So just wanted to drop an update on you guys. The TS1 has been chopped, trimmed and hanged. It turned out decent looking. Finishing a little early and probably because our abusive relationship early on
(I.E. Topping and LST). However I had taken cuttings from my TS1, 3, 5, and what I was 99% sure was a male TS7 seedlings. The TS3 and 5 showed similarities in what has been reported in this journal with male sacks forming only on lower node sites. The TS1 did the same thing, but I was able to keep it under control and removed them before any major damage was done. The TS7 was the one I eas sure was a male.
I am now 2 weeks into flipping a TS7, TS3 and TS1 that have had no LST and have only been topped. They have showed none of the similar herm signs that occurred to the seedlings. These cuttings will be ran hopefully at a normal finishing schedule.
I am now leaning towards the root cause to be an extremely sensitive strain that doesnt like LST too much. Just a theory at this point but we will wait and see.
