Dutchman's Auto Quads Vs LST With A Critical+2.0 Twist!

Once you go quadline you never go back ;).

The post stretch defoliation looks great and I love to see you spreading the good news about quadlining to others! They will learn a great deal from your informative posts and awesome pictures. This has been a solid grow so far so just see them to the finish line and this will be a great finish to a great grow.

Thanks a bunch Ase! I’m really excited to get all these ladies to the finish line the critical quads look amazing! Can’t wait to start a big girl like your Tangie!!

Looking good. Interesting to see the CCa LST seems to be maturing faster than her Quadline sister. Sis seems to be pushing out more flowers. :thumb:

CCa2 (LST) is really frosty and definitely further along. Her colas are thick and smell delectable but I’m interested to see the difference between them come harvest!

:ciao::thumb:

It will be great to watch as you work out which Auto strains can handle the quadline type of topping and training. I’m sure it’s not all - but that PCE is taking it just fine it looks like. I’m looking forward to see the comparison btw that and the LST under the same conditions.

I think my northern light auto would have done better without the topping. Side branches never got huge and it always seemed like something was missing from the middle. There was never any new growth that filled the void in the middle like yours, Dutch, or like other plants I’ve quadlined

I’m excited to run a bunch more and find some good qaudline autos! I’ve got a ton of auto seeds to drop and there’s a few I know will do really well!!

Those criticals are everything Dutch! Too bad you can’t enter them both for POTM - twins!
Haha I wish! I don’t know if I want to enter them yet! Maybe once they are closer to harvest!!

I’m glad my PE auto rebounded and filled out finally! She is the biggest of the group and I know she’s going to pack on the size and trichomes soon!

Hola Amigos! I hope your all doing well!! Today is going to be another photo drip update since we’re basically on cruise control at this point. No feeding or defoliation to report just healthy, happy plants frosting up and getting fatter!!
The autos are all doing great and my clone of the Critical+2.0 will be ready for a feeding tomorrow. I will be using MegaCrop for the first time and I’m excited to give it a good testing as it is going to be my new feed line!

CCa2 I think will be ready by the weekend. She is on her way to the finish line and is looking great! I’m keeping my eye out for her first ambers to show and I will be taking her. PE ladies are both frosting up nicely now and have a sweet fruity smell starting to come through. Let’s take a look!

CCa1 / CCa2

PEa1 / PEa2

The critical girls are going to need a feeding tomorrow! They are moving along great and getting bigger. They are getting stronger smelling each day. I woke up this morning just before lights came on to a pungent woft in the bedroom! I love how strong these girls smell already and I can’t wait for the to fill out! Here’s a few pics of them today!

Alrighty then! ThT about finishes this update off. I will get some more photos up tomorrow and go over the feed for the critical girls as well!
Stay medicated!

looking great in there Dutch. Your PEA2 has the same structure my Blueberry has haha!
I don’t know how you feel about other folks dropping pics in your thread but here’s a link:

Highya Dutchie,

The CCa's are looking like you have fed them very well. Leaf tips are turning a little, just at the end. No ambers there, like you said. They look like a very nice smoke. PEa's are looking better. They still have a ways to go?
Then the Critical 2 is loving life! They look gorgeous! Looks like you'll be happy with her stash. Cheers

Ahh that was supposed to be a link :hmmmm:
Sorry Dutch I don’t know how to work this spaceship right now eh? Here ya go:

Not a problem at all archi! Glad to have you stop by.

As Always it looks great Dutch :meatballs:
Thanks hidden! Appreciate the positive vibes!

I like the striped pistils on PEa1. Very cool!
Me to! She’s got some really beautiful colours so I hope she displays it even more further into flower!

Looking great Dutch!

CCa's are really starting to get pretty. And....
:woohoo:
The PEa's are just slaying it. Good to see #1 perked up. You're doing great work over there brother.
:headbanger:
Rock on
:theband:
Thanks Preston! I’m glad the PE’s are doing better! Not as big as yours but I still hope for some good smoke!

Thanks bode! PE ladies will definitely be going longer. I’m guessing another month. From other journals and grows that I have read about @Barneys Farm Official Pineapple Express autos they usually go between 90-100 days depending on the genotype.

I love the looks of the critical girls and the frost on them in crazy! I can’t wait for them to be finished haha

Looking dank as usual bro. Keep up the good work :passitleft:

Until few months ago, I wasn't aware that this technique is called "Quadlining". I've been using this kind of structure for several years in my grows. For me, results are great compared to just 2 main tops. Saves time and great for tents with square shaped floors.

For by current Blue Cheese grow, I topped these four main lines. It's the same thing but more like octolining. It is working out great so far. I think topping the quadline provided some flexibility to branches and made training a little bit easier. I wouldn't go for 8 main tops if I was growing in soil but I think I can make my plants produce nice and big buds thanks to coco coir :blunt:

Feb.13

Hellooo and :welcome: again! I’ve got s few things to touch base on tonight but mostly just cruising along with some more pictures!

All the autos will be ready for a feeding tomorrow. The CC girls aren’t drinking quite as fast anymore but still keeping pace with the PE’s.

I was looking at the CC autos out of the tent this evening and holy do they stink! Sticky and smelly ladies these 2 are! After getting some smells of them up close I’m even more excited to chop and sample! If they smoke like they smell then I’m going to be extra happy! Here a bunch of pictures from this evening!

Well as it’s been mentioned..... these critical+2.0 girls are stealing the spotlight! They have it going on and I’m so pleased to have them growing in my garden! The smells coming from them are lemon citrus with a hint of fuel and ammonia! What a combo! The frost is getting thicker and the colas have begun to fill out. I spotted the first sign of red hairs today on both plants so we’re moving closer!! I know @playerunknown harvested “Mack” at 45 days which is the mother of my criticals so I’m hoping for around the same chop date but we will let the trichomes tell the whole story! Here’s a few frosty photos for you.

Finally it was time for my little critical+2.0 clone to get a watering and her first feeding! This critical will be on a new nutrient line... MegaCrop! I measured out .56g of the dry mix powder and mixed it into 1L of water. It dissolved quickly and without any problems. I felt the need to check the PH and I’m distilled water it rounded out perfectly at 5.9PH

I watered her 1L of this mix and hope to see some signs of improvement over the next week as she grows! This is the first time using MC so I’m excited to see how it does! One thing is for sure that mixing one little bit of powder as opposed to my 6-8bottle regular feeding plan was MUCH easier!! Here’s a picture of the clone this evening for reference.

Stay Medicated!:hippy:
