Fanleaf's Huge 42 COB Array Build Plus Other Builds

He 'only' has HPS and Vero 29 but he flowered this batch with HPS most of the time i guess. Correct me if wrong buckshot...

They look great bucksen

Uhm yeah jimmy. I would really like to get my hands on 4x29 at 1750K. I would start vegging with up to 240W of 6x 4000K clu, the 6 i use veg like pros, never had so happy vegging plants before i fucked up lol.

for transition to flower slowly cut back to 200W of 4000K, adding 100W of 3500K on top, then, when stretch is completed and true flowering happens cut back all the 4000K and add 200W from 4x1750K instead, on top of max 140W of 3500K...so basically 240w for veg, 40W per sqft. Then crank up to 340W/ 56W sqft for flower.

I have some more space on my fixture... I love the idea of using these red 29s

How much LM/W are these at 50W per chip?

A whopping 83 Lm/w
But this video proves that plants don't see lumens at all.

That's the Vero 18. The V29's are coming next month. I'll put aside a few for you. You can have them at cost plus shipping.

I got my panel done, I'm going have to take my 8 cob light down during off hrs to finish. I need to add the 2 drivers. Everything else is wired up.

Damn nice and clean inside that box if you ask me. You would be scared seeing inside mine! I just have fun getting the cover screwed back down. Never want to open it again if I can help it.

You did a super clean job.

You can run almost any 36v on the inventronics. You can run 2 chips on that driver.
The no name driver's however are another story. Another guy here has the same driver's and they wouldn't run a single 69v chip despite having the proper output. I think those no name driver's need to be tested to see what they actually output.

Fanleaf's Huge 42 Cree CXB3590 COB Array Build Plus Other Builds

Not really. Pick up two D series Vero 29, teo Cree CXB 36v or 2 Citizen 1818 36v chips for the inventronics. Test them on the no name divers. It should drive 2 but I have my doubts. But even if it drives one its better than none right? Plus you can have 2 x 37w chips running on the inventronics that should absolutely work and the means to test the no name driver's. It's a win-win.

Chips aren't rated for any one specific currant. They are rated at test currant (shown on the chip makers data sheets) relative to their voltage relative to their heat output. The Cree 36v at 1050 mA doesn't even show up on their chart so I don't know if it will run.
I know the Vero 29 runs 36w at 1050mA and produces 1150 μmols at 8". Not sure about the Cree. Cree likes the higher currant on their 36v COBs.

I'm looking to recreate the 5 Cob CXB 3590 growmau kit from cutter but I'm noob and not sure where I should be sourcing parts. I was going to just break down and buy the kit but I read it may be cheaper to do a scavenger hunt and not that I need to save the money I could put that money to expanding this setup later.
