Fanleaf's Huge 42 COB Array Build Plus Other Builds

All aesthetics. This one will be fire red with white racing stripes mounted on a 20"x20" square frame running 5 Vero 29 D series on a HLG-240h-c1400b. Approximately 45,000 lumens total.
 
I'm going to put 5 per driver, and use my 6th driver for the 5 1750k veros. That was reason for 6 drivers jimmy. These lights your building look great . bro. Kinda wish I painted mine now. Still waiting on meter to be built, checked my order yesterday. The light blue with white stripes looks great, reminds me of 55 chevy uncle drive when I was kid
 
I have a few of these drivers laying around and wondered if I could use them to run a cob or two for veg? Any input from the gurus here?

You can run some small COBs. Those are designed for LED reel and low grade chips.
You can drive 2 Vero 18 off one driver. Maybe order some of those 1750k HPS replacement COBs for red spectrum coverage.
 
Basically just trying to use stuff I have laying around to start my girls indoor before they go outside. It's still cold here, and I was going to build some CFL fixtures, but if I can use these and run some cobs I'd rather do that. Does it make sense, or should I just knock together the CFL rigs and save the cob builds for this fall in preparation for indoor grows? Thanks for the quick reply Jimmy.

Ya. Try the Vero 13 or Vero 18 at Digikey or if you're in Canada they're much cheaper at future electronics
 
Will these just run a single Vero 18, or more than one? Thanks again Jimmy. I built lights for my saltwater aquarium, but it's been a while, and I used single 3w leds in series, so this is a bit different.
 
Basically not worth the hassle of building I guess, until it's time to build a serious array for my indoor 8x10 space this fall. Thanks for the help.
