Duggan Does C&N's Devils Carnival

Gazoo has no business blaming himself...he has followed directions to a 'T'. Like has been said ..there are at least three of us with the very same symptoms...early to mid bloom,..everything before that was perfect. I seen my issues coming on ever so slightly about a month ago and suspected it would get worse , as i've seen this before . I immediately addressed it (symptoms) with brix and snake oil along with epsoms. No change in plants...just got worse. Now...that being said plants are chugging along but something is NOT right . I would recommend straight water for anyone having these extreme symptoms...after all it's only water ..and if Doc is right about a salt build up and too much organic matter (believe it!!)then water only is def. the way to go. Not 100% sure though...that's the part that bothers me. SS's plants are literally identical to mine. I could take pics and you would say they are hers , not mine,..that's how closely they resemble each other. Lets figure this out.
I'm about to start another very special grow (they all are...:tokin:)and would like some answers...not just guesses...i've had about 25 yrs. of guessing ...i'm done with that ,...that's why i use Doc's gear so.....!:Namaste:

BrixNewb is up against the same problem. His girls in flower look like ours. I have to tell you, I was supposed to give Malawi an Energy drench and I mistakenly gave her TransWater instead. I started to beat up on myself for it, but thought better of it and decided there must have been a good reason for the mistake. Turns out that was apparently a good thing.

I have this guardian angel with golden wings. :laughtwo:

Duggan, do you think TransWater would be safe?

I pulled out my records on my plants, and all three are in second run soil, and they're all running within a week of each other, so they've all had the same treatment. Let's assume please that I know what I'm doing by this point, shall we? :battingeyelashes:

The mystery to me is why the Malawi? I've used the same soil that I used with the Dark Slide, and she looks fabulous. The Jamaican, using another bin of soil but the exact same drenches, same bottles, same atmosphere, and identical lighting is growing like a dream, churning out trichomes that smell of fruit salad. Just what we expect from the kit.

That Malawi though......it hurts my heart to see her suffering like this, struggling to make a go of it against God only knows what.

Kazoo, we know the consistency of the kit produce, and that's why we blame ourselves when things go wrong. Everyone is so gung ho about the fabulous results that we shy away from sounding an alarm. It's completely understandable. I still believe the kit is one of the best methods one can choose to grow with, but we have a mystery to solve before more grows are compromised. This is one of the finest communities I've seen for brainstorming a problem and coming up with usable solutions.

I found myself wondering while out walking and thinking about the curiosity how many other growers are having difficulties that aren't speaking up because there's a certain amount of intimidation with the kit and our enthusiasm for it? Now we have four. Who else is out there?

Incidentally, my records revealed that I noted the problem three weeks into flowering.

Wow,...same , exact symptoms but different causes? Gazoo, have any of the leaves turned all patchy like SS and mine? Red stems , curling up, burnt tips and edges, rust spots. The Brix levels are prolly in the basement too...FFS's....Ok , i'm gonna eat this Rib Eye and veggies,....puff a bit of Double Berry....chillax. Have a great night Gazoo and gang!:passitleft:......:high-five:

Exactly the same, all those issues. I will add better pictures tonight. With exception of your awesome purple flowers
you will think I took pictures of yours :)

ok.....Doc....hello....Sue....yes...there are parts of mine that look exactly as yours.....i feel better now(not really!!)We gotta figure this out. Sue....your plants are showing exactly what Gazoo and mine are.....Doc needs to see this.Pronto! Something is way off here....and it aint just my plants! WTF???

My plants went same way as well

My girls went from being perfect colour green to ten days later fried

Thanks Sweets, Much appreciated

Still wondering about the PRO-MIX
I need to contact them and ask if there has been a recent change
to there product ?

Another thought, although this started before I did the CAT's it seems
to have speed it up

Mine came right after its 2nd cat and then a straight water. Doc was saying yesterday that fabric pots could be the cause due to roots around pot drying premature. But I've grown a few times in fabric pots with no side effects. Just never grown docs kit before in fabric pots

Scotia and BrixNewb too,..and more coming....OK! Sue,..IMHO i would only give water with a lil Tea,..NO other liquids from the 'kit' , for anyone having these symptoms. We all have identical things going on, and like ya'l , i'm wondering about the new formulas too! I doubt very much it's the PM Gazoo, but like your initiative, just the same:) We need to get to the bottom of this , as SS mentioned before other crops suffer.
Thanks for everyone's input BTW...we will find answers...especially with Doc close by!:Namaste:

Incidentally, my records revealed that I noted the problem three weeks into flowering.

This coincides with the same time I NOTICED the start

So we know

Its affecting 1st, 2nd, and 3rd run grows
It is starting Early to Mid flower (noted week 3, twice)
All are showing nearly exact same issues.

Can't imagine its environment related, to many with the same issue

Nope,..i believe all our enviro's are within proper limits , for sure!

As someone that doesn't use the kits, and trying to figure out what could be causing all of you folks to have issue....this was the first thought I had. What do they use to mix the kits together and did something change. That would seem the most likely scenario, but I don't know squat about Docs Kits. Seems logical to me that it would be something like the ProMix.

Hey Stank,..ya but all growers are in different runs of soil! This 3rd/4th run of mine performed great before this .

How long did it take for the your plants to get to that stage?

This happened to me in 1st run, to my Panama and Peyote Purple. I also have some other plants and non cannabis showing these symptoms. But these plans are barely showing any symptoms because I have barely given them any nutrients

Let me ask this, how many of us like to feed heavy? To see what they can take. I do! I alway have fed 1ml per gal of soil. And when I saw the stress I sprayed destress but I also made an error. Up until just recently I realized I had been doubling my mix thinking I was mixing correctly.... Not good!!! So these are my thoughts. Possibly we are over feeding certain strains in 1st run 2nd run and 3rd soil. I see that not feeding any nutrients to some plants but still seeing that they have symptoms and they had only received a little run off GE in the past from the new mix of GE, this is where I would first look. Man I'm a little medicated and my thoughts are rambling

Panama 1st run

Outdoor never given anything but run of GE

Mag, the problem appears to be turning up around the first CAT. When did yours start, and if you can recall, when did you get your bottle of CAT drench? You make #6, so far.

Edit: :laughtwo: With Scotia, you make #7. How sweet is that? Lol!

I've been growing with Doc's Kit in fabric pots for more than a year. That's quite a few harvests, all in fabric, and none had this happen.

Five of us report the same timing of the appearance. It's not us. We'll figure it out, but we can now all stop beating ourselves up. :battingeyelashes:
