DWC - Drip Irrigation Scrog 2400W

well how longs a piece of string whizz? but in simple terms this is great whether coco or hydro, havent grown in soil with this strain but i think it be good.

in coco potted in 6.5litre pots vegged 2 weeks under 600w hps average 2-2.5oz per plant. in dwc 21litre pot average 6-10oz dry, depending on how many plants in space. flood and drain 18litre pots about 6oz per plant dry a little less in crowded rooms. i expect 100oz off my flood and drain system which is under 4 600w hps with 24 plants. well 22 as 2 are damaged.

Is that using co2 or not?

Yeah after closer inspection it does appear that the tubes are in cased in plastic of some sort, I'm sure it will be fine as this is likely just some kind of burn in period. The light supports are metal as is the frame poles. I did notice the smell has got much better than when I originally opened it up. Sorry for hijacking the thread.

its so hard to deal with mate lol. seriously though it is a real problem because what happens is the plants flop over on one another then airflow becomes a prob and rot can set in. Had it bad in my last journal. luckily its not something that has hurt me much but it really got me in my wilma system journal and it was partly due to the same thing. on all my larger grows i have things in place to prevent this but in my personal grows i tend to be rather lazy, just because i do get fed up of growing at times as im running around like a mad man trying to keep on top of shit. so sometimes i try skip basic corners. i always always maonitor ph and ppms and keep enviroment right but training, defoliation, staking, scrogging, support tends to get a little neglected. i need to share my work load with someone or back off a bit. its so much harder now i have a young family to take care of too. my partner works full time in a demanding job so i'm playing part house husband part grower. i quit a damn good job that i jumped the queue many places to get (very regretfully) to do this full time. i enjoy it but anyone who works with volume would be lying if they said they always had a spring in there step, if they do they are one of those hard to find always annoying happy people! haha but shit, i got no pests, no root rot, no issues other than too heavy buds so guess its not that bad and ive put a fix in that will get me through this grow but i do need to pay attention to every area in future. how can i try help others when i dont practice it myself (only in my own personal grow). Mainly i grow with partners so i do everything right there as it just doesnt affect me. maybe i should tell my lass to get on my case but then at moment i feel like miurdering her half the time anyway so guess i dont want her telling me shit hahahaha

i seem to be in the ranting mood lately....maybe its the time of year, im stowed off. be great start to 2013 but could really do with some extra hands and a break! holiday coming up me thinks.

I hear ya bro. It's like many things, it's all good until you expand expand expand, then those silly little problems multiple so much it becomes a headache and you wonder why you do it as all, the original fun is gone. But I can tell by your videos and posts that your a no nonsense guy and like myself just get what needs done, done. Maybe after you get these harvested you can treat yourself and your family for a well earned brake somewhere. Get the head refreshed and come back raring to go.

hey c i happened to be looking for some new strains today and found ams. first come to mind... didnt you have a mother that was 2 yrs old? ive never had ams so after seeing your pics and conversating with wiz im gonna scoop a couple up. thanks.
If that mother was an ams would love to see again if you can point me in right direction. peace

You know, that makes me want to ask you a question C. What strain would you recommend for a newbie. I want something that pays for its keep but that doesn't mean I want the highest yield strain. I mean, it might be a pain for a newbie.

Holy Sheet C!!!
Both your grows are looking absolutely amazing brother.
Hard to believe you still have another week or so to go on your RDWC grow.
They look soooooooooooo crystalized!!!
Damn!

yeah they coming along nice now. just had nice harvest boxing day and have another one tomorrow too, getting real busy around here.

When is the right time ?

plants need to be in their true last 3 weeks of flower or u will prematurely ripen buds and stunt growth. also plants must be healthy and show zero signs of stress or malnourishment or u can kiss them good bye. its real potent stuff that takes alot out of the plant. but used on a healthy plant with half strength base nute and nothing else it gives amazing results.

Notice in the Wilma pic that some plants are not centered to Pot. Is this by design?

its not by design mate, just my sloppy potting. but it will come in use full as the plants get bigger and are trained. it gets very crowded in there, i'll prob scrog it anyway.

I had no idea what A.M.S was so I looked it up and it pointed me out to a seed bank, not a strain. Is this the bank you prefer to use or am I just an idiot and can't find the strain you're talking about? Sorry for any trouble, the whole strain thing is kinda new to me. A lot of what I've done outdoor was done with under the presumption that you have an indica strain or a sativa strain. So Nirvana Wonderwoman... Is Nirvana the seed bank or is it part of the title of the strain?

A.M.S is the neame of the strain, its an indica, sativa cross. Greenhouse seeds is the company. seedmadness.co.uk stocks them, just check through the green house seeds strain. Same goes for nirvana. im pretty sure u can order from both nirvana and greenhouse seeds direct but they only stock their own strains.
