Duggan Does Black Cherry Punch & Star Pupil With Doc's Gear!

Well TBH, I wasn’t expecting to need more soil and more products from Doc already... guess I just didn’t think this through last year when I started getting the HB stuff together. It’s getting expensive... have already had to buy more Tea and Transplant Drench, which I thought was supposed to be enough for 6, 7gal plants seed to harvest but it’s just not.
And now I need to figure out where the hell im supposed to cook another bail of soil... took me a while to find a good place to keep what I have now... ugh. This kinda stuff makes growing no fun sometimes.

Ok...couple things 119. Docs gear is the least expensive...most reusable...reluable system out there..bar none! Doc has compared prices of other systems many times and his products are very reasonably priced.
A tip for growing with Docs gear.
For smaller grows ..like mine that use an entire kit at one grow...have two kits in rotation...most desiarable way to go with it. Always have new ,cooked soil ready to go for next round. Also buy kit stuff in bulk...way better...i usually buy 6 pounds of amendment and quarts of the liquids...mainly TP,GE, and Tea.The other liquids last much longer.
Just my thoughts ok! 6 pounds will amend 4 full kit grows!
Cheers eh

Hey Daj. I can't remember what you've done with your kit but I've been seeing the reccomendations to double the drenches which if that is going to be the case going forward, then the Kit will not be enough anymore. The other thing I am wondering is have you had to do any rescue drenches? If so, that will quickly deplete your supply. I'm with Duggan, buy in bulk. I've got enough destress and Brix to last a lifetime because I bought a bulk Kit.

Well said. Yes Dajerm buy in bulk, it is still way cheaper than other store bought nutrient systems, and considering what you get for buds, stands up there with the best.

Plus no Ph kits, testers, etc. I’ve tryed a lot of systems, and Doc’s wins hand down!

Plants look great Duggan, just figuring out this new site with the help of Amy and Ween

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I understand it is a resonabbly priced product... and that’s great it really is. But for me, I have to have everything shipped, it gets expensive. Plus it seems you guys must have more money than me... I can’t afford to order bulk. Maybe one container at a time... one product at a time I can. And I’ve been working on that.
Duggs... mines a micro grow compared to yours... I only grow 1-2 plants at a time! Not a whole lots worth

Ween, yes sir. I did have to do a couple rescues drenches my first time around. But really, I’m pretty sure most growers new to this would have to at least once. Thanks guys!!

Well there DJ Looks like we both have the Runt Grows (only 2 in 2 x 4 using 10 gal pots) :)
Its actually DOABLE

As for the kit " grow-able plant count" I think it is still enough for the 6 in 7's.
But only if we dont have to RESCUE DRENCH Much.

I am still working out of the original Kit and have nearly finished 5 plants ranging from 5 to 10 gal pots.
My First run (3 plants) I SEVERELY UNDERFED and this 2nd Grow (one 7 & one 10 gal pot) I am using
the extra amounts 1.5 Mil per gal of soil (I still believe this falls within the original listed amounts).
This looks like I will have just enough to finish the last 10 gal plant (34 gals of soil used so far).

Oh yup I don't have the room to cook a full bail either so its 1/2 at a time, Don't think I have seen
any Issues but still fairly new so could be, but things are looking awesome this run using the second
1/2 of the kit I started when I dropped the seeds

Ok 119...i hear ya bud....me too. Shipping is a killer to Canada so i try to watch how i use and order his stuff. If your doing smaller (micro) grows...cook an entire kits worth or one full bale and use it as you need it. By buying in bulk..i dont mean by the gal. Just buy the liquids in quarts instead of those really small ones that come with the original kit ok! I highly recomend getting 6 pounds of amendment at a time...this is enough to amend 4 bales or 'kits'. You dont have to buy gals. and gals. With your small grow here's what i would order next time ok!
One quart Tea
One quart Transplant
One quart GE
One quart CD
One quart Brix
One small bottle Snake Oil
No Destress.....never need it !
3 pounds Amendment
2 pounds Recharge
1 small bag of Roots
119.....i know this is gonna add up but its enough for a couple years for YOU .These supplies can turn into pounds and pounds of top shelf produce.
Does this help bud?

Anyone know why sometimes, from the watched threads page, when I go to a watched thread it sends me back to the first post? And sometimes the right page but the first post on that page? Or why every now and then it actually takes me to where I left off?

Noticed this too, Think it could have something to do with ME Giving Up on the
thread loading and when I come back it drops me at the top again ?

