Dusted Bud Genetics In High Brix Grown By BrixNewb

Is the rescue drench the...... 1 oz. Transplant per gallon of water with 6 mils of Tea?

If the plants seem weak and need a boost---almost never happens unless you made a mistake or there has been some environmental issue or circumstances beyond your control---try this:

1 oz. Transplant per gallon of water with 6 mils of Tea. Feed a solution with this composition to all the plants. It will re-colonize the roots and get things back on track. Do not do this if you aren't having any problems.

For certain plants a Super Drench is beneficial in the middle part of the bloom cycle:

1 Cup (yes 8 oz) of Transplant plus 10 mils Tea per 5 gallons of water. Give each plant 1 gallon of this.

There is also the "OG Drench" for certain strains:

1 oz OG Drench plus 1 oz Transplant plus 2 tblspn Epsom salts plus 10 mil Tea per 5 gallons of water

Rescue drench = 1 ounce Transplant and 6ml Tea per gallon?

Super drench = 1.6 ounce Transplant and 2ml Tea per gallon?

:hmmmm:

Update time.

Pliny Lights x Cali Dreamin #4 decided she was done waiting for me to chop her, so she went on throwing out new pistils. I had some issues keeping soil energy up and the leaves are crispy because of it. I am learning though, better luck next time!

Pliny Lights x Cali Dreamin #3 is doing pretty well so far. Still a few white pistils up top, no new pistils recently, so I went ahead and pulled a branch for testing. I think she is ready to come down.

Small picture update tonight. Pliny Lights x Cali Dreamin #3 came down Friday night, chopped off the stem and went into the jars tonight. Once I get them stabilized at a good humidity I will get a smoke report. As far as the harvest goes, as the previous pictures show, these Dusted Bud girls are extremely frosty, probably the frostiest I have grown so far. A tester bud was taken from #3 and the tester (who tests all my buds) was VERY impressed by the sativa dominant high from the Pliny Lights x Cali Dreamin. I think this is going to be a favorite strain of hers.

Pliny Lights x Cali Dreamin #4 is still alive, she started a second wave of growth and is throwing out foxtails with new pistils. I am going to let this one go a bit longer before I ruin her party. A lot of crispy leaves due to a soil energy problem I didn't catch in time, but she is still pushing forward. Space is tight in the bloom tent, but there is just enough right now.

Beautiful beautiful plants! You're nailing it! :bravo:

Don't sweat the condition of the leaves. Healthy green ones are always nice but it's hard to keep them in the groove for the whole grow. The important part is the trich load and you look like you're doing just fine in that department.

I had a good chuckle from this. Happy wife = happy life. They sure are a lot more fun to be around when their cannabis agrees with them, eh? I've also noticed that they have pretty good taste in strains. :hmmm:

Nice work, Newb!

Thanks GT, I really appreciate it. I am still getting the hang of the kit, but no matter what it always turns out excellent bud.

The lady in my life is something else. I am a very lucky guy, I will say that. She is an absolute joy to be around any time, I just try to give a little back to her by growing her some good bud.

My good taste in strains comes completely from 420mag. I researched what you guys were growing and took notes. Although I still have to order some Carnival, I have Pakistani Chitral Kush and Tikal seeds that I haven't attempted yet. At the present I have entirely too many seeds to justify ordering anymore. And the Dusted Bud I actually learned about from Duttypanty and Cannabartist who I follow on Instagram. I contacted Dusted Bud and talked with him, very cool guy to deal with. He has some absolutely killer strains, but these are the first I am trying. They are testers, so they may make the cut, may not.

Back with a veg update. Almost all the plants in veg would be much happier in larger pots, but I just don't have the space right now, so quite a few of the plants are a little grumpy.

Purple XJ x Cali Dreamin #1 and #2 have both shot out white hairs, so I am excited for them. They will move on to the next round. Also De-Stressed both of them today, so hopefully that helps them out a little.

Purple XJ x Cali Dreamin #3 is doing alright, haven't seen any signs of sex yet. #4 on the other hand was barely showing, looked like male parts, so #4 is no more.

Pliny Lights x Cali Dreamin #3 is in jars slowly drying to the sweet spot. My girl has had a couple of tester sessions with both Pliny Lights x Cali Dreamin produce and initial reviews are awesome! She is in love with it. #3 produced just over 2 ounces and that was with being chopped to just two nodes. I am excited to see the numbers from #4, I think we may see 4 ounces, but not holding my breath. She is still growing.

Looking good. I find that if you triple up the solo cups the roots will be happier. They get a lot of light in those. Stresses 'em a bit.

Tonight I noticed that Pliny Lights x Cali Dreamin #4 was still very wet from being watered 48 hours ago, so she got the chop. I was very surprised at how much she produced. I thought I was going to run out of clips to hang it. Filled up 3 hangers, where I normally fill up 2 on a 3.5 ounce plant. Very interested to see what the dry yield ends up being on this girl.

I got Pliny Lights x Cali Dreamin #4 into jars today, so they are close to being ready. Weight was right at 100 grams. This plant was quite tall, yet yielded the same as plants I grow that are half it's height, so I don't believe adding height will help my yield. I am in 5 gallon pots as of late, so I believe that may be my limiting factor. I am going to switch a few plants to 7 gallon pots and see if that gives me a noticeable improvement in yield.

7 gallons will increase your quality for sure. Yield might go up too.

The quality is already amazing, so that's interesting. I started with 7 gallons, went to 5 gallon pots for space reasons in the perpetual and I haven't noticed a difference, but that's not to say it isn't there. Right now I am experimenting to see what works for my grow. I even have a flowering plant in a 2 gallon just to see what kind of trouble I can get myself into.

Have fun! I think your skills and instincts are improving as you become more familiar with High Brix gardening. Larger volumes of soil contain more minerals, microbes and magic.

What's up with those fan leaves on a couple? Was there a problem?

Not sure, I have always had some fan funk. We have talked about it a bit before, but never got to the root of it. I am off the floor with sheet insulation under my tent, so I don't suspect it's heat or cold from a foundation coming through. I checked for bugs and it does look like I have springtails, but from what I read they are nothing to worry about, but about a week ago I started giving small doses of Azamax to the plants because that's honestly the only thing I can figure it could possibly be.
