying back is a bonus now too. The Exhale bag will be broken up and distributed among them when it stop working to promote some fungi mulch . all good stuff. I am loving the Soil tbh and hope I can work out the MC and getting the max from it in them too. watching Emilyas grow for tips and heads ups.
so here we are with some pics. The Bluedreamatic buds already have a really nice blue colour really prominent now.

Have to agree mate. they are fun to grow and the speed helps it feel less down time and waiting for plant response. stem growth and thickness is good to see in here too. Desperate to hack the leaf away but thinking about previous chat and autos needing faster production and processing of chlorophyll for Veg times. More big factories to send mobile nutes among the plant. seeing how big the fans get and their speed makes me think even more around keeping what I can but opening the sites up too. one girl will get a strip back to test the theory though. Seeing the stretch , it should be doable to position them better and tuck the hell out of the them maybe. No doubt when I get up there today I will look and not be able to help myself .lol seeing bushy for me is a bonus before a hacking usually. I felt I left too much popcorn on the previous grow due to the lights being overworked a bit too much so the additional one means a better cover now so hopefully no popcorn at all.
Here's the girls this morning before I go messing with them

The ladies are looking fantastic,GG!
I did very little (if any) defol on my autos-I was a "master tucker" by the time they finished... :) ..
Ended up with very little of anything that would qualify as "popcorn"...
Most of the branches made it up to "the good light" and produced a good bud...
I'd like to say that it was an experiment to see if more leaves made for a stronger plant...
But actually,I was just very a bit lazy- maybe clipped 8 leaves off in total, and then only if they wouldn't stay tucked...

Day 41 ( 4 flower) : I have been in the room all day messing and tying down , rearranging , stripping ( NO Mr SAUGA, NO !...lol ) , and sweating. I got a really good look at the girls low down and dirty and I like what I see. There were a few strip outs for whispy crap and a couple of snaps that became mulch bit all in all there are a fair few sites now getting better light. I have fed the Los girls with some biosys tea and a top dress of life cycle to give them a boost in flowering. The coco girls all had a feed at 13.5 g/10L ,according to MC sites dosage for their age ow. I didnt add any silica or calmag this feed as I didn't want to push them too much till they settle again. I did take of a fair bit of leaf matter in the end but still managed to keep the non blocking stuff. Now the sites are more exposed , let's see what happens next. I hate how they look after a strip and tie down , all that healthy growing and bushing out to be devastated in a snip here and there. Heres some pics of the mess I made !!!

let's see how they recover now.

Very nice looking bunch of ladies GG! Can’t wait to see them bud up!
Thank you HH. I am actually enjoying this one and expected a nightmare with no auto experience behind me. using the MC and LOS has made it easier as i dont need to hit the right spot for nute changing ect... Fingers crossed now .

Love your honesty Cass.lol. I have been guilty of experimenting with " cant be arsed " method before the lst and quads became my motivation.heehee. I didnt take much off today, only low down and light blockers. I have them pinned fairly low so their bushiness creates it's own issues sometimes. Can be hard to get the airflow through early on in flower. I appreciate your comments mate.
