I trust Nova's lab results. Just because the oil is at decarb temp doesn't necessarily mean that the extra carbon molecule can break free from the THCa. I don't think they mean insulation as strictly referring to preventing it from getting hot.
Now I need to do some more reading. My background is chemistry.
i didn’t want to screw up my first real attempt at coco butter so I did oven decarboxylation in a foil pouch.
I thought I had put an oz in the oven but when I weighed it before infusion it was only 15 g so the other half is cooking now. 30 g in 500 mL of coco oil should do the trick.
