Dutchman's Auto Quads Vs LST With A Critical+2.0 Twist!

Highya Dutchie,

CCa's still have no amber trichs and a lot of white pistils. Makes it a tough decision of when to chop. You must still have more patience. PEa's are looking superb. The Critical gals are frosting up really nice. Interesting to see the finish! Cheers

Hey archi!

Yea I was hoping for this weekend to chop the first CC auto but it’s looking like she wants another week still so I’ll let her go! More trichomes and bigger buds is OK with me!
I’m excited to see the finish on all of them as well! Can’t wait to sample them

Ello Ello! I thought today would be another good day for a picture update but then I got busy and didn’t get a chance to photograph the plants the way I wanted so tomorrow it is! The autos are currently looking great and cruising along with some great looking buds! They will all be getting fed as well.

The critical ladies are just rude frosty! They are the most trichome rich plants I’ve grown so far and I cannot wait to sample them!!! They have a skunky lemon smell that just makes my mouth water. Here is a few bud photos to close this out!

Highya Dutchie, Shed, gang,

What tipped you off as to cal/mag, Shed? I still need to learn more, lol.

First signs of CalMag deficiency are in the leaves and it shows brown/yellow rust spots for calcium and lighter yellowing between the leaf sections for magnesium.

I believe it's from the rusty looking spots on the lower growth.

Thats right!

Thank you Dutchie,

I didn't see that the first time. Guess I'm not observant enough. Thanks Cheers

Hello and happy Saturday!! :woohoo: It’s the weekend again and I’ve got some exciting news! So without delay let’s jump into this update!

The autos are looking good and CCa2 has slowed right down on drinking. Since I missed some Trichome shots yesterday I figured I should check her out today and to my surprise we have ambers!! Now there’s not a lot ..... but they are there! I also noticed some beautiful coloured trichomes forming that almost look purple or red! I thought it was really pretty and tried to capture some photos of it for you as well!

PEa1 has begun to take shape and is looking better each day! She is one thirsty lady and I think she could handle and even bigger feed so she will be getting one today! She’s got a great shape to her and even with all her problems growing up she’s turning out to be a good looking plant! I hope she perks up and greens out even more with the next feeding.

PEa2 is cruising right along and starting to bulk up her buds. She’s frosting up nicely so far and if she keeps it up I’m sure she will be a great smoke! I’m excited to see how much weight the 2 PE autos pack on over the next few weeks.

CCa1 has shown some calmag issues which I will be tending to ASAP. I will first be bumping the calmag up to see if that helps. She’s still got a long ways to go compared to CCa2 who will be coming down very soon but I am excited to see the results come harvest.

These critical+2.0 plants have really stolen the show in the 4x4. They aren’t the biggest plants but they are stacking up great so far and frosting up lovely! With a month or so left on these ladies they still have a lot of time to pack it on and really impress!! They smell fantastic and look just as good with resinous buds forming high and low on the plants. Have I mentioned how excited I am for these to finish? The clone I cut on Jan.22 is doing well and seems to have really liked the feeding of MegaCrop the other day!! She perked up and looks green and healthy so I’m excited to watch her take off! I removed a few of the old fan leaves to encourage the new growth so we will see how she does in a weeks time! Here she is today as well as some closeups!

So... after looking at CCa2 what’s your thoughts? Cut? Let her go a bit longer? She looks fantastic and smells great just not sure what I want to do? I want some opinions folks!!

Otherwise that concludes this update! I hope you enjoyed the pictures and I’m excited to hear your thoughts on the fate of CCa2!

Stay Medicated my friends!

I see a million clear trichs and not a lot of cloudy with just a very small touch of amber but not really that much. I'd guess she still has a couple weeks. Lots of white hairs everywhere too. I'm no expert on autos but I'd keep feeding her and maybe in a few days check again to see if the amber trichs have seemed to increase but I really think you've got a little ways to go on all of them, even the CCa2.
