I was wondering about the rust colored spots along the center of the fan leaves, a few leaves showing it.

Doesn't look like calcium to me, as I've never seen it start on the spine.

I am not sure how I missed this post, but I did. This does indeed look like a minor calcium deficiency, spine or not.

20 days of shaking and burping, drained and strained through a cheese cloth then into the final bottle to await the flip of the clones.

I have added banana peels cut into 1/4 inch pieces, dried in the oven at 250 degrees and blended with my roasted egg shells for the extra potassium. To that I have also added some epsom salts and is on day 3 of brewing.
Now if someone could point me in the direction of some suitable molasses on the cheap.

Interesting recipe... any unsulfured black strap molasses from the grocery store will work very nicely.

Hey Em - just popping in to say thanks again for this documentorial thread. I just made my first batch of this, with eggshells I fried over a campfire. Didn’t have any cider vinegar so used the regular white stuff. AM using it for the first time to supplement some organic nutes I’m using in coco.

Can't smell worse than what bears do in the woods. Or can it...?
Smell wasnt an issue at all... carried off in the smoke. The timing was quite accidental - just happened to have a fire when the shell were ready and waiting - was a nice way to do it for sure

I will fire up the pit outside tomorrow and use the cast iron pan to roast the oyster shells.
I always keep apple cider vinegar handy.
I think I need some more molasses between leachette, fish emulsion, lactobacillus serum and call/mag.

FYI you can order a gallon on molasses online. At local store it's $3.69 for 12 oz. I got the gallon for $2.70 per 12 oz. Caching! Savings!
