another couple days pass, all is well i assume, since theyre all still growing lol
ive been able to secure down the gas 1 now

the gas 2 is getting there, still needs another day at least then that one too can be secured. the critical took it in its stride and has passed the first node nicely, a couple days then maybe next topping.

have done some more lst also on both the rh, yesterday and today, theyre bushing up lol, nearly have all the tops at same level,

pulled the very top down and round a little more, the very bottom nodes branches have clear space to climb into, 2/3 both establishing their zones, happy with her, topping her didnt have any affect, and shes bounced back from any pulling around quick, hopefully she wont need too much more til i can let her just grow out

this ones a bit bushier, for sure, nothings been removed at all bar 1 accidental fan leaf lol having a little more tucking to do to give the tops their space but theyre almost there too i think. maybe day 22/23 above ground.

with regards to feed, ive upped the ppm for the rh to about 575, mix of distilled 3ppm and ro remineralised 43ppm, calmag 180-190 base 350ppm
will see a couple of days and adjust as needed.
for the mutilated ones i dropped their feed to about 350ppm ro 43ppm calmag150 base 150ppm give or take.
i did notice hollow stems on the critical and gas1, yesterday after a quick scan i found it was due to lack of calcium uptake, ph is ok its 5.8-5.9, so i didnt wanna drop the ca for them. please correct me if wrong on that lol

so feeding 300ml for the rh 2xper day still and 250ml each for the other 3, will increase volume again tomorrow, thereis slight run off on all so guess enough. ph 5.8-5.9

last thing of note

roots popping out on all the 4 on fabrics lol
is it ok? i looked that up too, people said irs not to be worried about they either curl back in or drop off? lol

whats the deal should i do anythingabout it or leave em to it?

due a little update..
so i decided to see what dropping to one feed per day and upping the nutes slightly for the single feed, was the 2nd day today, one thing i noticed straight away last night after at their first feed in 24h was the roots had all come up searching i guess for food lol, as soon as watered they disappeared away, they were nice white and hairy things so i guess all good, across all plants but mostly on the royal haze autos tho. same again tonight, hasnt stopped rhe growth thats for sure

this morning i moved the 2 gas og into the smaller tent, the royal haze were demanding more space and with the racks i have the pots on i couldnt keep all plants separated

that was thursday all in there

and now some room to breathe. there was condensation building upinside rhe door from them with all in there now,
the critical is in there with them
and here the gas

il swap the mars hydro into the smaller tent with those two tomorrow and pop the other one in with the two vanders.

you will notice the whitefly strip. had them on hand, and popped em up, i spotted 1 single one this morning when moving the plants and killed the little git, had a gooooood inspection but couldnt see no more lol

if i understood some of my readings correct, she is a she, (please tell me gently if im wrong lol) which is good fingers x
havent really trained much today just tucked some leaves around overall evened up nicely

cant see any telltale signs on this one yet, maybe she will go a bit longer, still growing and a little tucking here and there too.

the critical you can see from the pic above is doing well, topped again friday when at 5th node back to 1st, 5days after first chop, T stem thickening up nicely and overall looking well

although im not sure what to make of this

will keep an eye, this wont be ready for a switch for some time yet though lol

well its been a few days, and quite a bits happened lol

so i moved the 2 gas into the other tent saturday, id moved the little tubular heater in there with them to keep the warmth up, well sunday evening it blew the electric and stopped working; only a couple of weeks old and barely ran over half way on the thermostat lol

due to this the temp was sitting at like 19/20c with the crappy light on in there to i whacked the oil radiator on over night to help keep the rooms temp up enough to hold the temp inside the tent. so, what do i do to cheer the ‘girls’ and myself up

which arrived today
custom built (not by me) qb 288 561c 3500k samsung chips meanwell driver with dimmer nicee

so monday morning ups i go check the little one 22c ok thats alright check big tent 30.7c !!!!!!! high had hit 31.2. checked the rad and id had it on full power setting left on for when lights go OUT! lol
well crap. turned that off for the day lol

well, last night i gets in decide i need to move the gas back into the big tent as the temp was unsustainable and due to them being mainlined they didnt need added stress if cold temps.

while i am doing this, i learned a valuable lesson as disaster struck...

as i was just leaning over the critical, just adjusting the rh1 from smothering the newly replaced gas’, i move; my jumper sleeve catches the criticals tiny little limb and snap
well crappppp
so i learned it may be best to avoid jumpers inside the tent lol

how annoying.

well as i said above their new quantum board arrived today, so waited for the lights to come on and got it straight in there

i do already, thing is awesome compared to the others lol but you know what, i have the mars hydro in there aswell now since that pic, i figure i have the watts use them. temps are holding steady at 24-25c wirh all 4 and currently main qb focus is on the autos.

i was reading something on another site about red light before and after lights out, like 15-30mins, to mimic the sunrise and sunset, the mars has the bloom only option with just red so i may set the timers up when i get a chance and have that one come on for some sunrise just before the rest lol

i should also mention i have some co2 bags coming this week to hang in there, hope they will love that too.

not sure when i should switch to the ionic bloom though, now that they are showing signs of flower or wait until they are fully into flower?

have slowly removed some of the lower fan leaves on both over the last few days to make it easier to water now, has been getting more difficult lol havent taken a lot just enough. i did take a couple of the lower growth sites off of a couple of the stems to test the energy focusing malarky, not sure what will do, testing since testing ha

it is quite apparant how the rh1 which was topped and has a little little growth chop, ithas not bushed out as much as the lst rh2 but, it had never since topping not just from the 2 growth sites removed, i guess the end bud off those colas will tell a tale lol

is it actually worth taking them off? never quite sure. trying not to remove too much as theyre autos but like to experiment lol

gas 2 had all its fans removed except for the growth sites, again experimentation, this one was always slow, so either this technique will speed it up closer to gas 1, ir stress it eough it slows even more lol we will see

has been topped again, our little mishap doesnt seem to have slowed it any more rhan the mainlining has anyway..

duno if i like doing this though, purely in the time added, maybe the end results are worth it and i liked the lookof the technique so all good lol

the girls have defo bushed out since adding the qb the rh1 (topped+lst) on the left of the fly trap (basically is a divider in the pic) had some more of the lower growth removed than the rh2 (lst), many more heads coming up on that one, so will be interesting to see how the bud growth differs on the two..

have pulled down a few of the tall growths on both if you can see, they were getting right ahead of themselves lol i measured 30cm on the main top of the rh2 from the last bend in the trunk straight up, so i guessed another 15cm to base around curves

so they are 5 weeks above ground today!

lots of the lower growth has caught up on the main arms now , the tall branches i pulled over yesterday sprung right back up within a few hours lol
i am guessing they are in the process of beginning their switch soon! my friend reckons il be lucky to get 1ounce off them each, i hope for a little more but then i guess our expectations are always high when you start out lol

like oh yeah im gonna be the best grower ever with instant huge panginnnnn yields lol

tbh im really happy with how its all going for my first try at gardening.

i am really wondering when to swith to the bloom nutes tho, so would love some input from any of you guys with more experience lol i have the ionic coco bloom and the pk boost, ive no idea how they work and think the pk is only used a couple of times through flower right not every feed?

i should update some other goings on, i had a couple more heaters arrive after the first broke, will send that back tomorrow, but i have a 2 and 3ft now affixed to the uprights one in each tent

and thus, has allowed me to move the 2 gas, after running a light and heater in the small tent for a day or so to sort temps, back in there today to give the autos their breathing space back

i do feel a little sorry for them dragged out from those beautiful quantim rays, but i gave them the mars along with the other 600w (actual draw unkown, i guess 200w if lucky? lol) that came with the full kit in the beginning. its only a 50cm/50cm/100cm so those 2 lights in that small space shouldnt be too bad.

havent shown the flower space yet, have nearly finished it

dont really know rhe dimensions, but i think 3xqb288 in there will be nice, planning on the single 3500k and a double 3000k 301b board maybe with the far red

What did you decide on the roots coming out of the pot @falstaffo ? I have a few leaves showing maybe calcium deficiency, or wondering if maybe I'm getting root rot? After seeing your pot I looked at mine and found one root sticking out a side, is that a good thing?

mate ive had roots popping out all over for a couple of weeks lol tonnes of them, there is also white powder buildup around the base as they dry out more now, i think from salts? bare in mind the autos can drink a litre each at lights on and feel light 10hrs later for a second feed lol, and barely any run off either time...
i think i will run one feed to 30% this week at somepoint though to flush excess salts if rhey are building up, keeping the strength down around 500-550 ppm, the roots still break the surface around rhe base when they dry out a bit and rhey are pure white and furry so look healthy to me. im not really worried about the tips popping through, nothing can do about it iguess and they will retract if they want and move somewhere else away from the light lol

id also like to top rhe coco up again but its coming up around the stem now and the lowest two arms, does it matter if they end up submerged in medium? havent a pic to demonstrate bt will get one tomorrow
