He's been sick and in the hospital. Doc's can't figure out what it is. He wrote about it over in his journal. Hoping he gets well soon!

Damn, sorry to hear about your troubles... thats no fun at all. I have actually read a few articles about stomach issues stemming from heavy cannabis use. Apparently if you use a lot and its pretty potent it can mess you up. Just like with all things, good in moderation... abused and it can cause issues. These articles were focused mainly on Colorado after legalization, noting that the ERs were getting a lot more visits from heavy cannabis users (with stomach issues) than before legalization.
Not sure what your symptoms are but look into gastroparesis. Listened to a podcast where the host had stomach issues and the doctors couldn't diagnosis it and we're basically told him he was crazy because they couldn't figure it out.
That will help in the worst of times from what I read... but really that’s just a bandaid... cutting back some would probably be the best approach. But to each their ownI heard about this stomach issue in the last year ...

The temperature shift, sweating the whole nine yards. I’ve had this at times when I didn’t smoke or use cannabis in any way. Can be caused by lots of things. I would investigate things like elevated mast cell activity. There could be some kind of internal allergic response going on.
Gaz - have you ever noticed that you ate something out of the ordinary for your diet before an incident ? Or are you taking anti-inflammatories, because they can cause this to happen too.
It could be the cannabis for either Gaz or DS, but really it could be lots of things. I have had terrible problems in the past, not so much at all now, and cannabis always made it better, still does. Everyone is different though. I met someone recently who has this with cannabis but she just worked out how much it took to trigger it. She doses with oil for pain, and if she goes over her dose too far... nausea and vomiting. She’s totally fine with it at a lower dose.
Speaking of doses, Duggs, any report back from your buddy about his pain levels on the oil caps?
good thing my bathroom floor is tiled, nice and cool when I have to lay on it to cool down.
This could also be constipation. My kiddo gets them all the time, can be a partial blockage allowing liquids to pass. He will get high temps, stomach aches and not be able to pass the blockage without help.