Also last Night I it was sooooooo sloooooow loading It was like watching them GROW
Started thinking they will be Harvested before I get to see them. :)

Wasn’t the original .5-1.0

Wasn’t the original amount for drenches .5-1.0? Pretty sure. So 1.5 is definitely beyond that. I dunno Gazoo... it might be doable if they were perfect grows. But it doesn’t leave any room for mistakes. Just one or two rescue drenches and you’ll need more tea and Transplant... it’s a great product at a good price, im just picky when it comes to spending money, since I don’t have much extra to go around. Sorry, I don’t mean to bash the kit, it’s great. Just get frustrated having to buy stuff all the time.
Thanks for your reply Gazoo!!

That’s what I’ve been doin Duggs, using it as I need it. Ordered stuff to get another bale cooking. I can only afford to buy what I need right now. So I couldn’t afford to buy all that that you listed. I know itll last but that doesn’t mean I have the cash on hand. I ordered what I needed from doc but nothing else. Maybe sometime in the future... hell I could only afford to build the lights I did cause my clients are kind enough to give me Christmas bonuses. Thank you for helping me out Duggs!

I get it DJ I don't like the unexpected either

When upping the amounts I don't see any room for error either.
You might be right about the original drench amounts, I did not go back and check
but for some reason I remembered it saying up to 2.0 Mils per gal but I get
confused rather easily :)

All in All I have not found a system with more potential so its a good investment in the long run.
I certainly Understand the Limited Funds but for me anyway Ease of use, Stronger more resistant plants,
Less Pests, No PH, No PPM, I have to take into account as well, I Spent much money on the above issues
and like not having to worry about them much now

119....i wish i could more.....im short of cash too!....Never know....these things have a way of working out...:thumb:

Hey Daj. Keep in mind, this hobby can get expensive really quick, no matter what you use. Your saving money in the end by not having to pay for top quality produce. Some can grow on a budget but I'm guessing there are some serious quality/yield trade offs. Sorry you had to do the rescues, leaving you short on trans and tea. For perspective, I did my first grow (only one before switched to the Kit) with a "starter kit" of synth nutes and wound up running out of a couple things and the only options were to buy big bottles even though I only needed a little to get me through. I also had to buy ph up/down, calmag, some other stuff I don't remember right now and wound up gifting all the leftover stuff to a member on here. I do pretty good for myself and could afford to buy all the pot my gf needs and have decent connections but I prefer to grow my own because I love growing it and I know it's organic and I wash it. Who knows what you get when you buy from a supplier or dispencery.

Hang tight Daj! It'll all pay off in the end!

Oh absolutely Gazoo, as I said I’m not hating On the kit, seems I keep having unexpected expenses popping up with this system though.
But yes, I love not checking the PH or any of that mess. In fact I had mites the grow before I started HB and I haven’t seen them since! Pretty amazing!

Na, you’ve helped plenty Duggs, now time for me to stop clogging up your thread with my mess. Have a great day!! And thanks again!

Absolutely no mess...no worries!...Like i said...i wish i could help more!
Once you get in the groove 119..things get a lot more manageable and believe me...this system is very inexpensive for the returns.
Just for the record.....ive NEVER given a Rescue Drench in all my kit grows...and i dont use DeStress any more...at all. If i took clones i might, but just dont need that product from the kit! Cheers 119.....and gang!:circle-of-love:

Man... how’d you manage to never need a rescue Drench Duggs? Crazy man, that’s awesome though. You must be a very intuitive grower.
Hell I’ve beem working with plants (outside) since 2000. I can take a look and tell you what’s up, how to fix it, and how to prevent it in the future. But that’s ornamental plants not this wonderful Cannabis. People say, oh it’s just a weed, it’s easy to grow. Yea, sure is, if you don’t care about the quality.
Anyway, that’s pretty impressive. :goodjob:

Ya,...this 'weed' of ours , easy to grow but to grow High Brix is a much different animal. Our produce has fruit that is very , very high in nutrients and sugars , only achieved with a High Brix tuned soil...like ours. Very special stuff,..very special produce comes from it! I am assimilated to it and am very spoiled.:passitleft:cheers ! Thanks 119!

Awww c'mon...we know Yer' getting promotional kickbacks from Doc!......lolool, just kidding Bud...there's enuff evidence in your's and other brix journals, that show Doc's method is sound!...have a good week Brotha...know mine will be...missus h00k will be back in Maz on Wed.(long story) ...WhooHoo!..."snuggle time"......cheerz...h00k...:rollit:
